Most other people will wear mask if they think they are coming down with a cold. Most of the world thinks America is weird for never wearing mask and they thought this even before the corona
@Jay Jones Not to attack you brother, but people who aren't scientists shouldn't just spit out numbers without actually doing any research. The 25,000 to 69,000 numbers cited on the CDC website do not represent "counted/confirmed" flu deaths per year; they are estimates that the CDC produces by multiplying the number of flu death counts reported by various coefficients produced through complicated algorithms. These coefficients are based on assumptions of how many cases, hospitalizations, and deaths they believe went unreported. In the last six flu seasons, the CDC’s reported number of actual confirmed flu deaths-that is, counting flu deaths the way we are currently counting deaths from the coronavirus-has ranged from 3,448 to 15,620, which far lower than the numbers commonly repeated by public officials and even public health experts. As of 6/24 we've counted/confirmed over 123,000 coronavirus deaths in the US. In MUCH less than a year. Which shows the real danger we're in. If you took the same algorithms used to calculate that 60k flu number you're talking about and applied them to COVID-19, the estimates would also be several times higher than the actual "counted" COVID deaths. Which is another way that people, like yourself, try to minimize the actual impact of COVID. People like Joe point at the lower death count compared to "projections" and say, "See? They overreacted." Not realizing that they're comparing apples to oranges, estimates to confirmed deaths. When we do compare ACTUAL confirmed deaths to actual confirmed deaths, the data is scary. And you would wear a fucking mask.

@@BratvaTV Okay so how do you make a vaccine? Please tell me with all of your knowledge that is better than the CDC how to go about preventing the spread of the virus. Oh wise one, what is the nature of coronavirus and how does it attack the body that makes it more devastating than the flu? Odds are when you go and look up the answers you are going to get them from people who are educated about it and therefore have a much better understanding than you would studying it for months. People go to school to study this for years and you're telling me that you know better than the people who get paid to research it and therefore spend most of their time learning about it. You yourself are not cultivating any first hand information and anyone whose research you are not capable of understading and verifying means that you are way out of your depth. I bet you listen to rando youtubers on the internet and thinks that amounts to research.

i will never say getting enough sun will not help with fighting covid. but i will say it isn't the only thing you need to stop the virus from spreading, surviving, mutating, becoming worse.
just because it doesn't look bad in the numbers doesn't mean it is perfectly safe to ignore certain preventative measures. like smoking and driving drunk, you may be less susceptible but you could kill someone else. and it may not seem like they were on the way out either.
the quicker this virus disappears the less chance it will get worse... I don't want this to become the flu, or I won't be able to be in public.

@Jay Jones I feel like we should wear masks because the majority of health experts are saying that it's the safest bet for lives moving forward. It's a new virus and they're treating it with extreme caution and I can understand that. Do you have distrust in professionals/scientific consensus?
@Jay Jones You sure about that buddy ??? You do realize that the world is bigger than the US, because in other countries they absolutely wear mask during flu season.
@Jay Jones is the same clown that would deride the government and insist this is another example of their uselessness had they determined there was no risk, did nothing and hundreds of thousands of people died because of it. Some people are just looking for something to be victimized by.

@@Torrque Let's think about this logically. The main reason for wearing a mask is the prevent the spread of covid if you are presymptomatic. The particles you eject from your nose and mouth, could contain covid cultures that can live on hard surfaces, like products in the store, for hours, or even days. The reality of the situation is that there is a large number of people who are carriers, but they do not exhibit symptoms. Mask work. Let's take New York State for example. We've seen some of the strictest mask and other covid countermeasures, and it is working. The transmission rate, hospitalizations, and covid deaths keep going down because of these measures.
Just wear the mask when you go out. Wash your hands PROPERLY, and use common sense. Please. I've been working on a covid unit since march. I have seen a lot of people die. This is not some benign illness. This kills people.

"This guy had a Panic attack while sitting on twelve elk" LMAO
I watched this video thinking it was going to be just another interview where Joe convinces someone about his views. Boy was I wrong. Good on you Bill Burr.
2.7k mouth breathers with no PhD’s disliked this video
Joe: I never rollerbladed
Bill: well you don’t have the body for it
Rogan looks a lot less cool when he is put in his place by someone wittier than him like burr
He looks like he's taking the piss out of talking bullshit when Burr is reacting weirdly to Joe Rogan.
There’s always a bigger or better dude
Almost everyone is wittier than Joe to be fair.
You realise joe was purposely trying to get bill fired up
lol just 2 guys fucking around, people trying to make drama out of this
Two guys panicking about a lung disease while huffing huge Cuban cigars 🤣

Say what you will. I never stated anything that is incorrect. Google is your friend. French healthcare workers are wearing nicotine patches. Are you a greek cardiologist?
Then shuuuuut the fuuuck uuuuup.
4:45 If you honestly believe that the government is here to help you need to reevaluate your life.
they are and they aren't
Corruption exists within all government, but to have a government is overall immensely beneficial for us. Even if, in your conspiracy-pilled view, you think they are just here to take advantage of us, the best way they could do that is by encouraging healthy choices no?
@@attaxiaffxi7033 Is that why they encourage healthy eating by approving of foods/drugs with harmful chemicals that cause cancer? Or they encourage productivity by over taxing the working class people and selling off their houses when they miss a payment? Or they encourage health by forcing every man, woman and child to take an experimental medication with no real studies? One day you will wake up and understand just how truly awful the government is and when you use braindead "logic" to defend them you'll see just how much a fool you are. They do not care about you, you are simply a way for them to make money. Get over it and start living/thinking for yourself and family.

It’s rumored that if Joe and Bill rub their heads together, a comic get their wings.
They could put their heads together and make an ass of themselves.
but he can't fly because one wing will be a lot heavier than the other one
thanks for making my day
Mot Doai get the hell outta here
I too, watched "Funny People" with Adam Sandler last night.
Bill is like fine wine - the older he gets the better he gets.
Wish he could see this. Accurate. he’s getting comfortable with himself more and more
Maybe
He's always been a grumpy old man yelling at clouds. Now it's just more appropriate.

Joe never makes a claim to truth. he only loves to exchange opinions in order to improve his understanding of things while giving guests the same opportunity. that's civilized conversation of the finest sort and actually meaningful.
@@MrJimShorts What happened to any publicity is good publicity? Rocking the boat gets more views so you get more bang for your buck on the JRE apperance. This is also why the twitter algorithm purposely pushes views contradictory to your own to the top of your feed, so that you are compelled to engage and generate a spectacle / publicity / draw more attention. And we all know that the real commodity social media trades in is attention and eyeballs.
I was pissed off they were forcing me to wear a mask. I am Still unvaxxed
Same here. And half of my family isn't on speaking terms with me because of it.
Wise choice.
As a healthcare worker, I have to thank Bill for finally just telling it like it is..
potentially passing an illness to someone more vulnerable isn't 'manly', it's just 'douchey'.
I'm glad to see Bill fitting into his observant & rational element, and moving away from the hot headed, loud, angry guy.
His calm, collected mindset and material seems like his right balance. He's one of the greats, can't wait to hear what else he has to say in the future.
Bill is still mad. It's just that he's mad for the right reasons.
True but you dont quarantine the healthy. Thats idiotic
Bill just listens to the CDCs advise and doesn't think about it. He can be funny as fuck, but listening to a vaccine companies ideas on safety should have room for questioning.
You're a healthcare worker so answer me this question. I was told that I need to wear a mask to protect others from myself that if I have the virus I wont spread it. So, if I go into a drug store and I have the virus and I have a mask on and I am the only one who has the virus and no one else does, then by that logic I would be the only one required to wear a mask b/c others are protected from me, everyone else could walk around the store w/o a mask b/c it wouldn't matter, right? BUT if I walk into a drug store and I do not have the virus but everyone else does and I am the only one wearing a mask then it wouldn't matter b/c I am not protected b/c no one else has a mask on and they have the virus so they can spread it to me even though I have a mask on. Is that correct?
It's idiotic to wear a face mask outside. But it's sensible to wear them in indoor crowded places. However, it should never be made a law.
Joe thought Bill would agree with him then pulls back lol
And this is one of the many reasons why I love Bill Burr. He makes fun of toxic masculinity and gets dudes to laugh at themselves ‘you’re so tough with your open nose and throat’ lmfao
He might refer to a general notion of the concept, but he would also reject the moniker in question as well as its more mainstream uses which are vapid and even intellectually dishonest.
Isn't it interesting? Especially because he lives with toxic masculinity within himself and seems to fight it every day. It's such an interesting dichotomy.
seriously , im so glad someone like bill isnt afraid to out this bs
Masculinity is not inherently toxic. Anything can be deemed toxic if presented negatively. Including femininity. If you really listen to Bill on the regular, he's quite the misogynist. They're comedians. Don't take them so seriously.
@distillingthyme Call it "male posturing", "toxic masculinity", etc. Almost without fail, unless you're operating within the narrow parameters of highly trained and disciplined individuals, when the testosterone levels go up then the IQ points go down. We revert to being cavemen purely out of evolution, we aren't that far along from living in caves and we're only a stone's throw from using soap with regularity.
What do Joe and Philadelphia have in common?
They went up against Bill and lost.
