- It's time to ship out the grain calves. First we have to catch them in the pens, then sort off the bigger cattle that we will sale. Catching multiple groups with the truck coming the same day is always risky!

I’ve always liked your working pens’ setup.
Sometimes they just want to hack you off! That’s a nice group of calves, they will really look their best when they are on the trailer 👍
Working cattle is like cooking a brisket low and slow!
I am farmer in Australia and love watching these American farmers farm. I see 3 ways you could’ve solved this. First solution - Design the yards better, meaning have a lane way instead open yard without troughs. Second solution - Make sure yards are steel not fences. Third solution - bring first cattle back so all the cattle together when going in yards finally would you like me to show you how’s it’s done. If so fly me over to America and I will show you how’s it done lol

Yes
They aren’t terrible but it’s not even close to reflecting the high prices in the stores.
I saw that coming. That whole line needs replaced with that same metal tube. With crazy cattle cause they will destroy anything in there way
For as many as we send through it’s only happened once but I do agree that it should be pipe at least all the way to the gates so it doesn’t happen again.
I know its expensive but in the long term be more helpful. Specially with the breed of cattle you guys have
Love your videos but man when you get that group headed into the pens you gotta push push push not sit back and let them second guess then turn around on you that’s when you always loose em.
I understand what you’re saying but man it’s a fine line sometimes on wether to give them time to find the hole or to go with them. Sometimes if you push hard you could send a group through the fence that normally wouldn’t have. Either way there needs to be a longer stretch of straight pipe fencing to push hard and get it done!
