We can count on you to shoot us straight! Solid show of the truck in all it's pros and cons. Driving aggressiveness was on point, nice job! This is the first Kiosho I would consider.

Thank you. 🙂 It's a lovely truck and drives great, but the body mounts need a bit of work (from Kyosho).

Vas this is the video I needed. Every video I've watched, the drivers have been taking it easy with it but you can see the body swaying all over the place. Your video shows what could happen if you take a nose down landing, which we all do. No question Kyosho needs to address, and maybe take a look at your fix😉 Hopefully before the next release. I was completely surprised how well this truck handled. Still got this on my wish list. Once again thank you for this video.

Thanks man. Yeah, this truck handles really nice and even for 2S, I think it has enough speed, only annoying part are those body mounts. Love the scale looks, but maybe for a basher it's unnecessary.

Take the body off, maybe? Gonna pass on this truck.

I got a new body coming to try out.
This truck is awesome and you'll see it why in the 3S run. 😉

I have watched multiple videos with these and they won't show the truck falling down or rolling over with that fragile body-besides this one finally I know

Can you tell me what 3S battery you used on this Tacoma? Thank you.

Body pins blues , pretty annoying. Was an easy fix ,but in my opinion shouldn’t have been sold like that !. Kyosho must have known about it due to L bracket . As to handling and looks , Sweet as on 2S almost like training mode . Looking forward to a performance run on 3S . Great video Vas , thanks 🙏🏼.

Thanks Alan. Yeah, on 3S this truck really wakes up. 😉

It really grinds my gears when manufacturers release a model before its ready, hoping that the customers will identify any faults. Rather than doing a little pre-release testing and fixing. They are all guilty of it to some extent, some more guilty than others.
Cracking vid as usual Vas 👌

Thank you very much. And you're absolutely right. On the plus side, I have found many flaws in RCs over the years that manufacturers have corrected due to my testing (and others like me). But like you said, how comes it has to go to market first before some of these faults are found?

I hate to say it but i believe the kyosho brand as storied as they are the products are nice to look at and fun to play with but you have to play gently with them. I own a mad van 3s and it took broke on the first run. This seems to be a re-occuring problem. can anyone confirm or deny. thanks

I disagree. I think their biggest weakness at the moment is setup, not durability. I have the Mad Van as well, haven't ran it on 3S, but it's beautiful truck with great handling and I've not broken anything on mine.
I also own the Mad Wagon and I've beaten the crap out of that one and I've only had cosmetic damage. Very solid truck, but I've had to modify it a bit to be able to handle and perform better. (Nothing to do with durability).
Kyosho are not perfect, they're making mistakes, but they're at least addressing them in time and the Tacoma is proof of that. They'll get better as long as they continue to take on feedback and make changes. I'm excited to see what they do next. 😎

This is great! It might need a viper cut on the front bumper like real Tacomas when fitting bigger tires 🤣

Pretty sure they have been released already. Unless there's no stock... but they are out for sure.

Thanks for the reply. A lot of places I see say “preorder”. Maybe it’s cause I live in California and it’s not released in this area yet

Oh, you're right. My bad. Just checked it myself and they are due to land late November. I thought they were out already... So yeah, looks like they'll be available just in time for Christmas. 😎
