We both like Chris Christie and would vote for him if he becomes the primary pick for the GOP. “Cuts in government spending” is a nice way of saying cuts in SS, Medicare, and yes, education. Christie is pure Republican and wants to cut middle class spending rather than raise taxes on million and billionaires and corporations who and which pay little in taxes. SCOTUS just blocked student loan forgiveness. Every program designed for the middle class is being attacked or wiped out, but the wealthy still pay very little comparatively to help the middle keep the programs that help the most.
And the school voucher program will most likely benefit upper middle class and wealthy parents. Diversity in lower and middle income public schools will drop.

The idea is to cut taxes on wealthy families who can afford private schools, and leave the masses who can’t afford private schools in dilapidated public schools. This has been the result of every Republican President since Reagan, who they tout as their greatest. Reagan, who I did vote for the first term, also destroyed corporate pension plans and pushed retirees into 401k’s, which is a disaster. He also managed to run the debt up 176% in just 8 years. I’ve been saying for weeks now that when Donald is led away in leg irons, Christie is going to look like the one sane guy left standing. Every other candidate will have spent so much time pandering to the congenitally stupid GOP Trump base, that Chris will seem like the only reasonable option.
Willing to own up to mistakes, telling the truth whether people want to hear it or not, laying out his vision for the country, and doing it all in a convincing manner. This is a man I would trust to serve as President of the United States. We need people who are willing to lay out their experience and how it will inform the way they carry out their duties as President. Chris Christie has not only done this, but he has shown why his experience will be uniquely beneficial when it comes to getting things done. With this in mind, he is not perfect. His social media presence needs to be more engagement-focused, because I have yet to see any contact method, a merch store, or other means of interacting with the campaign. There are many questions he has not yet answered for, i.e. details on the Bridgegate scandal, closing the beaches during a shutdown while going himself, etc. I also want to see more of the specific policy goals he wants to achieve and how he plans on achieving them, but even with all of this in mind, he has been off to a great start.

The sensible, moderate Republicans are scarce, but Christie is among them. I'm a proud Progressive but like his authenticity. This, coupled with his experience and sensibility makes him the best GOP candidate for POTUS, by far!!! If chosen as the nominee, then I believe it'll be a wrap for Biden... Independents/swing voters will be more important than ever.

“Cuts in government spending” is a nice way of saying cuts in SS, Medicare, and yes, education. Christie is pure Republican and wants to cut middle class spending rather than raise taxes on million and billionaires and corporations who and which pay little in taxes. SCOTUS just blocked student loan forgiveness. Every program designed for the middle class is being attacked or wiped out, but the wealthy still pay very little comparatively to help the middle keep the programs that help the most.
And the school voucher program will most likely benefit upper middle class and wealthy parents. Diversity in lower and middle income public schools will drop.

The idea is to cut taxes on wealthy families who can afford private schools, and leave the masses who can’t afford private schools in dilapidated public schools. The privileged kids will command the top end of the work force while everyone else continues to struggle. This has been the result of every Republican President since Reagan, who they tout as their greatest. Reagan, who I did vote for the first term, also destroyed corporate pension plans and pushed retirees into 401k’s, which is a disaster. He also managed to run the debt up 176% in just 8 years. Yet, the middle continues to vote against its own interests.

I’ve been saying for weeks now that when Donald is led away in leg irons, Christie is going to look like the one sane guy left standing.
Every other candidate will have spent so much time pandering to the congenitally stupid GOP Trump base, that Chris will seem like the only reasonable option.
Willing to own up to mistakes, telling the truth whether people want to hear it or not, laying out his vision for the country, and doing it all in a convincing manner. This is a man I would trust to serve as President of the United States. We need people who are willing to lay out their experience and how it will inform the way they carry out their duties as President. Chris Christie has not only done this, but he has shown why his experience will be uniquely beneficial when it comes to getting things done.
With this in mind, he is not perfect. His social media presence needs to be more engagement-focused, because I have yet to see any contact method, a merch store, or other means of interacting with the campaign. There are many questions he has not yet answered for, i.e. details on the Bridgegate scandal, closing the beaches during a shutdown while going himself, etc. I also want to see more of the specific policy goals he wants to achieve and how he plans on achieving them, but even with all of this in mind, he has been off to a great start.

I'm hearing that the economy has improved under Biden. Unemployment is very low. I've heard several times from Christie that things are bad under Joe Biden. So which is it? Are we doing well, according to Ben Meiselas or doing poorly, according to Chris Christie? Would Mr. Christie please be specific about what policies of Biden he disagrees with and why. You're hearing things have improved because they have, compared to when he got in office which was right in the heart of COVID. So things were always going to improve to a certain extent. I don't think Biden deserves much credit for that.

Now, I realize that politicians say anything to get elected so what they say doesnt translate into what they do once in office.
