Superb movie! Reminds me of my younger days with the East Chelmsford gang. We were the bad boys from East. We fought the gangs from North Billerica, Lowell and North Chelmsford. All in Massachusetts. I went to Nam & Korea in the service. Came home & went to Boston College and graduated as a Biologist. I'm 76 now. A lot of memories from this movie.
It's strange but a few of us need more than just a job, a wife and 2.5 kids. I was the same in my younger days but then life took a different path for me. I'm glad that it did but even in our older years there's still that little spark and that's why we watch stuff like this.
You seem to have had an amazing and interesting life. Sometimes, nostalgia can hurt. My father, in his older years, would no longer listen to 30's and 40's big band music, which I grew up listening to because he cared so much for it. Now, I've become the same way. I miss him so much.
Let me suggest for you the following two films, both of which I have read the novel. "The Wanderers", and "The Outsiders". If you've not seen these films, you will not be sorry once you have seen them.
When I read your comment I thought.. east Chelmsford, what chelmer village, the posh housing fighting north Chelmsford. Would be handbags at dawn can't imagine that's very exciting!? My dad always used to warn me about this film, I came here from a lord of the rings interview knowing Elijah was in a film called ‘hooligans’ and I didn’t know that another brilliant actor Charlie Hunnam. This film is wayyy better than I ever imagined from what I used to hear. Awesome movie and I wanna watch it with my mates at some point

I never got into the sport because I didn't have a dog in the race. Now because of the movie I do. West Ham is my team. Also the Redskins/Commanders. Sadly I'm from Washington DC. lol
And Charlie Hunnam was on a failed sitcom on Fox called "Undeclared" and then he appeared on "Queer As Folk". It's good to see him acting in his natural British accent.
Geoff Bell deserves more recognition in Hollywood. Phenomenal actor. If he could drop the thick London accent, I could easily see him starring in major pictures.
Yeah hes fantastic. Ive bumped into him at brixton academy couple years back. Ive shook his hand and asked where do i know you from? He smiled and casually walked off 😂
I’ve seen this movie around 30 times. The last roughly 15 times have been on this channel, thanks for uploading this. The quirks of the movie are part of its charm.
Shannon leaving the major/leaving the country with his baby and Matt doing nothing about is one of the most frustrating things I’ve ever seen in cinema history 🐮
I have to say Marc Warren is brillant. Seeing him in this role and thinking about Pvt. Blithe in Band of Brothers - he's one of the actors who can play any type of character credibly. Very much underrated.
@Joe Atkins still a better film. Green Street is quite cringy, if not from the fact the main character can't do a cockney accent to all the 'Major' shite. It tries to be too Hollywood, Football Factory is basically the life of a footy thug.
I was looking for that 2024 comment, big respect to Dan Mitchell ❤ I couldn’t find this movie anywhere but here. Wish you the best wherever you are my friend 🤝🏽
I was actually surprised as to how good this movie was! I only watched it after recently learning that Kurt Sutter wanted Charlie to play Jax on SOA, after watching him in this movie....and now I totally understand why!! Charlie truly thrives in these grittier roles! Overall, the movie itself was so good! I'll definitely watch it again.
Goddamn! I love it Dan! Thanks so much for posting this film! I searched high and low to find this film after watching it a couple times years ago, but was never able to find it on any of the apps. I love this movie.. I'm watching West Ham play right now. There's so many English stars in the movie. The streets "Mike Skinner" opened the door to some English hip-hop. Which led to this movie. Which led to Sons of Anarchy.. Anyway, cheers to those that grind to make a living in Jolly old England. And I'm forever blowing bubbles.. 💭💭💭 Pretty bubbles in the air.
Oh dear lol its a great film for what it is but one your favourite ? Its not even the best of the genre there's a few better . And as for movies full stop man there's thousands better but that's your opinion too each their own i guess
This film is astounding ! with outstanding direction by Lexi Alexander who gives the characters their true heartfelt performance specially by Hunnam who was extra ordinarily good, and the scene where the fight takes place was more than great. It was reminiscing of West Side Story. Rings true in every bit. This film is far-out.
Such a great storyline. One of my favorites. An inspirational movie that I will recommend to my teenage Son when he gets to that age. “STAND YOUR GROUND.”

Because of this film? Oh wow really?
Yeah it's TRUE.
He made both the movie and the tv series. I couldn't picture anyone else being Pete or Jax. C.H. nailed it.
...because he wanted an unrealistic, mincing, pretty boy who can't do accents?
And Charlie Hunnam was on a failed sitcom on Fox called "Undeclared" and then he appeared on "Queer As Folk". It's good to see him acting in his natural British accent.
Geoff Bell deserves more recognition in Hollywood. Phenomenal actor. If he could drop the thick London accent, I could easily see him starring in major pictures.
He can drop it and has for quite a few roles
Yeah hes fantastic. Ive bumped into him at brixton academy couple years back. Ive shook his hand and asked where do i know you from? He smiled and casually walked off 😂
Makes it even coller cause he actually supports Millwall
Charlie is awesome, don’t have no more words to describe my admiration to him. Great love to him personally and his acting❤️
Jax Teller
@@anthonycampos8057 Actually his real name is Charlie Hunnam
His cockney accent was so shit in this movie
I’ve seen this movie around 30 times. The last roughly 15 times have been on this channel, thanks for uploading this. The quirks of the movie are part of its charm.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that has seen it an unhealthy amount lol
@@Jack-nj9piHey man, it’s been 3 years since my last comment, where I could mostly recite the movie before.. I got it verbatim now 😂😂.
@@ryanswango8786 lol and we keeping this bad boy alive for the years to come 🍻
@@Jack-nj9pi absolutely! I’ll talk to ya in ‘27 😂😂
Shannon leaving the major/leaving the country with his baby and Matt doing nothing about is one of the most frustrating things I’ve ever seen in cinema history 🐮
I have to say Marc Warren is brillant. Seeing him in this role and thinking about Pvt. Blithe in Band of Brothers - he's one of the actors who can play any type of character credibly. Very much underrated.
And the other dude was also in Band of Brothers. The Jewish private. Joe something. Spoke German.

B.o.B is a yearly watch for me.
Ive always loved this movie, it’s so hard to find it in America too. I had to buy the dvd used, you’re a legend for posting this online 🙏🏻
Iam in 2020 watching this film it’s so good
Football factory is way better.
@Joe Atkins still a better film. Green Street is quite cringy, if not from the fact the main character can't do a cockney accent to all the 'Major' shite. It tries to be too Hollywood, Football Factory is basically the life of a footy thug.
@Joe Atkins this may be funny to laugh 'at'. Danny Dyer is fucking hilarious in FF.
I wouldn’t say that coz you got one like
But it’s you’re opinion
I was looking for that 2024 comment, big respect to Dan Mitchell ❤ I couldn’t find this movie anywhere but here. Wish you the best wherever you are my friend 🤝🏽
I was actually surprised as to how good this movie was! I only watched it after recently learning that Kurt Sutter wanted Charlie to play Jax on SOA, after watching him in this movie....and now I totally understand why!! Charlie truly thrives in these grittier roles! Overall, the movie itself was so good! I'll definitely watch it again.
The madman actually uploaded the whole film. Thank you
Charlie Hunnam's accent is absolutely hilarious
In every single film he's in. Totally shit actor.
Worst mockney accent ever.
So is yours you fuckin pleb head
Considering that he's really a geordie it could have been lot worse 😂
Queer as folk
Thank you for making it free one of my favorite childhood movies
You need some award or something mate cheers for posting the whole movie you absolute legend!!!
“Pete Dunhams life taught me there’s a time to stand your ground, his death taught me there’s a time to walk away.”

Goddamn! I love it Dan! Thanks so much for posting this film! I searched high and low to find this film after watching it a couple times years ago, but was never able to find it on any of the apps. I didn't want a physical copy of the film but a digital one; however, it seems the U.S. completely stopped supporting it.
This was an amazing ride of a movie, great characters and devotion to their Firm. I’m a huge fan now. Thank you for posting sir! Like every crew that ever was we all grow up and miss our homies we ran with.
"They fly so high and reach the sky" pretty bubbles in the air ....

The sad part about this film is where Shannon leaves Steve forever after he tried to save Matt from a world of shit
Didn’t think it would even have a scene from the film but it does ur an actual legend u should get an Oscar for making this free too ppl
This was one of my favorites movies ever! I’ve haven’t watched it in years, and here it is, thanks!!
This movie always reminds me of my grandpa even thought I never met him, makes me proud to support chelsea after all the stories I heard of him
Shut up #COYI its clearly about west ham
wouldn't be to proud Chelsea have a good team and all but there support is shit home and away never make any noise been to the Bridge 4 times by far the quietest ground I've been to excluding friendlies there away support is quite shit as well they bring the numbers most places just not the noise

Elijah Wood acting tough is hilarious
It's not a phase dad, I'm a football hooligan now 👶
A movie about the fans for the fans. Nice for the attention to be shifted to those that keep the game alive
If there's one thing this movie taught me, always stand your ground & don't let another opponent team bring you down!!! Fight till the end!!!
Well then your dense aren’t you.
The point is that nobody gains anything from senseless violence. Some survive, some get out, but No one wins
Didn't learn much then did you?
@josephcarr2192 I doubt you have any clue about the football scene in the 70s do you
Damn, just stumbled into this flick, nice job to all involved, I'm a Scott, URQUHART, moms maiden , Detroit Bred,1960 Cali Fed, present...seen some s.hit ,this story held up, great angles and lessons...much respect...R
You have done a service which should award you a status among the gods on Mount Olympus. For me to be drunkenly reminiscent for this film with my buddy at 1:30 in the morning, and rewarded so graciously, you deserve the praise and admiration of almighty Zeus himself. Thanks my guy. You're a legend.
The proper title should be "Lad"
This is my 6th time watching this, brilliant, never gets old
6 is lightweight.
Dan Mitchell you are the best!!!!! Been looking to watch this movie for yearsssssss. It’s impossible to find anywhere. One of my all time faves. May the gods rain blessings on you and yours
This movie is fantastic thanks for the upload
Pete’s death is so sad that it almost made me forgive Charlie Hunnam’s cockney accent 😢
Love his accent 👍🏻
Pete sacrificed his own self for his brothers family. He knew if he didn't draw that goon off of the car that Matt and his sister wherein they would be in real trouble, maybe dead.
It's fucking ridiculous in parts: six of them smash the shit out of 50 man utd fans ; it just don't work like that and why are man utd chanting " who the fuck are man utd'

This was the first movie I watched with Charlie hunnam when I was literally 11 or 12. I’m 24 now and It’s still one of my all time favorites. Then I got into sons of anarchy which is one of my favorite shows. He’s a brilliant actor.

The Firm (Gary Oldman version)
Still a decent film though, apart from the dodgy accent.
2021 still one of my all-time favorite movies
Oh dear lol its a great film for what it is but one your favourite ? Its not even the best of the genre there's a few better .
And as for movies full stop man there's thousands better but that's your opinion too each their own i guess
Petes death gives me a feeling of missing someone and wanting what you lost back idk why
I'm still forever blowing bubbles in 2024. Amazing that this is on RUclips
One of my favourite movies growing up! A masterpiece! 👍👍
Such a great storyline. One of my favorites. An inspirational movie that I will recommend to my teenage Son when he gets to that age. “STAND YOUR GROUND.”
So awesome, I absolutely loved this movie. Thank you for putting this on here.
I'm still surprised this movie is still up and not taking down by youtube I'm watching Sons Of Anarchy right now it's awesome I get to watch this movie with Charlie Hunnams younger years he was a badass in this movie
