Yeah, got shut down completely by one card unfortunately.
seems like it was some kind of strange artifact build? Which is maybe a flavor thing but doesn't synergize with his card at all which is way better with Goad effects and hasting in insanely damaging creatures like Karlach & Scourge of the Throne.

@@TheDankestDungeon I found him to be one of the most difficult commanders to play. You have to know everyone else’s cards to a greater degree, and there are always so many options to consider. Nice game!

Great video, im actually making a yawgmoth deck, just a quick question since I'm still new, could you just kept sacrificing the Scarabs to pretty much wipe the board, im not sure what speed the tokens come in at
Yeah you can keep saccing and creating scarabs as long as you have targets left to put -1/-1 counters on.
Its at instant speed, as soon as the -1/-1 counter is put on
Can you put a minus one counter on Yawgmoth from Volrath? Volrath is a Shapeshifter, so it's also a human, and Yawgmoth has protection from human.
Yawgmoth player had the win already to go infinite when he had nest of scarabs+ yawgmoth + blood artist
I believe he needed creatures to put -1/-1 counters on in order to keep making insects to sacrifice, no?
@@TheDankestDungeonit is up to one target creature, so he can draw his half of deck already without target for -1/-1. On the spot, you can win but choose to either igorne or not go along with it. It like playing with your opponent/victim, i don't think it is respectful.
Yeah, he doesn't need to put a -1/-1 counter on something, but if he doesn't he won't create any more insects so he won't have anything left to sacrifice, or am I missing something else?
