Lovely to see you back Leigh. Your hair looks lovely. Take care of yourself. Happy stitching 😊
Thank you! 😊 edited as I replied to the wrong message! Doh. Thanks Sally. I watched your latest the other day but on the tv. I have to go back and comment. X
It was lovely to see you today Leigh! I’m so sorry for your loss-I lost my dad in 2020 and my father in law in 2021. I miss them both very dearly, still. I’m glad it was as peaceful as it could be and he was able to pass at home as he wanted. 💕💕💕
Sorry to hear about your losses. It’s inevitable of course but losing a parent - leaves such a gap. Especially when I’ve had to be primary carer at times and there’s a complicated mix of missing the person while also relief that they aren’t struggling any longer.
In the warm breeze out stitching on my swing it was so lovely to be in your company. Welcome back or should I say 'home'.
Stay strong but let it all out when it washes over you. I am working on my August Mill Hill kit. Have a good week.
Thank you so much! How lovely to be able to stitch outside. I can’t. I have to squint and need to wear sunglasses and mine are only for myopia so … can’t read closer things with them.
Nice to see you back. Hope you find some comfort in your stitching, as you get settled back in at home.
Thank you! 😊 I hope so! I seem short on time at the moment.
Glad to see you back. Hope you healing goes smoothly.
Thank you. This week has been a bit harder than last week. But I have Friday off so YAY!
Great to see you Leigh! I'm so sorry for the loss of your dad. Wishing you peace as you process everything and sending love. I do love your hair color with the caramel! Happy stitching!
Thank you so much. And for the coffee!
Hi Leigh! Love your caramel hair! And the stitching of course! Nice to see you back. Xx
How many times did i say caramel? Lol
So glad to see you back Leigh! I was hoping we’d see you today! Your hair looks lovely!!
Oh thank you! I’m pleased with it. And then … I’ll have to wash it. Meh. I might have to straighten it myself instead of being lazy.
I am so sorry about your Dad. It may take awhile to find your new normal. Thoughts are with you
Thank you. X
So lovely to see you back on screen. I love the Quaker Alphabet, La D Da patterns are great. Hav3 a great time at the Retreat. Your hair is looking fabulous. Take care🧡🙋♀️
Thanks so much! Certainly it will be great to catch up with some stitchy buddies over the coming weekend.
Lovely to see you back and your hair looks fab. It’s time to take good care of yourself 🌸💞🌸
Yes! Thank you! Yay to getting to my hair appt. !
Nice to see you Leigh - and sending more big hugs as you adjust to the new normal. Enjoy the retreat - time with friends who 'get' you is always very therapeutic.
Thanks. I had to laugh just now. In the comments reply in RUclips, the app offers some suggested phrases or replies. I rarely use them. But, as I went to reply to your comment, it offered up “happy holidays” as an option. What? Why? Haha. Hope you are well.
It's wonderful to see you back. Enjoy your retreat!
Thank you! Will do!
Thank you for the video. It was good your dad went home fast, now let the healing start for you, and just keep the good memories of your life with him. It is nice to see you again. My friend felt like you did about her hair, and I told her just to let your color change. It was because it was a lot of money and work to keep up hair. So she let the dyeing stop, and when her real hair came in, she looked 10 years younger. It amazes me to see my daughter when she changed her hair, but she quit it was too much work to keep up. Me, I just take what it gets because work on my head is pain beyond what it is worth. Love you take care of yourself and lots of hugs to heal your heart.
❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks Gail. Having my colour touched up brings me such positive feelings and brings me joy, it’s worth the effort at this time in my life.
Glad to see you back 😊 The Artsy Housewife has lovely patterns. I have already accumulated a few patterns and hoping to start one soon
Sounds great! I need to start that butterfly. 😇
Also, I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. You two were so close and I know you are feeling the loss of a lot of your phone calls and responsibilities each week. ❤❤❤
Thank you. It is very strange … a month on and it’s very quiet. While I’m grateful he’s not suffering there is a big hole left by his absence.
Hi Leigh lovely to see you,So sorry for your loss,as an older person I used to wonder what your dad had been up to that week on FT as he really was part of your channel, love and hugs to you Leigh, stitching projects all lovely, your hair is very pretty, look forward to meeting you at Retreat, have a good week Thankyou for sharing 🇳🇿❤️🪡
Yay to meeting at retreat! Yea, it’s very quiet not having dad on the phone most days. And i keep having anxiety dreams and then realise I don’t have to ”worry” about him. 🥹
Lovely to see you back. Sending virtual hugs your way, or just a hand shake if you're not a hugger! Enjoy the retreat, and take care.
Haha. I’m not really a hugger except with close friends. But I hug as the occasion calls. I never hugged as a child. And I hate massage (I’m one of two clients at my hairdresser who doesn’t get head massage in the shampoo chair. Ugh). I also don’t like handshakes … the pandemic was a great time for me. I love social distancing! Haha. Awkward waves are my usual greeting 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
@@CreativeLeigh1919 I'm a bit the same. Definitely don't do massage. Sending a wave your way.
Give yourself lots and lots of time and grace Leigh. You were brilliant to put people to work helping sort your Dad's things. That is a huge help to you, and gave those people a chance to express their love for Graham with action. Ease back in. I hope the lifetime of memories of your dad will help when grief stops you. Sending love and hugs to you!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Aw. Thank you. I’ve spent time since getting back with different friends who knew dad. Also i took an evening off during that week after and went had dinner with some old work mates from Whakatāne and a cousin who also knows the same gals and we had a curry and some wine and just caught up which was lovely.
Glad to see you back, Sundays are not the same without you. New normals are hard. I'll be thinking of you, take care.
Hopefully I’ll not have to take a break for a while. Unless I have really, really excellent and exciting reasons. 🤓
Hi Leigh
You are in my Prayers Leigh. I know how hard it is to lose a Parent. I lost both of my Mothers and my Dad.
Love your WIPS - Beautiful Progress on them.
I went through a Drive Thru at McDonalds in a different town. I ordered a Large Plain Mocha Frappe. The lady at the Window handed it to me and she did not hand it to me like she was suppose to and it slip right out of my hand and it spilled all over the inside of my car on the drivers side plus on the outside of my car. I was not a happy camper and that is sticky when it spills.
Take Care & Happy Stitching
❤️🤗🙏☕️🧵🪡🧵❤️
Oh no! At least I dropped the coffees on the road! I was at a work Xmas function years ago at a cabaret in Auckland. And the server spilled a handle of beer over my boss’s wife! Over her shoulder and onto her lap. She was soaked. It was awful!
@@CreativeLeigh1919 - Ah my gosh - that is just awful
My sincere condolences to you on the loss of your dad.
Thank you.
Lovely to see you! Glad you are doing ok and yes a new normal for you. Sending you hugs and hope you enjoy the retreat.
Thank you so much! I am looking forward to a nice weekend with friends. I need it!
I've just caught up with your latest video.
Sending you my deepest sympathies, Leigh, on the passing of your Dad. It's such a hard time.
I hope precious memories help you with your grief. Take care. 💐
Thank you. Appreciate your kind words.
Nice to see you back today. Sorry for your loss, unfortunately I have no great words of comfort but can very much relate to losing a parent and how painful it is. Hope you have a nice time at the retreat.
Thank you. Your kind words are appreciated.
Good to see you again. Take time to take care of yourself.
Thank you, I will
Welcome back 💗 I am so deeply sorry for your loss.
Thank you so much. X
Good to have you back Leigh. I’m thinking of you at this sad time. I love your hair. At 61 I have no say on how my hair is done - my sister is my hairdresser so although I suggest things, she has carte blanche and does what she likes 😃. Take care. x
Thank you. I’m at our retreat and having a break for lunch. It’s been fun and noisy and a bit of stitching has been done.
Lovely to see you back Leigh. So sorry for your loss ❤❤Be kind to yourself
Thank you so much.
Hi Leigh, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. You are in my thoughts and I am sending you hugs. 💛
Thank you again down the coffees. And for your support.
I’m so sorry, Leigh. But, as usual, one must keep on going! Your hair looks great.
Thank you so much! Yes. Life is fleeting and we need to find joy and have great adventures where we can. 😊
Nice to see you, my thoughts are with you.
I appreciate that. Thanks Christine.
PS....your hair looks great!!!
Oh thank you!
