еще давно Мирослав Култышев приезжал к нам в Свердловскую филармонию в программе "Молодые звезды" или что-то типа того (и Даниил Трифонов, еще никому не известный тоже) от Санкт-Петербургского Дома музыки. Тогда еще был заметен его огромный талант, осмысление материала. А сейчас это просто звезда. Нет слов!

I have heard today several interpretations of this pianist. Even in the Etudes, he displays elegance and originality. This is how I think they should be played. His playing reminds me somewhat of Geza Anda. Hopefully he does not smoke!

I think right hand of No.1 needs to be played softer and with more variety otherwise it sounds like warming up with scales.

I find that he plays the No.1 with much clarity, uniformity and elegance, virtues that fit the Etudes. Same with the No.2, which one ears so often sped up excessively. They are today concert pieces, yet don't require excessive expressivity, giving instead the enjoyment of technique.
