I bought my evo2 pro for ,the lowlight and super night performance. It still holds true that it out shines every dji drone, including the m3 and inspire 2. I as well as u and other have seen every m3 video at night and lowlight, so far, I'm not impressed. I will get me a evo lite, or evo 3, something again that will kill every dji drone again. In my opinion dji is playing follow the leader. The only thing that dji has in the evos are better flight characteristics, and now in real life 4 more minutes flight time. Video wise the evo2 pro is just good as the m3, but the evo2 pro is the the night beast ,no noise reduction needed. How about them cowboys. lol hell too the yea

Just bought my first ever drone the pro evo 2 v3 with 6.8 rc. should be arriving tomorrow. It was recommended to me by a RAF pilot and my professional trainor for the course which will be doing in February. The version 3 apprently has been upgraded and much better than the v2. Either way looking forward to using it
Great comparison video! I love my EVO but like what I am seeing from the Mavic 3. Just can’t justify the purchase right now, plus the cost difference of 750 bucks in my particular case makes me love my EVO even better! Was surprised to hear about the EVO having issues with stability, which it usually excels at, but looks like you got that sorted with a compass calibration.
It was a compass related issue. It's fixed. I was wondering the same at first but it's all OK now.
Great video guys, I'm hoping the EVO iii next year will address the downfalls of the EVO ii.

I still don't see a $500 difference and the geofencing uggg. The features yet to be released on the M3 may be the edge, dji kills it with intelligent flight modes vs Autel. I'll be waiting for an E3/other hopefully back around the $12-1500 range 🤞
5 bills, that's a lot. I can get the evo II and the the mini 2 or nano+ (for a few $ more) and have the best of both worlds.

Yes,thats is true,i can now buy used autel evo 2 pro for about 700 € and mavic 2 pro still have good price...autel evo ist so underrated Drone...wenn you only check by the drone sales ads hier im Germany itd mybe 3-4 autel drone and everyting the rest ist Dji Drones...people just do not know for a Autel Drone...
We use the Autel for high winds. Rated for 42mph winds. So stable in those conditions
I preferred the Autel Evo 2Pro 6K
The EVO image quality looks so much better. I am rethinking my next drone and it does not look like the Mavic 3.

For photography the more narrow field of view of the evo is better for me, from your video the Evo II colors are better, I'm waiting for the evo III

Hi Guys another great comparison video. I'II stay original with the better definition quality from the 2 year old Evo II 6k drone.
Really is this the best Dji can do in terms of Image quality from a Mavic 3 2021 drone . yes the flight characteristics may be better on the Dji
Products as I do use the Air 2s . Evo 2 pro 6k definition & colour much better hands down.

Hi, IMO the EVO ll is still the better deal compared to the Mavic 3. Refurbished EVO ll 6k costs $1299 and the 8k costs $1099. The video comparisons I have seen show better contrast detail for the EVO ll compared to the Mavic 3, a lot like HDR. The Mavic 3 doesn't do missions and currently doesn't support many features included with the EVO ll. I don't buy cars with a wheel missing. The same goes for drones.
Big issue with refurb EVO IIs is they are V1 not V2 drones.

@@808-Stat3 Yes it is a solid drone for sure, however long term it is a consideration, how will support be handled Autel has not made that clear, and smart controllers may not be available long for V1. Not saying it is a bad choice, but its a consideration.
Hey 808, I think Ken meant "Enterprise" when he referenced the V2. V2 doesn't have the CF arms or bigger props/motors. Just dual-band. No other difference to V1. That said, I wish I had waited a few weeks longer and grabbed the Enterprise. It would have only been $150 more than the V2 Rugged Bundle + 2 more batteries + charge hub, with V2 Smart Controller I bought. Then again, you can't even order those big propeller spares yet. That is typical Autel! PS I spent $4200 on M3 Fly More & RC Pro. NOT even the Cine. Can we say eye watering pricing? geez.
I've used my EVO II Pro primarily for mapping for a year and half. The sensor and lens combo is pretty sweet for mapping. The biggest issue I've had with the EVO is that when mapping, in windy conditions, this drone struggles mightily against head winds. It slows down to a couple m/s when it should be able to maintain 10m/s. Very frustrating. My feeling, having built a lot of drones, is that this is a software issue. But because Autel, like DJI, is more interested in selling drones, than in investing is software development, I am not hopeful that it will ever be fixed (along with a multitude of other issues). I'm invested in the EVO II so will be sticking with it for now, but for my next purchase who knows. Or maybe I'll get motivated and build a drone to meet my needs.
From watching your video, unless one is making serious $$ selling video, I don't see any reason why anyone would upgrade from a Mavic 2 Pro or an EVO II pro to the Mavic 3. It doesn't make any sense. IMO DJI has made their life potentially difficult by only incrementally improving features on the Mavic 3 Pro. I guess being able to film at higher fps for those that film in 4K might be useful. You guys should put a list up on the screen on reasons for upgrading to the Mavic 3 Pro and if it makes financial sense if you already own Mavic 2 Pro or EVO II Pro.

That sucks. It's a pretty good drone. Got one. I ll be using it and then pumping out some videos. I still love my E2P more at this point. The M3 has to convince me at this point.

Definitivamente comparto mucho las ideas de ustedes 2 y la de muchos comentarios de que DJI se equivoco con el precio del mavi 3 en sus tres versiones, ademas un drone que todavia esta demaciado inestable y que las persona que lo tiene deven de tener mucho cuidado para no correr riesgos como le ocurrio a Carlos felix con su vuelo de 6 km casi lo pierde , y el compañero del canal originaldobos en el campo de cine sus sensores no funcionaron y no detetaron obstaculo en parte inferior ...En conclucion creo que AUTEL ROBOTIC con sus drones y en especial el EVO 2 pro es una de las mejores opciones hasta el momento precio , calidad, tecnologia y lo mejor respaldo de la marca hacia sus clientes...Saludos a los dos y que buenos canales tienen y son muy autenticos como personas los dos y no como algunos youtubers que por el solo hecho de que les envian los drones de prueba hablan y hablan maravillas de x drone , sin tener el cuidado y encuenta al consumidor..saludos otra vez y un abrazo desde COLOMBIA::::

Just purchased another EVO 2 Pro rather than the Mavic 3. The kicker for me is the geofencing and over protection DJI forces on users. I will run this E2P until an EVO 3 comes out. I know DJI has good gear and reliable software for the most part. Should they ever take the stance of putting the onus on the pilot, I may reconsider. Until then, the E2P is my bird of choice. In all the flaws she has, the one she does not have is restrictions. I for one choose freedom over tyranny and oppression! All else can be corrected in Post. I am sure DJI will do good w/this release of the Mavic 3.

Of all the comparison videos of these two drones, the fact that the evo 2 is alot older than the Mavic 3 drone. The autel is still very much on par, which I think says alot about how far ahead it was when released. If autel brings out a v3 that eould be an interesting comparison.

I love the 4/3 sensor but am waiting for the Autel EVO 3 with the 3/4 Sensor. Hell, I already have the EVO II v. 1 with the smart controller and have ordered the Nano + so I see no reason to change now.

Looks like you guys had fun doing this comparison. Did you happen to weigh the two different batteries and compare size. IIRC the E2P is 1100 gr vs the 900 for the M3. I don't know why the E2P struggled in the wind. Most of them are so rock solid and well known for it.
I think my compass was off. Did a calibration. today in heavy winds solid like a rock

Tuned with the right prop , motor kv and amp draw .... it can make a big difference in flight times.

Wendell or 808, would you mind explaining a little more about this tuning you mention? I'm seriously considering getting the E2P and want to make sure I get the most out of it that I can.
Do you think the wind issues could be due to the fact that your drone has thousands of hours of run time on the motors? I wonder if a newer Evo 2 would be able to handle the wind better.
I am currently working on a video that includes the info as well. Due to switching locations my compass needed calibration. It fixed it.

That's a good point ! Having thousands of hours on those brushless motors will eventually wear out those bearings just like having a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle with 30k miles compared to one with 300k miles ... it's time for a overhaul. It's might be causing lots of tiny vibrations effecting it's sensors causing it to have a hard time calibrating normal function... replacing the bearings or motors should help.

808-State...You owned the E2P for nothing and your flights are ZERO as you don't know that Evo2Pro HAVE CONTROLS FOR SHARPENING AND CONTRAST!
So next time when you decide to kiss DJI ass...just be natural...
For your information:
The best settings at Autel Evo2 Pro is already known to be Sharpness -1/ Contrast -2 / Saturation 0 or -1 depending on environment...it gives you a super nice salvage of dark shadows in order to edit it.
Try to adjust these with M3....oh...you cannot? why? Because they are missing? :))))) and will not be there, DJI confirmed this.

I did adjust sharpness and I still believe the Image of the Autel Evo 2 Pro is better than the DJI . I did not have to kiss anybody's ass . I bought it with my own money and these impressions were after the first day of flying with Ken from OriginalDobo. I have more Videos coming out. Appreciate your input and feedback. @@808-Stat3 you presented EVO2PRO and compared with Mavic 3 without presenting all drone capabilities. Also sharpness can be adjusted so the affirmation that is too sharp is a hoax, as this is why you can control it.
In no video was presented the capabilities of LOG profile at 800 and 1600 ISO, also you have a very powerful profile for night scenes: 4k HDR ISO 1600 with sharpness - 1, contrast - 2, sat 0...
This profile combined with Neat filter on Generic at 16% and jitter Extended at 15% will give you a very nice image with boosted light.
So... My opinion remains as all this video was for Ken to make a little noise related to Mavic 3...
I own both DJI and Autel, so I do not care what is better, but I like a review to be made using all the advantages from each drone... And this was not.
PS. Never test two drones in Auto, show us what is the MAXIMUM capability of the drone... We never use AUTO and the users of this drones will never use Auto profiles.
@@geodrone7643 As I said before. These were my first impressions. I got to fly both a lot more since I bought the Mavic 3 a few days ago and there are more videos coming. I don't use auto at all and actually don't really care for intelligent flightmodes either. I just review things the way I use them and reflect that in my Videos. Is it possible to manually adjust the sharpness and saturation?
Yes it was all the way turned down on the Evo2Pro. The color can be adjusted as well. I filmed in standard color profile but LOG is also available
A tough one for someone who bought a MP2 almost 3 years ago, want to update and been looking to forward to update. But now wondering the gap in gains dont seem enough. Maybe just sit on the MP2 for a bit longer. Evo3 may be a leap?
The m3 and evo2p are both upgrades in image quality towards the m2p . The m3 maybe even more so since it has 4k 120fps. I am playing around with alot of settings. Video soon to come. The m3 is a great tool
@@808-Stat3 Thanks, The 4k 120 a winner..didnt know that. Still might just wait a bit to see if firmware takes care of some issues. the combo is $4500 in New Zealand and $3400 for base price. So need things to be right

The Evo 2 V2 is the exact same as V1 unless you're talking about the enterprise one...

I have been flying my evo2 pro for 6 months now, and having problems with the 2 buttons underneath the remote. I keep clicking them.
What do you guys use to help avoid these buttons?
I remember one time seeing a clip on RUclips about an accessory you could buy that helps.
Do you know of this? If so can you point me as to where I can get a couple

Skyfire Aerial mounting kit. Setup within 2 minutes. 2 thumb screws . Button bumper plate . Never had an issue anymore after that. Been using it for over a year now and upgraded to having all controllers with skyfire tech. M2p . E2p and mavic3 now all have skyfire mounts

@@fanisvitouladitis6663 dji always had and still seems to have a crushing black colors issue. My wife bought me the M3 as our anniversary gift and I will equalize the settings and fly both drones at the same time of day with same conditions as comparison

That’s what ai was thinking. M3 can zoom up to 28x digitally which is insane. Not sure how well the Evo zooms, if at all.

M3 is objectively better, hands down. Don't bother buying the Evo 2, or anything from Autel for that matter.
M3 and E2P are very similar with Pro 's and Con 's on each. Have to say though the M3 is an impressive piece of Tech.
