The Latest Galaxy Book 4 line doesn't look much different than last year's laptops and that's a good thing. Samsung has been making good incremental changes to already good products.

I told myself “man, I really hope there’s a Brad video today” then saw the notification pop up saying there’s a new video 😂😂

  • @fix0the0spade

16GB RAM in an almost $2k laptop? 32GB DDR5/5600 is about $120 at retail, there's no excuse for less than 32GB on a 'pro' level machine, especially if it's soldered in.

  • @SunFinCol

Too much money for a mediocre notebook. For 2499 euros (that's how much I paid for my SGB 4 Pro 360) there are significantly better alternatives. Therefore, think carefully about whether you want to buy such an overpriced device. Unfortunately, I missed my return deadline and unfortunately have to keep the SGB 4 Pro 360 or sell it at a loss.

  • @andyH_England

No 32GB RAM option on the Pro360 will be a deal-breaker for many pro users (along with no dGPU). Samsung has done this to upsell to the Ultra but that has no pen support. The 360 should not be compared to Macbooks as they do not offer touch let alone pen support! So, comparisons with Dell, HP, LG, and Lenovo would be sensible. It is a premium laptop so the price as expected is very high but comparable though nearer the top-end of premium 2-in-1s rather than the cheaper end. Should be up there when choosing a 2-in-1.

A samsung ultra without s pen support is a fake ultra

i have a Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 for 2 years and is going strong. I put a matt screen plastic protector but it started to eat the nib. Searching on the internet i found out that the Spen and the Wacom One(the one with display, in black and white) has the same pen tech and they work with each other. So i have use that pen from ONE with the plastic matt screen protector. It still has some resistance but not so much because the nib is a hard plastic. But it has been good so far and the screen will never get scratches.

  • @Artofizanagi

At that price Sammy could’ve done 32gb instead of 16 😂

  • @ajwalker4416

Wow! Really nice. However, $1,900?!? 😮 Brad, have you thought about pitting the top-of-the-line Tab S9 against this laptop from an artist's perspective? I've been really leaning towards using my Samsung tablet as a laptop replacement especially when paired with the Dexnor Magic Style Keyboard case. As an artist, I'd rather have the flexibility of a tablet for art than I need a laptop that I use for "productivity" every so often.

Have you had the chance to explore other 2-in-1 laptops, such as the ROG Flow X16 or MSI Summit E16? As a 3D artist, I'm seeking a 2-in-1 laptop with robust GPU power, and I've noticed these models boasting an RTX VGA, which seems ideal for my profession. However, I'm uncertain about the quality of the stylus pen. I hope you have the opportunity to review 2-in-1 laptops with high-performance GPUs. :)

  • @ragecandy

It would be awesome if it had video in so you could use it as a drawing tablet when the specs get outdated

  • @kurai_sen7065

I got the GBP2 Pro 360 on your recommendation and I love it so much! Not only is it a great drawing tool, it handled my research too (which was a ton of data)! My only gripe was that the screen has cracks from travelling, but that can be remedied by buying a good case before taking a flight or so. All in all, I love it, and I'm curious about the newest version!

  • @user-kn6mf5cx8g

Awesome. There is a lot of info here! Thanks

  • @coinopanimator

You can rotate the screen so the blower is at the top. Which is what I do. You can also replace the SSD. It's a standard nvme.

  • @TurboManTom

That was a looooong sponsor spot lol

Hey Brad! This was helpful. Also, what's your opinion on Minis forum V3... Right now, I have narrowed my upgrade down to galaxy book pro 4, Surface pro 10 but very tempted to see how AMD hails for this space (of digital art) ... Or perhaps it's more of an option as a gaming tablet pc than a drawing one.

  • @cammiluna

I have the non-pro of last year's model and I love it the small size and lack of numeric keypad. I have mine paired with a shortcut remote and Lamy EMR pen and draw on the couch or at cafes a lot!

  • @justfindit

Hey Brad, I really like the Galaxy tab and the s pen. Cuz the s pen there is just so good and unmatched. Does the s pen with the book 4 work just as well? Or bc it's windows, maybe it's not the same and has some lag? Cuz I'm thinking about potentially selling my s9 ultra to get this instead

  • @JamesWilliam70

looks great as a portable sketch device. I would be worried about damaging the keyboard in 360 mode on my lap though... If they made this like a surface pro with the guts behind the screen instead of the keyboard it would be allot more versatile for lap sketching.

  • @vladanzervanov4146

First, thank you so much for your review. I have Samsung S8 Ultra, and I'm super happy with it. What I miss (as it is an android) is working in Rebelle 7. That is the reason I'm considering to buy Book4 Pro 360. Did you try Rebelle on it? I'm asking because Rebelle is resource intensive.

  • @rivenharlow

    YES!!!!
