      It's definitely a lot of fun to play, but it took me a lot of practice to realize what a good hand looked like, and even then the earliest you can get your commander on the field (absent a god-tier first hand) is turn four, and typically you won't get Aesi out on the field until turn 6, assuming that you're opponent doesn't decide to take him out. Not saying it's not a powerful deck, but it is definitely a slow start before Aesi comes out. I have heavily modified (as in replaced nearly half the cards) my Reap the Tides deck after running it stock for a month or two against my friends who have custom commander decks or modified precons.

  • @benbird2100
    @benbird2100 Год назад

    I've really enjoyed using the Reap The Tide's pre-con for as a foundation to create a deck filled with dangerously powerful beasts multiple win conditions. If you go the route of using this deck as a foundation for your own Simic Landfall Deck, I highly recommend keeping (or upgrading) a good portion of the land bounce featured in the pre-con, as it can be really helpful in the mid-game to ensure that you can still trigger your landfall. I would also recommend the use of multiple blue instant spells which can return Aesi to your hand from the battlefield, as casting a commander multiple times from your command zone--especially a commander with a base casting cost of 6 mana --can get pretty expensive very quickly.
