  • Thunder Creek Mountain is a very weird log flume at Dorney Park. This one was built by Barr Engineering in the 1980s and it hugs a hill. This results in a tall, but super shallow drop at the end. And the rest of the layout has some elements more commonly found on river rapids rides.

Love this flume! The shallow drop is so elongated and goes on forever.

    Canobie Coaster would say:

If I ask you, do you like both the drop height and the shallowness?
    Canobie Coaster would say:
I like how tall it looks and is, just wish...

I like the height. Wish it were steeper.

Hey Canobie I have a question. I’m riding Iron Gwazi this spring, I’m gonna be riding in the back seat. Is it’s airtime better than Shockwave at SFOT?

looks like a recreation of the historic lumber chute lines.
No steep drop and close to a mountain/hillside
