Personally my favorite aviation youtuber. Quality posts, no music, no commentator, no BS. You get what you want, and thats what I like. Thank you!
STEAM MAKES THIS VIDEO QUASI ROMANTIC FOR ME ! WOW
I remember spectacular sunrises and sunsets in the Tonkin Gulf on the Hancock 69-72
if i had to join the navy, being a deck crew member would be my choice of job
Doesn't get much better than that, watching the sunset and some F-18's taking off
You make me miss being out to sea and up on deck watching your videos.
ABE from the JFK and IKE.
I just swore in to the Navy yesterday and am going to be ABE, I love your videos!
Hell yeah brother! Feel free to reach out on IG if you need advice.
Awesome! GO NAVY!
If you're still at sea... see if you can get the "Shooter" to wear a gopro for an episode.
I think it would be an awesome point of view!!
Check out our other vids! We have tons of different views!
So glad to see a new video from you!
Great footage. First time I walked up on an active carrier deck was on this ship, as a green shirt. Sooooo crazy exciting, I couldn't stop smiling and don't think I blinked for an hour! Took back my training to our newest super carrier at the time, CVN72 (Plankowner). I miss this.
This is amaizing! Thank you very much for your service. Respect from England 🏴
After you do it for a while does it kind of get hard or is it always really cool if you know what I mean
@@prongsnort5948 I think I know what you're asking. At any time it can get tough because some of it is hard labor, but if for one second you get bored or complacent something will scare the schit out of you and your mind quickly remembers how not to die.
@@thef-35lockheedmartinlight11 Thank you F 35, it's something that one can only do in the Navy. Nothing like it in the civilian world. I am proud to have been a part of it.
Chris Maggio thx tou
Went on a CQ det to the Ford a while back while hurricane Isaiah was spinning up off the coast of North Carolina; went up top to get my fam stuff knocked out, you could lean into the wind, and see the lightning illuminating the spinning hurricane with the moon behind us and the lights of the SAR helo in the distance. Most beautiful thing ever.
Idealinoe blondi!

Awesome video! Served in the Navy from 72-76 and loved every minute. Got to work on A-4s, A-6s, A-7s, C-1s, UH-1Js and Tomcats. Though the Skyhawk was and still is my favorite jet.
glad your back :)
So cool to watch thanks 👍

How do you know what ship you are going to be plz tell me you can pick
@@prongsnort5948 I know you asked him which he hasn’t replied, but to make your answer acquainted for, No, you don’t get to pick what ship to go to, though you maybe given options of where you want to go before you enlist, something like that. Hopes this helps 😃
@@JoJo-zd2kr thx man
He has a Instagram page and posts/uploads stories frequently
One of my favorite channels on all of RUclips. Thanks so much for sharing this footage.
we got some good stuff coming the next few weeks 🔥
@@FlightDeckLife Nice. You're one of the only channels on YT that I actually push that bell symbol for, so I can't wait.
Ah the smell of burning JP-5 (or whatever they use now) in the evening. Even though I didn't have a flight deck job, I loved it. (USS Forrestal CVA-59 68-72)
Epic
Nice
God I miss this!
Was that guy dancing? And the guy goes wtf are you doing?
l liked it very much l love helicopter
Devachki! Nasosite sebe Sami na vidosik!
Pukin Dogs baby! I did the 2000 cruise on the IKE. I miss that flattop.
Nice to see how well organized this operation is (yeah I know those who do not obey the strict rules can have fatal injuries).
Moe vidosik!!!:-))))))
And if you’re off duty are you loud to stand on the sidelines and watch jet’s land and takeoff or are you not allowed up in the flight deck until you’re on duty
Funny question, but makes sense to ask. No, Very few people are allowed on the flight deck who are not part of the activity directly. Occasionally a "guest" or dignitary, but they are kept waaaaay out of harms way and babysat intently. Mostly they are watching from up in the tower, where they are safe and not in our way, if at all. As for us, if there are aircraft operations happening then the whole crew is on duty, so it's not like there is a day crew or a night crew. The restrictions are tight and necessary.
Chris Maggio thx you I have that question for so ling
Vultures Row is on the island, don’t remember the level, but it might be 06.
@@chrismaggio7879 no night crew? Damn that blows.
Nasosi sebe sama! Territoriya

Moe video! Я ego smotry!!! Moeeee!.. Ostalьные?... Это мое!
Where are the weapons? Looks like they got gas but no weapons.... Looks like maybe night CQ? Absolutely love these flight deck guys and experience and job very few can even imagine.
My wife seeing the video: “someone is going to get killed!!!”
“Who does shit like that?” “You’re all crazy” Huahuahuahua huahuahuahua
Huinя privetiki!
I’m sorry last question is it not allow for you to record inside the aircraft carrier because I’ve seen a lot of people do videos on top of the deck and then when they go in they have to turn off their camera but I’ve always been interested like what’s inside even though I’ve been in a museum but what’s it like being on active carrier walking inside
Some spaces you can film, and some spaces you cannot (obviously). But we cut the camera because we usually tried to take a break after flight ops.
