Few things that can maybe help: - On the second phase of Ganondorf, you can just do 1 parry with your shield instead of 2 flurry rush. - For Demon dragon, you dont need to use the paraglider when landing on it, there is no fall damage. - For the dragon again, you can jump off early instead of waiting the zelda flying animation to finish.
In case anyone is wondering how outdated these strats are by now, Assuming on version 1.1.1 (the latest gym run posted on RUclips as of May 30th 2023) they 1) skip a bunch of the items he mentioned to pick up since they have item duplication 2) skip the boss rush before ganondorf and 3) no longer get the paraglider because they can skip the boss rush.
Ngl it didnt occur to me at all in my playthrough that you could go straight to Ganondorf just like in BOTW. It just didnt seem obvious to me since Hyrule Castle was floating and therefore less accessible and I assumed they would not repeat that design choice in the new game (not that I mind they really throw the kitchen sink at you with the resulting gauntlet). Not to mention the one time i went to castle depths i guess i just missed where to go past the horriblins and like likes and just left.
Some thoughts on how this could go even faster: - Fuse a Zonai Glider to a shield to get a shield jump that allows you to go into bullet time. Demon King Ganondorf will just take headshots once you're in bullet time, you can skip a lot of the flurry rushing if it would be faster (that Lynel bow + whatever parts you have left over at that point should be able to do good damage)
This is wild to me. They made the same game. Blow through the rune dungeons and straight to the final boss. The rest is just busy work The fights didn’t even look that hard.
@@kayeurbano3309 Ok. So it would have been more accurate to say glitches and shortcuts. If they haven't found glitches yet its not from lack of trying.
@@MakerInMotion"not from lack of trying"... by playing the game.... I mean, is there another way? That's part of what I'm confused about. For example, this runner played the main storyline before speedrunning.
It just came out. IT JUST CAME OUT.
It leaked 11 days early
@JP Hataraki Some people were living under a rock I guess 😂
@@celestialkitsune It be like that. Speed runners just couldn’t obviously speak on using the leaks
Nintendo ninjas, Gym is just too fast, he knows nothing about leaks I swear

Nice video as usual Gym!
So excited to see what's discovered and how much can we optimize this game.

im hoping to be on the same leader board sometime soon so this is appreciated
i was just searching for this, ty
This looks like a fun run
Is there a video where you explain how you knew where to go so fast after the game came out ?
You should use shield bomb
It fun
And feels usfull for some reason
do you have a plan to make a video on speed run trick that casual can use?
How can these people learn a route through the entire game that in total takes less than 2 hours not even a week after the game releases? It’s insane!
It leaked
Could you make another tutorial on where to go to get the weapons?
How are you not taking gloom damage in the depths when fighting all the monster forces???

Tbh looks easier than blight ganons with few basic items in current any % 😂
The fights didn't look hard because Gym is a pro gamer. Like any speedrun, it's harder than it looks.
Me when sequel has similarities to first title 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
It’s only that way in the any% speedrun. Actually play through the game, and enjoy everything, and you’ll see it’s so much more.
Did you practice the game on the leaked version?
he clearly did :(
He didn’t he just moved to Australia 😉
@@WolfIink still to already know how to beat the game and found the SpeedRun route
Do you think he'd admit that lmao
@@jphataraki6764 what?
I think everyone should just play through as intended the first time and enjoy it. The speedrunners just looking for glitches are missing out.
Ikr!
But…there weren’t any glitches yet. These are just from knowing the game…
