Of course I don't really know, and definitely I agree marriages demand effort to make them work right but I feel like expressing one point on the topic: There are some couples who in effect marry themselves without needing any one to join them together; and then there are couples who are joined together in the ritualistic ceremony we think of as a traditional wedding. As for the others, well, quite frankly, I don't know what to think.
The Priory is on my shelf and I will try to read it next year, I can't wait. BTW, I purchased it from Amazon and I did not get the bookmark, boo. I'm about to finish up "the Woman in White" and I can't wait to read how this all ends, boy, interesting characters in the book. Next my TBR, some fun books before I get to "the Brothers Karamazov". I will be rereading the "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya sisterhood", by Rebecca Wells. I did not like the movie but I remembered the book gave me some laughs and "The Sun Down Motel", by Simone St. James. Enjoy your Sunday.

I think I'd like this book. I can't order it ATM; I have too many books to read in a short time. I think you'd like THE WHISPERS -it's a new book that looks at the same subject: women in their 40's who have regrets. And it doesn't matter almost what choices you make; there is always the road not taken. Where is your review of Paul? I am not trying to be a brat. I'm going away for a while and I won't be able to watch your reviews. I really enjoyed this review.
