- Hartmut Feyhl left AMG after 15 years to start his own tuning company, RennTech, which is now one of the most respected AMG tuners in the world. His products range from simple software upgrades to full racing builds based on AMG street cars. We take his new, 700 horsepower CLS63 for a spin and establish a new benchmark for luxury sedans: must be able to do burnouts while moving at highway speeds.

I have a CLS55 AMG and it leaves most cars on the freeway in the dust... I can't imagine how this 700HP RennTech AMG would be. This car is way over the top but I love it.

friend of mine has a Kleemann tuned 820-850 hp (1400 nm) CLS 63 AMG fucking crazy car! he claims it easy does 370 km/h (230 mph) maby more. Love Mercedes, love AMG and love the guys who tune them Renntech, Kleemann, Carlsson, Brabus. just to name a few.
I worked for Mercedes for years and yes that is one badass car!

The Panamera Turbo S is a brilliant car, and if you need the AWD to get through your winters where you live, a great choice. But it's $174,000 (base) and $197,000 (as tested). The CLS63, even with the RennTech upgrades, is less than $140,000 and far more exciting to drive.
it's for aesthetics, as well as reduced lift at high speed. The parts are functional.
When we tried to discuss filming with UGR, the short version is they were the first tuning company we spoke to who was actually rude to us. Everyone else has been very nice, regardless of what we've said about their cars.

This car is currently participating in the Goldrush Rally. It now has 833hp and 980 torque.
neighbor has a 750whp cls63 amg. i thought its just wrapped in blue and bsically stock. but today before going out he asked me about my ls460 nd asked me what im pushing cuz it looks mean. i laughed and said its stock just bagged prolly pushing around 300whp. i asked him how much his merc is pushing and he told told me he dynod at 750whp. he told me his boy has ls460 pushing 500whp supercharged nd told me he can get me a hook up i told em ima prolly get rid of the ls for the new rc f. idk wtf he does. never working. up until 5am. prolly races or something. he has a bunch of mini bikes and a s2000 pushing 350whp. guys fucken crazy.

Thomas Persing i doubt hes a drug dealer. he drinks nd smokes but ive blazed nd done coke with em. hes def not a dealer. hes always traveling. im sure he races. he sold his cls. Now he has a new f10 m5 and it looks crazy. he said so far with the tune he pushing abouts 600whp and he also has a ehaust setup. he wraps all his cars. i guess he likes to save the paint. i dont like the style of the bmw but it looks mean. he has red rims i havent seen em up close not sure what they are. And the cars wrapped in a gerying blueish with the spoiler wrapped black. Not my style but it looks good. the cla was fisrt wrapped matte blue and when he sold it it was wrapped matte orange.
hes since gotten rid of the cls63 nd got a new f10 m5. mean af. changes colors everymonth nd rims ahahhaah. guys rich. he does race. he had the beamer saftey car in front of his house.
That to me says "street legal" but not "streetable." I've never driven, but ridden in a 1,500 HP muscle car, and it was a total handful that required 100% concentration at all times. Certainly not something I could actually enjoy beyond pulling into a gas station and telling people it had that much power.

next week we're driving a Switzer 1,100 horsepower GTR. I like AMS's products but Switzer has always been more than cooperative with our schedules and the car was extremely impressive.
The GTR's amazing straight line performance has much more to do with the transmission and differential than it does just power and weight. The transmission shifts much faster in the GTR than the Mercedes, and it can get a significantly better launch.

One thing about a tease is it always leaves you wanting for more. It is that yearn, eagerness that such shows emote for a viewer that makes it worth watching. Now the sucky part is, the show is only eleven give or take mins. But that feeling, that desire is enough to make one get up get into his car, drive to a dealer(though i dislike them) and get one. one of those slick, stealthy, bank breaking, divorce inciting BENZES. Now as i sip my tea and watch this flic again, boy am i happy to own one:)
ahem, before yo get all high and mighty, you might want to check some facts too. The ZR1 uses the same carbon ceramic brakes from the Enzo, but Ferrari uses the GM magnetic ride control shocks from the ZR1 in the 458 and the FF.
This is correct. Mercedes uses the term "Biturbo" to mean identical, twin-turbos. The turbos are the same size, as it would make no sense to run them in sequence with a V-type engine configuration.

see, when I get a weak signal from behind, I don't slow down, I speed up to get away from the signal before he identifies which car it is. That way I'm not sitting there at 55 just waiting for the cop to catch up to me. If it's behind me and not close enough to make direct eye contact, I just get the hell out of there. Without arrows, I wouldn't know to do that.
furthermore, if there are elevation changes in the road, I can use the arrows to identify exactly how far the cop is ahead or behind me as I crest hills and the signal changes. You can only do this kind of analysis with a V1, and because of that, I can spot, with nearly 100% accuracy, where the cops actually are and how they are moving.

Just picked up my 2016 Midnight CLS63C4S with 7k miles :) Not even broken in yet. I'm considering the Renntech carbon fiber spoiler and diffuser. I'll do a stage 2 after 10k miles. Thanks for the inspiration :)

No, in the case of the AMG V8's the turbos are identical and run in parallel (one per cylinder bank), not a sequential setup like a stock Supra would be.
You just made my argument against the Escort. "In all other aspects than the directional arrows." The arrows are EVERYTHING. WIthout them, you might as well have a little bird on the dash chirping at you. If you don't have the arrows, you only have half the information you need. You do not respond the same way to an alert if the cop is behind you rather than ahead of you, and you NEED to know that information. Valentine has it, others dont. Game over.

That is a sick ride.
We focus our films around the modifications done. If the car is a big power car, we discuss how that power feels. If it's a handling thing, we focus on the handling, like Frank's Lotus. If it's a crazy custom job, like the Blastolene, we focus on his motivations behind doing such a project.
And I hate to say it, but the view counts don't lie. Having a car with a big horsepower number in the title of the video will get more views than "This Lotus Has Improved Handling." or something like that.
we have very expensive microphones that pick up the sound. You can hear it, and that's what it sounds like in person.
Hate to break it to you, but that gap is there from the factory. The nose and hood haven't been touched on this car, just the splitter on the bottom. I thought the same thing when we drove it, but they had another stock CLS there and it was the same.
that was the most beautyest CLS ever made...
The thing is, with AMG Cars, they use "biturbo", but the engines are actually twin-turbos that use the same size snails. It's confusing like that. Because they are small turbos there isn't much lag though.
