I tried fusing a luminous stone to my magic rod/staff to create a magical torch, but it (of course) didn't work. Turns out I should have tried using a star instead of a gem! Thanks for the tip ❤
I have been warning why they keep throwing so many star fragments unlike BOTW. It seems anytime I'm already sidetracked I see numerous star fragments falling. The one neat trick I found but haven't seen anyone else mention is that a Dazzlefruit explosion will instakill any Stall-creatures it hits. I keep a Korok-Spear tipped with a dazzle fruit in my inventory to pop out anytime the dang skeleton's start to show up.
Something i haven't seen anyone talk about is how to make 5 fire arrows from 1 fire arrow. Something that carried over from BotW is that Blue Chu Jelly can be transformed into its elemental counterparts by interacting with its respective elements. So by placing 5 chu jelly on the ground and then throwing 1 fire fruit or fire chu jelly at them, the rest will transform, effectively multiplying them. Repeat until you run out of blue jelly. Which is the most common.
You can just light a campfire and repeatedly drop any kind of chu jelly on it, they'll all transform into fire chu jelly. It was instant in BotW and seems to take a tiny moment in TotK, but it's still pretty handy
plain Chuchu jelly has the same functionally as a splash fruit - gets enemies and objects wet. you can hit it to cool off in hot or volcanic zones, or to increase your attack power with Zora Weapons (due to the Water Warrior weapon ability). If you shoot it at an enemy, then perform an electrical attack, you get AoE electricity. you'll also want either plain Chuchu jelly or splash fruit for the Zora questline.
@@jonadol Yeah, you fuse gemstones to them and if you swing/throw them, the gemstone's respective element shoots out as projectiles. They serve the same function as the Blizzard/Meteor/Thunderstorm Rods from BotW.
A big one for me - if you see a group of bokoblins and a group of constructs close together, get as close as you can without getting noticed! You might get to watch them beat one another up and then pick off any survivors at the end of the battle.
Did this last night! It was great, I got a ton of new weapons and a new kind of construct horn. Something called the Constuct Captain II and the Construct Soldier II horn. I combined it was a Mighty Long Zonai sword and its pwr is 44 or something like that
There's a bokoblin camp next to a group of constructs in Hebra separated by some wooden planks. I burned the planks down and enjoyed my little gladiator fight lol
@@acesenpai6971 if you are doing the story, it's on the way to that region's dungeon, next to a backpacking korok and some vertical zonai ruins. Sorry I forgot the exact spot 😅
For the Rock Octoroks, you don't need to wait for the Octorok to throw the weapon back at you. You can kill it the moment it inhales the weapon and it will drop fully repaired, with its buff. Killing the Octorok is okay because you can't reuse them for this purpose until the Blood Moon respawns them anyway.
@@lazyryan3766 No. The weapon they give back never changes in TOTK like it did in BOTW. It just repairs it as it and rerolls a buff on it. If you feed them rusted weapons, it will always give back the same rusted weapon, full durability, with a buff.
Another tip for my fellow Lynel hunters that you might already know: There is a Lynel in the depths under almost every stable. Granted they are armoured so come stacked with bomb flowers or any kind of stone breaking weapon Another nice perk is that 4 banana 1 monster extract recipe works the same as BotW
I know about a lot of the Lynel locations but I never connected that with the Stables. That... makes a lot of sense. The whole underground really is a mirrored version of the Surface. As above, so below.
fusing a glider to a shield will make your shield jump high enough to go into bullet time for a moment from a flat surface. and unlike a bomb or spring, it’s reusable. also, since you can fuse bombs to weapons, long throw throwing spears actually have a use now
I think cannons have more explosive power and aoe than bombs. if you fuse them to weapons instead, you won't throw the whole weapon but rather be able to aim the cannon. Or you could make a movable cannon you don't have to waste durability, only battery that you can recharge.
They definitely need to boost how far it highlights around you and vertical height when lifing by 15%. The current range feels way too short and I feel like I'm constantly fighting it, and forget trying to raise up a part you want that has even something light on top of it. Suddenly it's the heaviest object in existence.
4:45 This also comes in handy in an area where the map is malfunctioning. The surface layer goes static, but the sky and depths layers still work. If you know where your destination is you can preset a pin before entering that area and, since pins mark that spot on every layer, you can switch to another layer and follow the pin to keep from getting turned around.
Here's one for consideration on your next video, perhaps! I discovered quite by accident, when dropping from a sky island that you can follow dragons into chasm pits. I was able to float above Farosh for several minutes while he slowly flew around the Depths, also learning that if you quickly release and then re-engage the paraglider, your stamina replenishes. Even better than that, I accidentally landed on top of the dragon. Guess what? You can RIDE them now. Make sure you walk around... there might be things you can collect that are very useful to Fuse with. 😊
@@brummelbar sure! If you are floating above a dragon using their updraft, release the glider and then quickly re-engage it. When I did that, my stamina would bounce back up to full every time.
@@Siper2they did that in BOTW too as well as the fight above Vah Medoh and during the flight range minigame. In TOTK the instant stamina replenish works around dragons, Coldera battle, flight range game again. IMO they should've made stamina replenish during free fall all the time.
Puffshrooms also work on the SCARY HANDS, if they're already grabbing you that will still happen but if you keep tossing them down as the fog fades you can just smack then all down without ever getting touched (other than by their gloom puddle)!
First question: Can this trick he used to make a photo of them for the Hyrule compendium? I tried to make a photo of them but I can't seem to do it from a safe distance and as soon as I approach them they grab me (and Hylia are they terrifying) Second question: do you know the conditions on which they spawn? @@pingaswingas1 It's kind of fiddly though imo and leaves you open to getting hit, quicker to either use a spring to boost onto the back or shoot a flame into the grass and paraglide the uplift.
also: a battle talus will only notice you if the bokoblins on top do. if you sneak up, get rid of an archer or two before they spot you, you can literally just slowly walk up to the talus out of view of the archers and ascend onto the structure while the talus is still in sleep mode. it does notice you if the archers spot you or you hit the weak point. also, the talus will forget that you are there if the bokos don’t see you anymore.
I really appreciate you sharing these tips. And as spoiler-free as possible. It's nice to get a leg up just a bit on areas or items I've encountered but haven't really dug into without losing the magic of having made a lot of discoveries on my own. Nicely done.
Thank you, I hate those stal enemies at night! They always pester me when im doing something and I dont have a weak weapon to hit them with sometimes. My partner barely attacks and just stares or misses.
The immersion of the game is some of the greatest I have ever personally played. When I went to Hateno Town, I has blown away how what you find explains what Zelda and Link have been up to. I know I have other things to do, but I just cannot stop playing.
yeah looking at the depths map from above is super useful. Water is blocked off, named areas usually have camps or mines under them, it's really useful.
A very minor one I've found nice, but haven't seen mentioned too much is that when you are diving into a chasm, you can drop a brightbloom while falling to see the terrain of where you'll land in advance. As long as you don't accelerate too much the brightbloom falls faster than you.
You can glue things to venisons with the ultrahand. You can also attach them to arrows. You can shoot meat arrows at koroks or shrine stones from the place where they need to go to, and then revert the venison's path with an object attached to instantly solve many puzzles
An important tip about rock octorok weapon repair service: they wont fix magic wands or amiibo weapons... unless you fuse them to another weapon as the *material*, instead of the base. Taking the weapon back to pelison and breaking it down will then give you the fully repaired weapon back. (ie: it wont repair a dusk bow, but if you stick a dusk bow to a shield and then have it eat the shield, the dusk bow will get repaired because it's being used as the material)
@@burger_kinghorn that was an example. weapons like the biggoron sword, for example, do not respawn and frankly this is less time consuming than farming poes to buy them back.
Another note about blupees, if you're in a large cave and see one, they'll guide you to the bubbelfrog. I think this is relevant in at least one cave, can't remember if I noticed in any others but yea
To add on to the Puffshroom section, the Forest Dweller set has the Fuse Recycling perk, Bursting materials fused to the weapon can be reused again and again, fuse a Puffshroom to it, and you have one of the most broken weapons in the game, giving you an unlimited supply of Puffshrooms until the weapon breaks and even then, you can just repair it.
I kind of low-key love that he's been 3 weeks without another video because it tells me that he's enjoying the hell out of the game probably coming up with video ideas and sooner rather than later we will get a pretty good sized content dump
This video is incredible! I’ve been playing non-stop since launch and haven’t heard of half of these things, like ultrahand leveling, mid-air wing, sneakstrikes with puffshrooms and the cookbook shortcuts, all of which will be SUPER useful. And as always, amazing presentation, editing and structure.
Using a spring on a shield to jump higher isnt really that great since you only get one use, in my opinion. It is great for repelling enemies. If an enemy attacks your spring shield, itll launch them back giving you some space. It doesnt break after being used the first time, either
Return to the starter island forge whenever you have a free moment, they only seem to sell a certain amount at a time and this can slow down energy cell progression. Get the travellers medallion and miners top as soon as possible Head to the rito newspaper asap to start that quest to save time returning to locations later, you can start this without having to do the rito main quest line When you find a dispenser on a sky island, make sure you use it enough times that the map shows all 4 items it dispenses
With the last tip, not every dispenser has 4 items, at least not all the time. For example, one if the dispensers in the tutorial area dispenses _only_ wings during that first visit to the area. General tip there is that if you throw in 5 charges and only get one type of item back, don't waste charges there trying to expand it's catalogue unless you've found all the other dispensers' full lists and are still missing items.
Puffshrooms have been so useful for big monster battles such as those at Fort Hateno and Lurelin village. Especially since I’m at a point where stronger enemies are coming into play and my armour hasn’t been upgraded yet. Throwing them is also a lot less time consuming than just constantly fusing it to my shields.
When I found a stalhorse in the depths and realized it isn't affected by the miasma, I was finally able to explore that area. So nice! But I learned a lot from this video, especially fusing things with my shield. I should build a skateboard next
The inverted map thing in the depths would have been soooo helpful for me doing the kohga quest yesterday. I'm amazed. I had already made the connection between the light roots and shrines but this is another level!
I can't even lie, I immediately went to Hyrule castle for royal guard claymores and started fusing random stuff to it while having it badly damaged, then I committed a genocide on the local lynels without even doing any of the dungeons yet, lol. Love this game.
There's something cool deep beneath the springs of Wisdom, Power, and Courage, but it's kind of easier to find the depths version than the surface version
Don't know if it's been mentioned yet but if you're in the depths and don't know where a lightroot is so you can light the area just switch the map to the surface and look for a shrine youve done already. The lightroots and shrines are connected so it's an easy way to find them in the depths. So when you put a pin where the shrine is on the depths map all you need to do is go there
It was mentioned in the first video, but it's also important to note that not every shrine has a lightroot attached. However every lightroot *does* have a shrine attached. So finding a lightroot you can go to the surface map and mark that spot cuz there will definitely be a shrine there.
I would have never thought to throw a ice flower in the water, then fuse the resulting Ice block. Genius. There's so much in this game that I have to file away ideas to try later so I can actually get stuff done. 😂
Here’s something about Puffshrooms! In the quest line Mattison’s Independence you can use the puffshroom to blind the man whose in charge of the motorized cart track. This will allow Mattison to easily climb onto the track and get down to Hudson construction so she can see her dad.
In addition to both the shield surfing and stal-horses tips, I discovered recently that you can shield surf on malice ! Might be useful when you don't have a stal-horse around
Props for the reference to the 80’s Zelda cartoon bomb+shield booster! Only a true Zelda fan would remember such a small detail from that timleless classic piece of art! 😂
Another Tip: If you want to farm Armored Porgy or Might porgy, just fly around coasts near Cape Cresia during day. Look for flocks of seagulls circling above sea water. They are right above big fish-schools that usually contain 30fish. One arrow fused with electric material and you can easily pick them up.
Mad respect to you for taking your time with the next videos. Respecting people who maybe haven't gotten to play at all yet, or are taking the time to beat the game, and also properly crafting lore and theory videos. Take your time, I'll still be excited for whatever you put out next!
For the rock octorocks, you don't have to wait until they spit your weapon out. Take aim while they're recovering your weapon's durability and when it sparkles (indicating that it has restored your weapon durability) loose your arrow. He'll drop the restored weapon.
Minor Spoiler thing I noticed. One little thing I noticed is whenever I wear a Devine Beast Helm or the Zonite Helm, one of the sages will wear the helm of the sage that spoke them them, nothing huge but kinda neat. :)
one of my favorite strategies ive figured out is attaching a puffshroom to a forest dwellers spear, which has a special aspect to it that makes it so consumable fuse attachments dont get used up, so it basically gives you an infinite puffshroom which you can use to super easily take out entire enemy camps with sneakstrikes
Ultrahand is so good for finding hidden things too, sometimes things are hidden by the fog or grass etc. and it makes it hard to see what is an object and what's the environment but ultrahand makes all the pickable things glow :D (those damn hyrulean herbs are so hard to spot)
You seriously just blew my mind with the cherry tree altar thing. My biggest annoyance with the game so far has been trying to find cave entrances. And I am now once again amazed at how they seem to have anticipated EVERYTHING.
As with the first game, there's areas of Hyrule that're so hot that they'll cause Link to lose health or even just catch fire -- but now, once you unlock the ability to shroud yourself in a water shield, you've got an emergency cool-down tool that even works in lava caves!
The ultrahand rotation reset is insane to me, like I've noticed immediately, it's literally written at the bottom of the screen when you're rotating something, but so many people apparently didn't see it yeah, the amount of streamers I've seen struggling for 30 seconds just to align something is truly mindblowing lmao. Loved some of the other tips anyway, another great video, Zeltik is gonna need to make like 50 more of them given how massive and deep this game feels but I'm all for it !
you can also use a weapon by it self and when it is about to break you can fuse it with any other material, this also restores the full durability of the weapons
The Staalhorse method to avoid the Gloom pools? I didn't think of that. I just climb the trees in the depths and Tulin's Gale to traverse safely as possible.
I found out about the stalhorse method by taking a picture of a stalhorse; their entry in Hyrule Compendium mentions that they can be used to safely ride over gloom pools.
A tip I recently learned that applies to BoTW too, when fighting a lynel, your weapon isn’t damaged when you mount it and hit it from its back, so try using your most powerful weapon at that moment
It couldn’t hurt to also mention the ultrahand + recall cheese you can pull to move objects across gaps or upward distances you weren’t meant to be able to. It solves a lot of puzzles in a lot of ways, and you can also fuse this with ascend to do some really crazy things like bypassing entire puzzles later on.
@@BananaGusFringFan Kind of. He mentioned you could do it to launch wings but he didn't mention the other practical uses for it. It's VERY handy in shrines if you're stuck with how to solve the puzzle and just wanna be done lol
Better than ultrahand + recall cheese is fuse + ultrahand + recall cheese: fire an arrow with a droppable item fused (most foods count), and you can attach stuff to said droppable item, then recall them (with the attached item) right back.
I love the Gleeok Frost Horn on a weapon, it does massive damage and freezes them when hitting again since the enemy is frozen it does a lot. It comes from the 3 headed ice dragons.
@@DSleezy117 it's not that obvious considering it's an enemy , some arenas have things such as fans , i've discovered that his blocks can br targeted on one fight that he threw my platform out of the arena and i've triggered recall
Recall is useful, though one can also pull a flux construct apart using ultrahand; pull away enough regular blocks and the flux construct will fall apart, pull away the weak-point block and the construct will immediately fall apart. I used ultrahand to defeat a Flux Construct III that I was definitely not prepared for (I was completing the maze in the Hebra region).
If you've got the resources, 2 explosive hits in (relatively) quick succession will break it apart as well. If you've got bomb flowers or cannons to spare it's quicker than using recall during the platform configuration, and is a good alternative to trying to use ultrahand on the "big cube" form, especially when fighting a Mk. 3
If you encounter gloom hands and are too weak to fight them, climb up on a wall right outside their reach and wait a while. They'll "die", and even drop some loot. (don't know if, or why, this is intended or a bug)
An Easter Egg I noticed and I've not seen anyone mention yet: When I found the Vah Medoh Devine Helm, I noticed Tulin looking different. I discovered that when you wear any of the Divine Beast's Helms, the corresponding Sage ghost assist will also wear a Sage Helm. I thought it was a fun detail.
The problem is, that it's called "Zelda's house" and there's only one bed. But you can enter the shed at the back of the house now, so my headcanon is, that Link has to sleep there.
My head canon is that Link just gave her the house because the castle was basically in shambles. And who would want to stay there alone anyway. Kinda sucks though because Link paid for that with his own money and I know for me personally I decorated the hell out of my wall with all the elemental claymores 😂
Yes. It wouldn't be the first time that the Translation Team messed up (see Ravali's character as a whole). The bed in that house is one of the few beds Link can sleep in for free. The other that I know of is the shelter one. Why would Zelda need a secret well to get away if she lives alone? And her secret well has Link's hair band....for no reason. She also plans to give him new armor as a secret gift.
I think that totk takes place in a 4th timeline, it takes place in the timelines that link defeated demise in the past and rather than the main timeline were demise was killed due to link and zeldas wish, I think this is a logical way of linking botw and totk to the rest of the zelda timeline(this also explains the retelling of oot and explains why rauru doesn't know of any hero or reincarnation due to demise curse being carried to a different timeline with the sws link
In case you haven't covered this yet, importing save data from your BOTW game to TOTK, you'll unlock your horses. (Edit here... as i type this im learning that my BOTW horses are already here in TOTK. No data transfer needed. My first comment was from reading articles... so maybe they had a day 1 patch? I dunno, whatever the case... all my BOTW horses are available upon arrival at the first stable)
The Amiibos all work, but they don't necessarily drop the same things. That said, apparently all of the Amiibo drops (other than special paraglider skins) can be found within the game, no Amiibo needed. You get most of them through optional boss battles (like is hinted at above re: the Lynels in the Depths Colosseum), the poe statues, or Kilton's brother.

Hope this helps those that are spending time trying to catch the best horse.
I was literally thinking that the stalhorse tip would be great in one of these after watching the first one and bam, zeltik dont miss. Cant wait for the lore videos
As an additional note for the Rock Octorock segment: it's not just melee weapons this works on. It also works on bows, and more importantly, shields. Which means the Hylian shield. For everyone that got it at the start of the game, it is fairly likely that it'll break at least once by the end of the game. More if yu regularly use it as a base for Zonai stuff or surf on it a lot. But instead of paying the full 3k rupees to replace it like in BotW, these guys will repair its massive durability for free *and* give it a buff. Like, say, *more* durability up. Also if yu feed a multi-shot Lynel bow to them and get attack up out of it, yu're pretty much set for life for a good bow now. An additional warning though: this doesn't work on amiibo weapons. It won't repair that almost broken Biggoron Sword yu got from OoT Link. But if yu find an amiibo weapon in the wild (via a chest), that non-amiibo version *can* be repaired.
As an addition, slight spoiler warning for things in the depths. Once you received an amiibo weapon/armour once, you can buy a replacement with poes from the statues. So you can replace those items easily.
Also good to note is something I saw someone else mention - amiibo weapons CAN be fixed if they're *material* for a non-amiibo weapon. So say you attach your amiibo sword to a sword you picked up in the overworld - it'll fix BOTH. Decent workaround for the amiibo weapons lol
Here's something I just learned because of something a bokoblin had - if you stick a bee hive to the end of your weapon, you won't be able to throw it anymore, instead it'll shoot out a swarm of bees

It's even better to kill them if you're forgetful and can't remember which ones you already used for repairs
I mean, they can still restore a rusted weapon to potentially a royal weapon, right?
@@lazyryan3766 no, that’s been replaced with this new thing
@@lazyryan3766 No. The weapon they give back never changes in TOTK like it did in BOTW. It just repairs it as it and rerolls a buff on it. If you feed them rusted weapons, it will always give back the same rusted weapon, full durability, with a buff.
do you need to kill the rock octoroks ?
I think the blood moon should reset then even if you don’t kill them
I think additionally to the puffshroom it's also worth mentioning the Muddle Bud as a powerful item, making enemies attack each other.
Muddle buds satisfy me to no end... especially in quests that involve tackling groups. Yes, little ants, fight each other >:)

Another tip for my fellow Lynel hunters that you might already know:
There is a Lynel in the depths under almost every stable. Granted they are armoured so come stacked with bomb flowers or any kind of stone breaking weapon
Another nice perk is that 4 banana 1 monster extract recipe works the same as BotW
RIJUS ASPECT 🤠
Thanks for the tip!
I know about a lot of the Lynel locations but I never connected that with the Stables. That... makes a lot of sense. The whole underground really is a mirrored version of the Surface. As above, so below.
Thanks for that I need to find a lynel for my monster sculpture collection in Tarrey town
@@CyrikytyThe Depths is the Dark World from A Link to The Past since the games story is about the Imprisoning War.
fusing a glider to a shield will make your shield jump high enough to go into bullet time for a moment from a flat surface. and unlike a bomb or spring, it’s reusable.
also, since you can fuse bombs to weapons, long throw throwing spears actually have a use now
Even better for the non-inventory explosives like barrels. Boom on a stick!
I think cannons have more explosive power and aoe than bombs. if you fuse them to weapons instead, you won't throw the whole weapon but rather be able to aim the cannon. Or you could make a movable cannon you don't have to waste durability, only battery that you can recharge.
11:10 for the cryonis thing, you can actually shoot ice objects into lava to make stone platforms
or carry a hydrant above your head as you walk
Blue Chuchu jellys work too

Just like in BOTW, you can use Ultrahand/Fuse to quicksearch the area for missed items or hidden chests under water.
Doesn't fuse have an abysmal highlight range?
They definitely need to boost how far it highlights around you and vertical height when lifing by 15%. The current range feels way too short and I feel like I'm constantly fighting it, and forget trying to raise up a part you want that has even something light on top of it. Suddenly it's the heaviest object in existence.
Another thing i found useful is using ultrahand to pull items to you. No more climbing wet cave walls just to get a bomb flower.
There's also the option of using auto-build to auto-harvest stuff on walls/trees.

This also comes in handy in an area where the map is malfunctioning. The surface layer goes static, but the sky and depths layers still work. If you know where your destination is you can preset a pin before entering that area and, since pins mark that spot on every layer, you can switch to another layer and follow the pin to keep from getting turned around.
How in Hyrule did I NOT notice this?? Despite havung dispelled the Sand Shroud by now, thank you
Here's one for consideration on your next video, perhaps!
I don’t understand how you replenish your stamina, can you explain in more details ? :o
@@brummelbar sure! If you are floating above a dragon using their updraft, release the glider and then quickly re-engage it. When I did that, my stamina would bounce back up to full every time.
@@brummelbar the updraft allows for replenishing stamina.
The dragon part is the horn (just like in botw) and if fused it will add the element of the dragon
I tried to make a photo of them but I can't seem to do it from a safe distance and as soon as I approach them they grab me (and Hylia are they terrifying)
Second question: do you know the conditions on which they spawn? I couldn't figure this out yet

Kind of a goofy trick: you can ascend through the Talus to get to the weak point faster
Oh my god, I feel like an idiot now for building ramps to get to the top of the Battle Talus.
@@pingaswingas1 It's kind of fiddly though imo and leaves you open to getting hit, quicker to either use a spring to boost onto the back or shoot a flame into the grass and paraglide the uplift.
also: a battle talus will only notice you if the bokoblins on top do. if you sneak up, get rid of an archer or two before they spot you, you can literally just slowly walk up to the talus out of view of the archers and ascend onto the structure while the talus is still in sleep mode. it does notice you if the archers spot you or you hit the weak point. also, the talus will forget that you are there if the bokos don’t see you anymore.
you can WHAT
This is particularly easy to setup by using Recall on the boulders they toss at you, since the Talus will kneel after getting hit by the boulder.
I really appreciate you sharing these tips. And as spoiler-free as possible. It's nice to get a leg up just a bit on areas or items I've encountered but haven't really dug into without losing the magic of having made a lot of discoveries on my own. Nicely done.
These are incredibly useful tips that I still did not know after over 70 hours of play time! The amount of secrets in this game is staggering.
Bro , touch grass.. you're the type of person that saying is made for .
If you are exploring at night and keep getting attacked by stal enemies, you can throw/shoot a dazzlefruit at them and it will instantly kill them.
Thank you, I hate those stal enemies at night! They always pester me when im doing something and I dont have a weak weapon to hit them with sometimes. My partner barely attacks and just stares or misses.
I keep a korok spear tipped with a dazzlefruit in my inventory just for taking out any stall creatures.
Do we know if this works for stalnox??
Does this work for the gloom filled stal enemies in the depths? Because those are very annoying
Thank you ❤
The immersion of the game is some of the greatest I have ever personally played. When I went to Hateno Town, I has blown away how what you find explains what Zelda and Link have been up to. I know I have other things to do, but I just cannot stop playing.
it's somewhat important to note that drawing a bow in mid-air does deplete stamina when not doing anything with it, but it does so extremely slowly
Using the scope in midair you still fall but at bullet time rate.
yeah looking at the depths map from above is super useful. Water is blocked off, named areas usually have camps or mines under them, it's really useful.
Also, stables have lynels under them in the depths
The auto flattening option for ultrahand is a amazing tip😊
A very minor one I've found nice, but haven't seen mentioned too much is that when you are diving into a chasm, you can drop a brightbloom while falling to see the terrain of where you'll land in advance. As long as you don't accelerate too much the brightbloom falls faster than you.
Zeltik is the type of fella to run off a cliff, float, look down and fall
Seems like he’d wiggle his fingers and say “dont mind if i do” upon seeing a box of donuts ngl
he goes to sleep with a night cap saying “snore mimimimi”.
Kind of guy to say Geronimo before jumping into a pool
Sounds like most Zelda players .........
Type of guy to say “I needed this” while hanging out with friends
I've been able to continually jump while walking through long stretches of gloom and not lose any hearts. Works good in a pinch when exploring.
You can glue things to venisons with the ultrahand. You can also attach them to arrows. You can shoot meat arrows at koroks or shrine stones from the place where they need to go to, and then revert the venison's path with an object attached to instantly solve many puzzles
Genius
Venison, as in deer meat?
@@burger_kinghorn It's like the tier 1 meat the lil steak you get from killing critters like smol wolves
There is a respawning dusk bow on a crumbled part of the tallest tower of Hyrule Castle.
I think I just went through the cave you're talking about.
Well no, once a weapon actually breaks you can not repair it anymore since it's gone. You mean when it is close to breaking you can repair it :D
@@sera-chan8194 Yeah that's what I meant, just teleport to the octorock when you get the "badly damaged" message but not actually break the weapon

I kind of low-key love that he's been 3 weeks without another video because it tells me that he's enjoying the hell out of the game probably coming up with video ideas and sooner rather than later we will get a pretty good sized content dump
Agreed. According to his Twitter he's been "cooking" something up so I'm very excited to see what he's got coming
Get the travellers medallion and miners top as soon as possible
Head to the rito newspaper asap to start that quest to save time returning to locations later, you can start this without having to do the rito main quest line
When you find a dispenser on a sky island, make sure you use it enough times that the map shows all 4 items it dispenses
I've found that the charges for sale at the forge and mine respawn about every 15 minutes.
There’s more forges in the game, but yeah try to revisit the ones you find to top up on energy cells faster
@@remhauck1577you can restock by sleeping or sitting by the fire until morning

Mini-map selection and Depths typography are going to help out a ton now that I'm about to set out exploring the depths
I thought that was a spoiler that he mentioned it, the depths being an inversion of the map above
So when you put a pin where the shrine is on the depths map all you need to do is go there
Has been mentioned in the first part of the tips :)
It was mentioned in the first video, but it's also important to note that not every shrine has a lightroot attached. However every lightroot *does* have a shrine attached. So finding a lightroot you can go to the surface map and mark that spot cuz there will definitely be a shrine there.
@@moonlitxangel5771 I think every shrine on the surface probably has a lightroot attached, not the ones in the sky though
@@moonlitxangel5771 Every lightroot on the surface does have a shrine attached. It’s only the sky ones that dont

In addition to both the shield surfing and stal-horses tips, I discovered recently that you can shield surf on malice ! Might be useful when you don't have a stal-horse around
hey zeltik, thank you for avoiding spoilers again in this video!! you're my favourite zelda youtuber !!!
Props for the reference to the 80’s Zelda cartoon bomb+shield booster! Only a true Zelda fan would remember such a small detail from that timleless classic piece of art! 😂

Thank you SO MUCH! This doesn't spoil anything for me and I wouldn't have figured half of this stuff out on my own. You're the best!!
Another Tip:
If you want to farm Armored Porgy or Might porgy, just fly around coasts near Cape Cresia during day. Look for flocks of seagulls circling above sea water. They are right above big fish-schools that usually contain 30fish. One arrow fused with electric material and you can easily pick them up.

Bro is cooking up something amazing, i can feel it
For the rock octorocks, you don't have to wait until they spit your weapon out. Take aim while they're recovering your weapon's durability and when it sparkles (indicating that it has restored your weapon durability) loose your arrow. He'll drop the restored weapon.
The simple tip of using ZL to automatically straighten an object, is much appreciated! This is going to save me so much time. Cheers.
Minor Spoiler thing I noticed.
One little thing I noticed is whenever I wear a Devine Beast Helm or the Zonite Helm, one of the sages will wear the helm of the sage that spoke them them, nothing huge but kinda neat. :)
I finally finished the whole map and the depths took forever, these tips in the video are life savers
patiently waiting for more Zeltik content.....
What I like this video more than the others is the way you slowly explain but get to the points. Keep it up !
I’ve found that Stone Talus hearts are excellent for use an ore smasher as weapons fused with them seem to have very high durability.
They're awesome! Also something very macabre yet satisfying about displaying your enemy's heart on your weapons too 😶😁
one of my favorite strategies ive figured out is attaching a puffshroom to a forest dwellers spear, which has a special aspect to it that makes it so consumable fuse attachments dont get used up, so it basically gives you an infinite puffshroom which you can use to super easily take out entire enemy camps with sneakstrikes
Ultrahand is so good for finding hidden things too, sometimes things are hidden by the fog or grass etc. and it makes it hard to see what is an object and what's the environment but ultrahand makes all the pickable things glow :D (those damn hyrulean herbs are so hard to spot)
I found it very useful to find chests hidden underwater.
So glad they kept something similar in TOTK, as I heavily relied on the same style of action in BOTW too 🎉
You seriously just blew my mind with the cherry tree altar thing.
If you fuse a wing to a shield your double jump is higher and allows you to do aerial shooting with the time slowdown.
you can also use a weapon by it self and when it is about to break you can fuse it with any other material, this also restores the full durability of the weapons
Where’s the Lore video Zeltik, I’m itching to know your opinion on it’s timeline placement
You already know he's cooking up the best theories known to man if he's been gone for a month. Can't wait!

Zeltik, I’m thirsty for TotK lore videos. Please upload something.
It's not cheesing when you're meant to be able to do that lol
It was in 1st part i think
Protip : Recall is your best shot when fighting flux constructs, specially during the platform form + box throw attacks
Holy crap. How have I not thought of this?
The Depths topography one was actually mindblowing
If you encounter gloom hands and are too weak to fight them, climb up on a wall right outside their reach and wait a while. They'll "die", and even drop some loot. (don't know if, or why, this is intended or a bug)
Good tip, but doesn't work on the hands in Korok Forest for certain reasons. But do it to activate bullettime and snipe these bastards.
I figured out to climb up a wall, but I had no idea that I could just wait and I thought I had to fight them.
Yup that happened to me
@@dorianwiesner4477 It did work on the hands on the way to korok forest though, but of course it wouldn't work on mission-specific hands.
An Easter Egg I noticed and I've not seen anyone mention yet:
When I found the Vah Medoh Devine Helm, I noticed Tulin looking different.
I discovered that when you wear any of the Divine Beast's Helms, the corresponding Sage ghost assist will also wear a Sage Helm.
I thought it was a fun detail.
Do you think link and Zelda live together in Hateno? Her diary is in his house, and two places are set at the table.
The problem is, that it's called "Zelda's house" and there's only one bed. But you can enter the shed at the back of the house now, so my headcanon is, that Link has to sleep there.
@@SmileyXY it’s a bigger bed than most of the other ones you see though, definitely thought was put into making it feasibly big enough for two
My head canon is that Link just gave her the house because the castle was basically in shambles.

Babe wake up, new Zeltik
I think that totk takes place in a 4th timeline, it takes place in the timelines that link defeated demise in the past and rather than the main timeline were demise was killed due to link and zeldas wish, I think this is a logical way of linking botw and totk to the rest of the zelda timeline(this also explains the retelling of oot and explains why rauru doesn't know of any hero or reincarnation due to demise curse being carried to a different timeline with the sws link
My only complaint with this phenomenal game is that you still can’t pet the dog.

In case you haven't covered this yet, importing save data from your BOTW game to TOTK, you'll unlock your horses. The Amiibos all work, but they don't necessarily drop the same things. That said, apparently all of the Amiibo drops (other than special paraglider skins) can be found within the game, no Amiibo needed. Hope this helps those that are spending time trying to catch the best horse.
Mahlon, the horse god, does not approve of this tip!
That ragdolling at 11:00 was freaking brutal, dude. Looks absolutely sick.
