Great video! I am going to be doing this in my 06 Tacoma really soon and the engine will still be in the truck when I do it. I was worried about tightening the bolts 180 since I'll have limited room in there. This three step method is going to make it way easier.
So my head gasket failed to seal at cyl #2 and #6 was the problem . I noticed you went 90° instead of 180° on the 2nd step. Im thinking you did this to allow streching for the head bolt , right ? My cylinder head was decked and all , and i didnt have problems with that area , so the block should be good. Its a DNJ and im putting a Toyota HG back on after.
What is the over all torque after the initial 36 n.m.'s when your stretching the bolts, after turning the extra 90 degrees I would like to know if you catch this
