Hey everybody, please give FRR a thumbs up like. It helps them go into the algorithm of RUclips's recommended channels, and they deserve it...peace.

Ewan McGregor did a good job of disappearing into each of the characters. I didn't once think of Renton, watching this. (Same with Martin Freeman. Only took a few seconds of him as Lester to forget all about The Office.)

I love Thaddeus storyline and VM Varga is one of the greatest Fargo villains.

Notice how every season so far has a couple where the woman is way smarter than the man, and is the shot caller? ha.😅

Yep. Kinda like every advert since the '90s! (The women are always smart, modern and sassy; while the man is inept and ineffective (especially if white).)

"Was the King the UFO of season one?" - One question that Noah Hawley asks his writers as they develop each season is "Who or what is our Mike Yanagita?" To make the events of the film feel truer, the Coens added narrative elements that detoured from the central story. The biggest being Mike Yanagita, and each season has at least one 'Mike Yanagita'. Because each season evolves over ten episodes and follows multiple characters, Hawley's instinct is that, rather than create a single narrative detour, the writers must spread "real life" characters and moments throughout the story in unexpected ways, to create events and characters - like those in the film - that are portrayed as real, in a truth is stranger than fiction manner. Remember, "This is a true story." Accidents happen in this Fargo universe, randomness is ever present. The King, the fish falling from the sky, the man in Malvo's trunk, the UFOs, Judge Mundt and the waffle house shooting, etc. The point - as he tells the writers - is not to create meaninglessness, but to show that meaning in this universe is open to interpretation. To take a quote from the Coen brothers' A Serious Man: "Accept the mystery."

The problem with Nikki & Ray's relationship doesn't fall on one side (although I would argue that one side is mostly responsible for how it started) it actually comes down to them feeding into & off of each others negative characteristics in an effort to make the other happy. Nikki wasn't the one who wanted to rob Emmit in Ep 1, Ray was & he did it without her knowledge. That said, Nikki doesn't stop him & later escalates things based on her dislike of Emmit. It's tragic, because if Ray had just stuck to their plans to do the Bridege Competitions, they could've avoided all of the Emmit & Varga nonsense. Emmit and Sy would still be fucked tho. lol

Enjoying All Fargo reactions. S3 was special for me. BTW - S2 small connection. If you watch S3 Episode 1 again. Check out what the old man Ennis is watching on the TV before he meets his demise.

Officer Burgle not "existing" to technology (phones, doors, faucets, etc) ...that idea is from _some_ movie, but darn-it-to-heck I can't remember *what* movie.
Anyone know? (Might be a book?)

Think back to the most prominent color used for effect in season 2 . Now notice the almost total lack of it in season 3 . Can you name it ? Also a new hue defines 3 .

After the last episode I read up on it (wiki) and was surprised Nikki is Mrs McGregor (Mary but I can't remember her last name). I really think I've only seen her in Ahsoka. But Ewan's doing a great job and Mary, too. I'd been watching an episode the week you'd be reacting but I couldn't help myself and finished the season.😄 I'm really enjoying your reactions!
