Oooh! Looks like SO MUCH FUN! 🤩 I’m glad you were able to be a part of two great events from your unique vantage point in the water. Thanks for sharing!
@@melanayang5715, thank you. It is always my pleasure :)
you're so right about the ocean out there. when I was there in September I launched at Ucluelet. And you see the big giant ocean swells. The first thing that came to mind was this ain't Indian Arm.
Great skill, You make it look so easy. 👏👏
@@uni-bob-kayaking, In my journey, I still have a long way to go. Thank you for watching :)
Really interesting there with the fog or low clouds! Nice video as always! 🙂
@@AirOnTheWater, that foggy and rainy weather with low-hanging clouds is pretty usual here on the west coast of Canada. Thank you for watching. Cheers :)
Hey Pilsung, I'm trying to figure out where you are? Is this Indian Arm.
@@Todspeed, yes, this power station is located in Indian Arm. To get there, you paddle past Twin Islands and then you will see an old BC power station. You paddle past that and keep going around the corner. Then, you will see a modern power station facility just before you reach Buntzen Bay.
@@iamasuperkorean Thanks bro. I've done the trip out to the Twin Islands several times. I guess I should go farther.
Nice one!
@@AirOnTheWater, thank you:)
Nice video, I was curious about that deck launch from Twin Island pier. I’ve capsized my kayak trying to board from that pier and I wonder if that launch would be easier. cheers!
@@marioduarte4444, I’d rather do seal launch from the deck than get into my kayak from the deck simply because it is not only easier but also cooler :)
@@iamasuperkorean does that work with all types of kayak materials or thermo / composite ones would get scratches? great content, I'll subscribe!
@@marioduarte4444, that is why I stay with PE (Polyethylene) kayaks. I don’t trust myself with composite or carbon Kevlar boats. I would break them in a month :)
Magnificent as always! And fabulous music choices~

I paddled to Halkett Bay from West Vancouver for overnight camping this April. Sea lions cried the entire night LOL. Your video reminds me of the good memory!
@@jamiesigg3454, trying to fall asleep while listening to sea lions crying all night would have been a nuisance but it didn’t happen to me luckily. Where in West Vancouver did you launch from?
@@iamasuperkorean I took off at Eagle Harbour Park, West Van.
@@jamiesigg3454, if you don’t mind, I’d like to bother you with one more question. Does Eagle Harbour Park have pay parking or free parking? If it is free, is overnight parking allowed? I assume that you are allowed to park there overnight. Otherwise, you would have come back to find parking tickets on the windshield or find out that your vehicle had been towed when you came back from Halkett Bay this past April. I am interested in camping at Apodaca Recreation Site. The problem is finding a place in West Vancouver, where I can park my car without spending too much on parking.
@@iamasuperkorean When I was there in April, it was free and I was allowed to park overnight, as well as a local kayak school van was parked. Use Google Map with satellite views and type in “Telegraph Trail & Eagle Harbour Road” to look for the location. Then you will see a pull-out parking.
When I was there in April, it was free and overnight was allowed. I believe it is still free. Use Google map with satellite view to type in “Telegraph Trail & Eagle Harbour Road,” and you’ll see a pull-out parking space. I hope this helps you.
Yesssssss! Another beautiful paddle in absolutely majestic scenery. Love every bit of this video! 👏🏻✨
@@melanayang5715, thank you for your kind words :)
What is the best length of paddle?
@@philipcoleman8184, I don’t know about others, but I think a 220-cm-long Greenland paddle is the most ideal for me.
What do you think is the best paddle for this boat and a good backup?
@@philipcoleman8184, this is really a tough question to answer because it depends on your preferences and the type of paddling you like. In my case, though, Greenland paddle are the best because I could paddle all day without getting tired as much as from Euro paddles.
Rolling with different paddles?
@@philipcoleman8184, I used to use only Euro paddles, and then switched to Greenland paddles.
Do you teach people rolling lessons
@@Funkayak-p8i, I have never taught anyone how to roll because, first, I am not Paddle Canada certified. Second, I am more interested in my personal development.
As always, a great video - beautiful views and a privilege to be able to paddle surrounded by such landscapes!
Thank you :)
Wow! What an epic paddle!!! 👏🏻
Thank you :)
Your control over your kayak and achieving a 24-mile open water journey is impressive and encourages me to achieve a higher personal goal. God Bless You.
Thank you for your compliments. Enjoy your paddling :)
Nice! Where is this? What distance did you cover?
@@stevenkelly-reif2682, I started from the Rocky Point park in Port Moody. BC, Canada, to Twin Islands in Indian Arm on Friday, Twin Island to Granite Falls on Saturday, and Granite Falls back to Port Moody on Sunday. It is almost 30 km one way and 60 km both ways.
Which ph model do you own
@@Funkayak-p8i, the boat I was using in this particular video is P&H Delphin MK2. I also have a Scorpion but Delphin is superior in rough waters.

I have a core lite P&H as well and use a Greenland stick, they rock for rolling!
@@redhead56, that’s fantastic. A P&H core lite Kayak armed with a Greenland paddle can’t go wrong. I feel more confident with my Greenland paddle than my Euro paddles. Because of that, I haven’t used my Euro paddles for almost 2 years now. By the way, which P&H Kayak are you paddling in?
What would be a good size in term of length for kalleq? Any recommendations? Thanks!
It all depends on the length of your arms when you spread them open horizontally. However, the standard length is 220cm, and that’s what I have for my Kellaq. I find it perfect for me. My other Greenland paddle, which is a 210cm Akiak, is more like my storm paddle. By the way, my height is 172cm. Hopefully, this helps :)
@@iamasuperkorean yes. Thank you!
I really need to start saving for a new kayak!
Life is short, so buy a new kayak! It will change your life :)
Wow! So cool!!! 👏🏻
Isn’t solo camping dangerous? That is what I hear from others too. I always tell them the drive there was the most dangerous part of my trip. Then they look at me funny. The odds of getting killed or badly injured on the road are far greater than probably anything I will encounter on my trip. On my trip I can control so much more and never have to worry about someone slamming into me with a massive amount of weight. I have absolutely no control of others on the road, but on the water it’s all about my own skill level with nature. The number one rule, don’t let things get out of control. On the road things are beyond my control always. Great videos thx for sharing.
I agree with you on what you said 100 percent.
Your one of the best kayak rollers and video makers Super K I’ve ever seen, you must have a magic nose lol, water goes straight up my nose and down my throat, do you have a special method to prevent that?
Thank you for your generous compliments. To answer your question, I don’t have any special method to prevent water going up my nose. I guess I am used to it now. Sometimes, my nose drips for two days after intensive rolling practices. It is good at least for my sinuses :)
Extremely fluid and beautiful paddle stroke, bracing, and rolling. You make it look effortless. Maybe get ride of the music. The paddle and the water is the best harmonic sound! Cheers, Scott
Thank you Scott.

You are such a good roller but one question, how come your glasses don't get fogged up with the salt after a roll? Mine do big time.
My glasses get fogged up too. To solve the problem, I always carry a hand towel in a plastic bag inside my PFD. I also scoop water onto my glasses, which gives me a few seconds of clear vision.
Such skill! I love watching you effortlessly navigate the wind and waves. 👍🏻
The only motivation while on the water is to come home to you safely :)
