I feel like Brady and Hannah are the most mature ones on the team. For example Hannah was super happy when she got second and didn’t cry at all. She also thought the group was great while everyone was complaining about it. Brady also is so mature for his age. I absolutely love his interviews
You are also so right about Lilly and Stacey this season. Every time something goes wrong for Lilly it’s never “I’ll do better” or “I’ll work on that”, it’s constant excuses and tears and pointing fingers at other people in an attempt to take the attention off Lilly for mistakes she made. She’s so young and talented, but her mother is going to be her downfall. And this has nothing to do with this video, but I’ve noticed so much this season that most of these kids feel so entitled, like they’re the only ones who deserve to be there. As someone with a bleeding disorder who can’t dance like they do or play the sport I love anymore, it literally boils my blood when they act that way. I wish they would be more grateful for the the talents and opportunities they’re given, and most importantly for their ability to even get to do what they love every day because I promise, it can be taken away in a heartbeat 💔

Carrie-Lee Cook totally agree with you. Also (unpopular opinion) I find Stacey and Lilly more annoying than Joanne and Gianina. Even though Gia complained about her solo a couple episodes back, it was only within THAT episode, whereas with Lily, it's an ongoing thing

Carrie-Lee Cook y ah this whole season has just been one giant cry fest. And the show is sooooo heavily edited. I can now tell the difference what is being said right then and there and what is being said during an interview and then added in when the camera is not on that person’s face when they’re talking. Like I can tell when the comments are being thrown in like Abby’s “Chloe’s washed up” comment that was thrown in.
Nobody really knows what happened to Lilly. Maybe she makes excuses but maybe something really happened, maybe spacing issue wasn't visible because they filmed it twice and made her fell for the second time when she was further from Pressley so we couldn't see it, maybe she apologized and get her corrections but they didn't air it or she was sure that she was too close but she really wasn't - it happens. It's really sad when people feel like they're good enough at psychology to say that Stacey is really crazy person (not just doing what she has to due to the contract) or Lilly is a real brat (not that her words are edited) but they don't have such a basic knowledge like that making mistakes and crying under the pressure is normal reaction to stress, especially for a kid. You can't blame anybody for crying or panicking when pressure is that high! "Save your tears for your pillow" doesn't help anyone's mental health, it's harmful because make person feel bad about her emotions. As a person who worked with children I can say that overall Lilly acts very mature for this amount of stress and abusive situations. But I can't say the same about adults who don't see how fake it is and keep commenting about the cast.
Gosh, I love sweet Hannah... “I thought it was good!” Although, she seems very uncomfortable in front of cameras. After her solo when she said: “Am I done?” I felt that so hard. Other little comments just make me think she isn’t happy in front of the camera. I hope I’m wrong or that she becomes more comfortable/confident in her own skin because she is a doll!
Would you react to the clip Lifetime uploaded of Hannah running her routine The Last Unicorn with her mum? Hannah seems to take corrections really well and has a great work ethic. I wish Lifetime aired the routines and clips like that rather than mama drama.

Agree with the Savannah comment on her putting her all into her dancing cos she really does, you can just see the passion she has for her dancing and my eyes are always drawn to her, Its so nice to watch.
Hannah is such a soft and pretty dancer. She may not be as hard hitting and fierce as the rest, but that’s what I like about her. I really enjoy watching her dance.
Sarah and Savannah’s energy just bounces off one another so perfectly. It’s so pleasing to watch because you can tell there’s no tension between the two. It’s really hard to find a duet partner like that but once you do it’s amazing!!
Thankyou for the comments about Lilly! When I was watching the dance I would look at the comments and think "How is no one pointing out that lilly forgot..?" She was clearly off and looking at the other dancers when everyone else what going into the prep for the aerial. Poor thing, so much stress for a 10 y/o who seems to be increasingly highly strung.
In my professional opinion, I think she was watching Brady out of her peripheral vision to make sure her timing in perfect because she was dancing in the front row, and I think she got lost in the moment and realized when Brady prepared to do his aerial to stage left that she was on the wrong foot because her and Brady go opposite directions
I thought Gemini was really good, they were really together and their technique was really good too. I think they are obviously editing this series to cause loads of drama. I would rather see more dancing and less drama.

One thing I’ll say I’m very impressed with this season as opposed to the other seasons is the camera man onstage during the numbers. For example Savannahs Metamorphosis number. He got her in the perfect stage light during that one turn sequence and it looked like an actual dance production. I love it and I’m so glad the producers changed the way we enjoy those performances.

I feel like every dancer dreams of having a duet partner that matches them and works as well with them as Sarah and Savannah worked together and matched to eachother in that Gemini duet! It gave me chills how well they worked together!
The only issue I have with this video is that I feel like the dance we saw wasn't the dance from the competition. I mean as a lot of people have stated, the dances are filmed twice: once for competition and once for dance moms. The dances can't be filmed as well in the competition, meaning most of (if not all of) the footage we see from the dances are specifically shot for the series. This basically means that anything can be changed. It's even possible that Lilly didn't fall at all. I do believe that she fell, I just don't believe it was the way it was shown. Since the fall we saw was most likely not from the real competition, it was definitely a recreation of her falling meaning that it would never look the exact same as in the real competition.

Hannah and Lily’s duet is suppose to look like Hannah is following lily because the story behind the dance described as Hannah being the older sister following her little sister. Hannah is the older abused sister while Lily is the spoiled little sister.

@@JordanJSparks I didn't even see that Hannah was following her. What would have helped this would be a bit more extended following timing maybe and some more expression of being the abused or shunned elder child in body language (acting?) and facial expression. They were both too pretty to be one coming across as the golden girl and one a kid who is hurting emotionally or otherwise. Lily did her job as golden girl but she does that naturally so whether she was acting or not was unclear. Hannah maybe could have shown some anguish in her expressions of face and even some intended slumping which would probably make the teachers crazy or some limpness of limbs or whatever. I saw that you have had PTSD and I have it too and sorta think this is a similar expression to PTSD in a way or potential for it via kid being abused and then the other solo by B of PTSD soldier version. I think Abby is experimenting with that idea in choreo and that's cool but it's super hard to express things like flashbacks and time switches etc. I think B did his best in pointing to his head and showing anguish in the moment and explosiveness just after or slumping/falling just after. I tried to do a film with flashbacks and it was critiqued as "disjoint" which its just pretty much how flashbacks are. To express them in dance would be even harder than in film so maybe this theme will continue and she will develop it further in her choreo. I do enjoy the mental health themes in this over just some fluffy pretty dances of princess and prancing pony fluff. It's more interesting but not sure if beautiful little girls can express it well even if they are experiencing any abuse or discord at home b/c they don't have the distance to process it. It'd need. a class for kids in what it means and how it feels and perhaps some acting and bodily expression teaching on how your posture changes and body changes when you are feeling mentally or physically assaulted. It'd be a fun one to try to assign as a choreo class assignment though. Wish I was in the dance world and knew how to choreo. It's a fascinating topic to me. But yep the following was not even clear to me as a non dancer. I saw her just sorta not matching Lilly and it was more just like two girls dancing and not much theme really other than that they were related.
You are so right Jordan I've watch that group dance and no one was in lily's way ,she had plenty of spacing to do her aerial, she messed up so she told a lie, also stacy needs to stop cause she is not helping either, tearing down a little boy , her character is really showing this season. Lily is not always going to be the best ,Brady is a good dancer and he deserves to be treated better than this. Stacy says one thing when the camera is rolling, but can't be held accountable for her words. Twice lily came in second so who was to blame for that?
Totally agree the tone of the group dance read against Abby’s intended theme, and that it played better as a result. The cynical take has been done to death. Also agree Lily’s excuse for the missed side aerial didn’t ring true (and sounded like her mother).
I understand what your saying about Lilly making up things but also I guess maybe from her perspective and her view on stage, she thought the direction she was going would hit another girl. She still shouldn’t make excuses but I guess if that’s her position and stance, I may have said the same thing
God, Gemini was the best duet on S8 It was sooooo Strong and energetic! It was VERY entertaining. Their musicality was goals, even tho Savannah was head and shoulders above Sarah in turns and some leaps, Sarah really stepped out and proved everyone wrong that she’s a strong fighter. Sarah turns were a bit worse than Savannah, but who can blame her, Sav turns are literally the best on the show, no way is Sarah (who’s not even a turner) can beat that she’s not a turner. Everything else is *PERFECT*
Saw last nights episode and so far the group dance for Queen has been my fav all season...They still need to work on all moving the same way, same time, but wow i just LOVED it and I cant wait to see your commentary 😁
Completely agree about lily. It's shows a lot about how someone deals with obstacles. Unfortunately Lily's immediate reaction was to blame it on something else or nearly have a panic attack.
Jen Greg I think almost every girl from the original team had times where they messed up or forgot things and they usually just took accountability for it
I agree, but having a panic attack isn’t her fault, she’s under too much pressure and it shows through. She’s terrified of making mistakes because of the pressure from her mom and Abby, which is why she tries to cover them up. I’m not saying it’s okay, bit it is what’s happening, she’s cracking under pressure and doesn’t want it to show. One thing i can tell you is that those panic attacks aren’t staged and they’re not something you should be making her feel bad about. She can’t control them. All she needs it to be held accountable for her mistakes and learn from them and to have less pressure put on her so the attacks stop being so frequent
So as a Gemini to me it means coping with two sides, they are twins yet opposites. That’s why Gemini’s are known for switching moods and personalities often. One side is also supposedly darker and evil. It kind of reminds me of yin and yang (Chinese symbol)
The Healer reminds me of the dance Twilight with Nick, Brooke, Maddie and Chloe (because of all of the partnering)! Also I thought the same thing about Lilly’s aerial!! I was like she’s not on the right foot, whether the spacing was wrong or not.
I agree that the sister with annoying little sister number was not exactly shown in the choreography and it was awkward as a number. Liliana did great. Hannah was just a poor match for Lilly which Abbie told her early on. Love Abby's fur collar diva outfit in the audience. I agree about the arial which L messed up on. I'm thinking b/c you can see her bringing her legs down prematurely that maybe she THOUGHT she was going to kick someone and she's being honest about what her perception was at the time but in fact she was safe to do the steps. She seems really on edge in general and having panic attacks in rehearsals etc. I think she needs a bit of a counselor intervention despite her mom being one. Even counselors get counseling. Stacy aside, I think Lily is under tons of pressure from her mother and from her dance teacher and expectations on her are high which internalizes to exponential heights. She is very funny and creative in her own private videos that she makes on youtube and I wish she would be more relaxed and have fun in the dance moms groups but the pressure and threats and drama is made so high that she is making mistakes from stress. She seems smart enough not to mess up a side aerial unless she meant to abort mission halfway through the step. She may have aborted mission b/c she was afraid something was going to happen that wasn't. That's just an idea on it. I really enjoy your breakdowns of the show and pointing out what the kids do well and don't do well b/c I'm not a dancer. I like the show as a guilty pleasure but mainly b/c the dancing is so incredible to me. The mama drama makes it less interesting and like everyone else, I'd be happy to see more dancing and less mama drama. I also wish they'd show more dances as well. Why not make it.a longer show that includes the full dances and showing some rehearsals and sliding in a bit less mama drama? It'd still get views.

100% agree with what you said about lily and Stacey... like I was shocked by the interviews and the change in lily. She’s always making excuses and justifying her mistakes and taking zero accountability. But again almost every time lily says something that sounds like an excuse, it absolutely sounds like something Stacey would say... like lily is picking up on the “woe is me” vibe Stacey is portraying... like always playing the victim. I have always loved lily... but it’s disheartening to see this. Maybe because before lily wasn’t expected to be the star...so she exceeded expectations every time.. she’s buckling under pressure and I’m hoping Abby can help get it under control... she seems to be concerned with Lily’s reactions also... and lily is far too talented to start going down this road.

Lily might not have been making excuses. I'm not trying to completely defend her or anything but I've seen dancers from the old dance moms saying that they perform twice: once for the judges and once for the audience and the show. Maybe lily was too close to Presley in front of the judges but not in front of the audience, and so she missed the side aerial when she was in front of the judges to avoid kicking Presley. Then, she missed the side aerial in front of the audience for some other reason. I'm not sure, it's just something to consider as an option before jumping to a possibly incorrect conclusion. I could be wrong though.
I think it is important to note that they re-video the dances. It is entirely possible that in the original dance that Liliana was too close to Presley and decided not to and production had her repeat the mistake, however the spacing was different. everything is not always as it seems and I don't think we should be making snap judgements about 10 year olds, cause we all know they're already under a lot of pressure
Don't forget they dance two times. You hear lilly say : I didn't do the aerial. So I think, she messed up two times. The one when she fell a little and wasn't close to anyone. The one we saw. And that the one they did for the judges she completely didn't do the aerial. Correct me if I'm wrong haha. But it could make sense because then it looks like she's lying like you thought. I'm really glad that you brought up the "Lilly excuse" because her excuse made no sense! I couldn't see any reason why she wouldn't have been able to do the aerial. You're right about something else too-with Lilly there's always an excuse. The Producers set this whole thing up with Lilly being the star of the show, problem is that she's not the best dancer on the show! Brady and Savannah are both better imo. I do think she gets her attitude and excuses from her mother. Stacey thinks her daughter is the best one on the team, but Abby thinks Brady is. Lilly has made several mistakes already this season, l just hope Abby will make her own her mistakes, otherwise it will just become a pattern. I don't think "The Healer" was intended as a mockery because earlier in the show Abby made a reference to her disability and how she wants to walk again. I totally agree with you about Lilly! Love your commentary. Thanks!

I don’t think Hannah was behind. I think Lily rushes her dances. From the music it seems like Hannah is right on beat. I could be wrong, but that’s what I saw. But I agree with you. It does look like Hannah is following Lilly, but I don’t think she was behind. That’s just my opinion.
I actually think of this all the time. The idea that Abby had that Maddie's timing was 'always perfect' so the girls ought to follow her, I just felt like she always danced BEFORE the beat, and so if Abby sees this as how to dance in time, then she probably encourages them all to do the same. I think of the group Dance Bollywood In Vine. Amazing Group dance, one of my favorites of all time, but I can't understand how they are all dancing SO in sync but right before the beat. This was often the case with Maddie leading a group dance.
I think abby just encourages the dancing to dance in syncopation when they are counting so that everything flows together, but it ends up with them dancing everything early
Jordan Sparks I agree. The reason I say this is not to pick on Lily. It was just something I noticed when she would do duets with Elli. Elli has fantastic musicality that is right on the beat, and Lilly tends to be right before the beat, so that makes it look like the person who is right after Lilly is behind. I’m a musician and not a dancer, so musicality is the only thing I can accurately judge. I really enjoy your videos!
I agree with what you said about Lily. I think her mother is getting to her. I want to love Lily this season, and I know it is probably also editing, and she is under way too much stress for her age, but her behavior can’t go on like this. The lies, the eye rolls, the excuses...I just feel like Stacey is toxic this season but that it’s affecting Lily and turning her into something that isn’t going to be good. She’s under so much pressure, I don’t want her to lose her love for dance like Brynn. But she has made many mistakes and doesn’t try to improve, only make excuses.
I'm so glad I watch Dance Moms on RUclips instead of on TV lol. I think too... the music makes a giant difference. The music for Gemini was great. It had... what's it called... this kind of drop-pull in the music that creates a sort of tension that works so well with the steps. Loved Gemini. Dancers were amazing. Hannah seems so "quiet" and "shy" in her duos and trios like in "real life" (ie. Off stage). She definitely needs help with her confidence. Her mom needs to stop speaking for her. She can talk, she just needs some time to think. Honestly... scary thought, Abby might toughen her up a bit because I think eventually she'll get fed up. Like Kendall or Nia who eventually spoke up for themselves. Though... she might lose her passion for dance in the process. I hope not :/
this season I would love to see most of the dancers improve their arms- like so far that would be my focus if I were in charge. Overall, all these kids are so amazing- now if we could just get those arms placed right. Maybe it’s the camera angle. Seriously tho- is it me, or are younger dancers waaay more advanced than we were as kiddos in the 80s/90s?
Jordan Sparks hmm...I don’t know. My interpretation was that that this was her too literally interpreting the story. Abbey flat out said watch Lilly so she did. I don’t think Hannah has that poor of abilities with timing, remembering choreography, or using peripheral vision- so I think it is an acting misinterpretation. She is usually expressive but seemed to misunderstand this theme. If she continues watching other duo or trio partners this way though, I’ll have to eat my words.

In my professional opinion, I think she was watching Brady out of her peripheral vision to make sure her timing in perfect because she was dancing in the front row, and I think she got lost in the moment and realized when Brady prepared to do his aerial to stage left that she was on the wrong foot because her and Brady go opposite directions

One thing I’ll say I’m very impressed with this season as opposed to the other seasons is the camera man onstage during the numbers. For example Savannahs Metamorphosis number. He got her in the perfect stage light during that one turn sequence and it looked like an actual dance production. I love it and I’m so glad the producers changed the way we enjoy those performances.

I just watched the gemini part because I literally can't get enough of that dance😂
The only issue I have with this video is that I feel like the dance we saw wasn't the dance from the competition. I mean as a lot of people have stated, the dances are filmed twice: once for competition and once for dance moms. The dances can't be filmed as well in the competition, meaning most of (if not all of) the footage we see from the dances are specifically shot for the series. This basically means that anything can be changed. It's even possible that Lilly didn't fall at all. I do believe that she fell, I just don't believe it was the way it was shown. Since the fall we saw was most likely not from the real competition, it was definitely a recreation of her falling meaning that it would never look the exact same as in the real competition.
Nienke Galis I was there she fell in the one that they were filming for “adjudication “ after they filmed it a second time we heard them say “Stacey they need you back stage” of course so they could create drama!

I know they used to do the dances twice-once for the judges and once for the cameras. If they still do that, I wonder if Lily was telling the truth about the arial during the judging performance, and maybe they had her recreate it for the cameras?
Hannah and Lily’s duet is suppose to look like Hannah is following lily because the story behind the dance described as Hannah being the older sister following her little sister. Hannah is the older abused sister while Lily is the spoiled little sister.

@@JordanJSparks I didn't even see that Hannah was following her. What would have helped this would be a bit more extended following timing maybe and some more expression of being the abused or shunned elder child in body language (acting?) and facial expression. They were both too pretty to be one coming across as the golden girl and one a kid who is hurting emotionally or otherwise. Lily did her job as golden girl but she does that naturally so whether she was acting or not was unclear. Hannah maybe could have shown some anguish in her expressions of face and even some intended slumping which would probably make the teachers crazy or some limpness of limbs or whatever. I saw that you have had PTSD and I have it too and sorta think this is a similar expression to PTSD in a way or potential for it via kid being abused and then the other solo by B of PTSD soldier version. I think Abby is experimenting with that idea in choreo and that's cool but it's super hard to express things like flashbacks and time switches etc. I think B did his best in pointing to his head and showing anguish in the moment and explosiveness just after or slumping/falling just after. I tried to do a film with flashbacks and it was critiqued as "disjoint" which its just pretty much how flashbacks are. To express them in dance would be even harder than in film so maybe this theme will continue and she will develop it further in her choreo. I do enjoy the mental health themes in this over just some fluffy pretty dances of princess and prancing pony fluff. It's more interesting but not sure if beautiful little girls can express it well even if they are experiencing any abuse or discord at home b/c they don't have the distance to process it. It'd need. a class for kids in what it means and how it feels and perhaps some acting and bodily expression teaching on how your posture changes and body changes when you are feeling mentally or physically assaulted. It'd be a fun one to try to assign as a choreo class assignment though. Wish I was in the dance world and knew how to choreo. It's a fascinating topic to me. But yep the following was not even clear to me as a non dancer. I saw her just sorta not matching Lilly and it was more just like two girls dancing and not much theme really other than that they were related.

You are so right Jordan I've watch that group dance and no one was in lily's way ,she had plenty of spacing to do her aerial, she messed up so she told a lie, also stacy needs to stop cause she is not helping either, tearing down a little boy , her character is really showing this season. Lily is not always going to be the best ,Brady is a good dancer and he deserves to be treated better than this. Stacy says one thing when the camera is rolling, but can't be held accountable for her words. Twice lily came in second so who was to blame for that?

Totally agree the tone of the group dance read against Abby’s intended theme, and that it played better as a result. The cynical take has been done to death. Also agree Lily’s excuse for the missed side aerial didn’t ring true (and sounded like her mother).
I understand what your saying about Lilly making up things but also I guess maybe from her perspective and her view on stage, she thought the direction she was going would hit another girl. She still shouldn’t make excuses but I guess if that’s her position and stance, I may have said the same thing
God, Gemini was the best duet on S8 It was sooooo Strong and energetic! It was VERY entertaining. Their musicality was goals, even tho Savannah was head and shoulders above Sarah in turns and some leaps, Sarah really stepped out and proved everyone wrong that she’s a strong fighter. Sarah turns were a bit worse than Savannah, but who can blame her, Sav turns are literally the best on the show, no way is Sarah (who’s not even a turner) can beat that she’s not a turner. Everything else is *PERFECT*
Saw last nights episode and so far the group dance for Queen has been my fav all season...They still need to work on all moving the same way, same time, but wow i just LOVED it and I cant wait to see your commentary 😁

Completely agree about lily. It's shows a lot about how someone deals with obstacles. Unfortunately Lily's immediate reaction was to blame it on something else or nearly have a panic attack.
Jen Greg I think almost every girl from the original team had times where they messed up or forgot things and they usually just took accountability for it
I agree, but having a panic attack isn’t her fault, she’s under too much pressure and it shows through. She’s terrified of making mistakes because of the pressure from her mom and Abby, which is why she tries to cover them up. I’m not saying it’s okay, bit it is what’s happening, she’s cracking under pressure and doesn’t want it to show. One thing i can tell you is that those panic attacks aren’t staged and they’re not something you should be making her feel bad about. She can’t control them. All she needs it to be held accountable for her mistakes and learn from them and to have less pressure put on her so the attacks stop being so frequent
So as a Gemini to me it means coping with two sides, they are twins yet opposites. That’s why Gemini’s are known for switching moods and personalities often. One side is also supposedly darker and evil. It kind of reminds me of yin and yang (Chinese symbol)
The Healer reminds me of the dance Twilight with Nick, Brooke, Maddie and Chloe (because of all of the partnering)! Also I thought the same thing about Lilly’s aerial!! I was like she’s not on the right foot, whether the spacing was wrong or not.

I agree that the sister with annoying little sister number was not exactly shown in the choreography and it was awkward as a number. Liliana did great. Hannah was just a poor match for Lilly which Abbie told her early on. Love Abby's fur collar diva outfit in the audience. I agree about the arial which L messed up on. I'm thinking b/c you can see her bringing her legs down prematurely that maybe she THOUGHT she was going to kick someone and she's being honest about what her perception was at the time but in fact she was safe to do the steps. She seems really on edge in general and having panic attacks in rehearsals etc. I think she needs a bit of a counselor intervention despite her mom being one. Even counselors get counseling. Stacy aside, I think Lily is under tons of pressure from her mother and from her dance teacher and expectations on her are high which internalizes to exponential heights. She is very funny and creative in her own private videos that she makes on youtube and I wish she would be more relaxed and have fun in the dance moms groups but the pressure and threats and drama is made so high that she is making mistakes from stress. She seems smart enough not to mess up a side aerial unless she meant to abort mission halfway through the step. She may have aborted mission b/c she was afraid something was going to happen that wasn't. That's just an idea on it. I really enjoy your breakdowns of the show and pointing out what the kids do well and don't do well b/c I'm not a dancer. I like the show as a guilty pleasure but mainly b/c the dancing is so incredible to me. The mama drama makes it less interesting and like everyone else, I'd be happy to see more dancing and less mama drama. I also wish they'd show more dances as well. Why not make it.a longer show that includes the full dances and showing some rehearsals and sliding in a bit less mama drama? It'd still get views.

100% agree with what you said about lily and Stacey... like I was shocked by the interviews and the change in lily. She’s always making excuses and justifying her mistakes and taking zero accountability. But again almost every time lily says something that sounds like an excuse, it absolutely sounds like something Stacey would say... like lily is picking up on the “woe is me” vibe Stacey is portraying... like always playing the victim. I have always loved lily... but it’s disheartening to see this. Maybe because before lily wasn’t expected to be the star...so she exceeded expectations every time.. she’s buckling under pressure and I’m hoping Abby can help get it under control... she seems to be concerned with Lily’s reactions also... and lily is far too talented to start going down this road.

Lily might not have been making excuses. I'm not trying to completely defend her or anything but I've seen dancers from the old dance moms saying that they perform twice: once for the judges and once for the audience and the show. Maybe lily was too close to Presley in front of the judges but not in front of the audience, and so she missed the side aerial when she was in front of the judges to avoid kicking Presley. Then, she missed the side aerial in front of the audience for some other reason. I'm not sure, it's just something to consider as an option before jumping to a possibly incorrect conclusion. I could be wrong though.

I think it is important to note that they re-video the dances. It is entirely possible that in the original dance that Liliana was too close to Presley and decided not to and production had her repeat the mistake, however the spacing was different. everything is not always as it seems and I don't think we should be making snap judgements about 10 year olds, cause we all know they're already under a lot of pressure

Don't forget they dance two times. You hear lilly say : I didn't do the aerial. So I think, she messed up two times. The one when she fell a little and wasn't close to anyone. The one we saw. And that the one they did for the judges she completely didn't do the aerial. Correct me if I'm wrong haha. But it could make sense because then it looks like she's lying like you thought. Which she is; but maybe just due to the editing.

I'm really glad that you brought up the "Lilly excuse" because her excuse made no sense! I couldn't see any reason why she wouldn't have been able to do the aerial. You're right about something else too-with Lilly there's always an excuse. The Producers set this whole thing up with Lilly being the star of the show, problem is that she's not the best dancer on the show! Brady and Savannah are both better imo. I do think she gets her attitude and excuses from her mother. Stacey thinks her daughter is the best one on the team, but Abby thinks Brady is. Lilly has made several mistakes already this season, l just hope Abby will make her own her mistakes, otherwise it will just become a pattern. I don’t think Hannah was behind. I think Lily rushes her dances. From the music it seems like Hannah is right on beat. I could be wrong, but that’s what I saw. But I agree with you. It does look like Hannah is following Lilly, but I don’t think she was behind. That’s just my opinion.
I actually think of this all the time. The idea that Abby had that Maddie's timing was 'always perfect' so the girls ought to follow her, I just felt like she always danced BEFORE the beat, and so if Abby sees this as how to dance in time, then she probably encourages them all to do the same. I think of the group Dance Bollywood In Vine. Amazing Group dance, one of my favorites of all time, but I can't understand how they are all dancing SO in sync but right before the beat. This was often the case with Maddie leading a group dance.
I think abby just encourages the dancing to dance in syncopation when they are counting so that everything flows together, but it ends up with them dancing everything early
Jordan Sparks I agree. The reason I say this is not to pick on Lily. It was just something I noticed when she would do duets with Elli. Elli has fantastic musicality that is right on the beat, and Lilly tends to be right before the beat, so that makes it look like the person who is right after Lilly is behind. I’m a musician and not a dancer, so musicality is the only thing I can accurately judge. I really enjoy your videos!
I agree with what you said about Lily. I think her mother is getting to her. I want to love Lily this season, and I know it is probably also editing, and she is under way too much stress for her age, but her behavior can’t go on like this. The lies, the eye rolls, the excuses...I just feel like Stacey is toxic this season but that it’s affecting Lily and turning her into something that isn’t going to be good. She’s under so much pressure, I don’t want her to lose her love for dance like Brynn. But she has made many mistakes and doesn’t try to improve, only make excuses.

I think too... the music makes a giant difference. The music for Gemini was great. It had... what's it called... this kind of drop-pull in the music that creates a sort of tension that works so well with the steps. Loved Gemini. Dancers were amazing.
Hannah seems so "quiet" and "shy" in her duos and trios like in "real life" (ie. Off stage). She definitely needs help with her confidence. Her mom needs to stop speaking for her. She can talk, she just needs some time to think. Honestly... scary thought, Abby might toughen her up a bit because I think eventually she'll get fed up. Like Kendall or Nia who eventually spoke up for themselves. Though... she might lose her passion for dance in the process. I hope not :/

Jordan Sparks hmm...I don’t know. My interpretation was that that this was her too literally interpreting the story. Abbey flat out said watch Lilly so she did. I don’t think Hannah has that poor of abilities with timing, remembering choreography, or using peripheral vision- so I think it is an acting misinterpretation. She is usually expressive but seemed to misunderstand this theme. If she continues watching other duo or trio partners this way though, I’ll have to eat my words.
