I play this game every week and I had no idea this was a thing. Bungie need to seriously do a better job at telling us these things.
I've never seen them do something like this before. It makes me think it's just another bug, on top of the dozens of other ones.

I remember running this mission at the start of the season I thought it was a run it once and never again did not know bungie adds to it weekly.

Luckily you only have to do the boss fight the first time through. And if uou miss a week you dont have to load back in for eat new piece

I don't have the mission did the campaign on Legendary with 2 characters why is it abandoned quest I need to finish?

They’ve told us about this before. They even told us they were releasing this like one week after lightfall came out.
Guys, they hid it from us because we told them we wanted more secrets. Plus, it’s not that big of a deal
