@@iamasuperkorean I'm considering buying the Scorpio. I read reviews and some were good and not so good. Would you mind sharing pros and cons of your experience with that boat?
@@seoguru5826, I have nothing but only good things to say about Scorpio. It is such a versatile boat that does pretty much everything. It is a good touring kayak as well as a play boat if you want to play in waves, around rocks, and tide race. It rolls well because of its low beck deck. It is made of such high-density plastic that it is durable. Is it a perfect boat compared to other high-end kayaks that are made of carbon or composite? No, it is perfect for me and for my kinds of paddling. The only reason I got Delphin even though I am perfectly happy with Scorpio is simply because I needed a more playful boat with aggressive rocker. I use Scorpio and Delphin equally because I love them both. I also call Scorpio ‘poor men’s Cetus’ because it is a plastic version of its composite model Cetus. However, it is much cheaper and easier for maintenance in my opinion. Hopefully, this can help you to reach your decision :)
@@iamasuperkorean That's so helpful coming from an experienced paddler like you. I'm a little concerned about the weight of the boat and transporting it to and from my vehicle but it's not a deal killer. Thanks so much for the detailed response. I'm glad you enjoy both boats so much.
@@pilsungyang8279 Admittedly, since I've become good at rolling a kayak, I've become very lazy at practicing the other self-rescues. The other day I went to the pool to practice the other self-rescues and I was terrible. Even my favorite assisted rescue involves rolling: ruclips.net/video/IIeYHwWs5pc/видео.html
Looks like a great paddle year with some impressive technical skills, waves and locations! Happy 2023!
Thanks for your kind comments. Happy 2023 to you, your family, and all your friends!
Great compilation! Love the progression of your video clips & the thoughtful choice of mixed music genres sprinkled throughout this video. 👍🏻
I always appreciate your admiration and support for my passion. Thank you.
Looks like you have a P&H boat. What model is it?
Actually, I have two P&H boats. One is Scorpio MV Mark2 and the other is Delphin (155) Mark2.

@@seoguru5826 Thanks :)
In summary, in 2022, you spent as much time paddling under your kayak as you did above your kayak. :-)
Yup, that was the point. 😂 Rolling is an essential skill, as essential as paddling. Cheers!
