My 1st 05 G35 coupe manual black on blk was in 09 put like $10000 into it
My 2nd 2011 auto was a G37 coupe IPL in 2018 grey n red interior
My 3rd was in 2021 another 05 G35 coupe auto silver on black
And now in 2023 an 04 auto G35 coupe red on tan

Struggled with belt squeal on my 03 after having to replace it. All you have to do is tighten the tensioner little by little until it doesn’t squeak anymore. :)
I can confirm this is what you need to do!
That’s what I’m thinking because I’ve used a little of belt conditioner and it goes away but I’m going to check it soon!
@@vqbella_ could also be the pulley in the center, its an idler doesnt really do anything. 2 of my cars had that go bad
@@chevelle1967 It's the tensioner that's squealing. When I spray the conditioner on it, it stops making noise, but then goes right back to screaming lol
@@vqbella_ belt conditioner eats your belt away! I can’t even loosen my bolt to completely drop my belt I have to like crank the belt on 😂 but I got it on and kept playing w the tension until it stopped squeeling cold starts
G35 was always my favorite nissan body out of that gen

whoever says not to get Spec D headlights, don't listen to them lol they're probably just jelly cos they can't afford them, all you need is a little sealant just in case, best headlights by far for these cars!

Idk the Halo LED headlights give it that gorgeous OEM+ look that rivals the Spec D ones imo.

if you want it to pull a little more and not spend alot get a long cold air intake i have one down to the bumper almost hitting my tire 😭 but it pulls like a dream feels like Vtec lowkey🤣

stumbled across your channel. damn i missed my G. same 04 6mt as yours in IP. props to you for not switching out the stock spoiler for those hideous duck spoilers they're putting on these days. mine came with the factory front lip spoiler which i believe is the best exterior mod.

You got a good build going! Another easy mod you could do is add a plenum spacer! Cheap too! 400 - 500 hp? If you haven’t played in a car with that much horsepower be careful!
I’ve been in one with even more, but haven’t driven one yet lol we’ll see tho! I’ll also look into that plenum spacer 🔥
impossible to achieve without turbo i have maybe tops 320hp and i've done everything you can do in this engine and still keep it NA.

@@melk333 you must have seen nothing but trash vqs! Super reliable and a very fun car that can make good power! At stock the car can dominate 60 - 70% of the cars on the street! I can give a hellcat a good run and they only start to pull away when they hit that 7th gear! To each there own🤷🏻♂️ no turbo either!
@@djantraxx86 Someone lied to you bud! The car can easily make 5 to 600 hp without a turbo! You’re pretty much stock with no tune at 320hp! Hell the car comes stock at around 275hp What you got an exhaust and intake only? You are missing an asshole of power if you have more mods than that! Also maybe you know, maybe you don’t but most hp mods to be effective requires a tune! Bet if you tune what you got you would be closer to 400. Need to find a good tuner which is gonna cost you around 600 bucks to have your car done but you shouldn’t do it until you have all the mods you are going to get installed on the car.
That shit is clean, calm just like the wind! It looks like it's a 1000 hp just on a stand still. Time to throw in a tuned HR under the hood.

if you get a 5/16 motordyne plenum spacer. get your top plenum polish. i did mine here in New Zealand. looks good

I like being able to see the different things you can do to make this car your own.. kinda figured old cars will just always look and feel old but it beats walking so it’s not a big deal

My G35 also made that sound , (cold starts only ) I replace the serpentine belts (both ) , it still made the sound !

Major respect on getting more of a ducktail than a spoiler. I think those big spoilers are just too much. DOnt need them unless you're tracking it.
The clear tails are a significant aesthetics upgrade as well.
Super keen on the stock+ look. Not toooooo far out there that it obviously looks like something the police wanna pull over, but enough that its gonna turn heads. Well, mine at least.

I absolutely love your build but i would really recommend putting the stock intake back on. Stock these cars make 280hp and dynos have shown that intakes with no heat shields bring it down to the 260 range. I used to have that intake, it heat soaks terribly. When i put the stock back on, totally different car
Thank you! and unfortunately, I had to change mine because my stock intake had a hole in it lol but rn I’m not looking to tune it 😄 but! when I do I’m pretty sure it won’t have the same motor
@@vqbella_ you dont need to tune for a cai lmfao. my car with a different cai makes 5 more rwhp. then again its not a g35 but your car would still appreciate colder more dense air.
These don’t make 280 dude. You got that off google didn’t you, 280 is the advertised hp which is CRANK HP, 280 CHP equals to 240 WHP wheel hp cars crank hp is the hp the engine itself makes, the hp has to get transferred through the drivetrain into the wheels that’s why it’s called WHEEL HP, bc after drivetrain loss you get a closer representation.

Get the z1 idler pulley delete to get rid of the squeal it helps alot
you should consider getting the seats reupholstered for a nice fresh look

I keep debating on whether I should get a Scion FR-S or a G35 Coupe. A G35 is around 10 grand, whereas an FR-S is 17 Grand before taxes. I don't wanna make car payments every month, I prefer to buy a car right out full cash. That way I can buy Aftermarket parts without having to wait till I have the money.

Niiiiice. I only put a intake, high flow cats, and a Y pipe on my 07 coupe. My G is black. The interior has that ugly tan however. I need fresh paint too.

On my 05 g35 I had bad belt squeaking on cold starts. I replaced both tensioner/idler pulleys and then the squeak went away. At first I tried belt conditioner and tightening the belts but it quickly came back. So then I decided to replace the two pulleys.
I’ve replaced literally all of my pulleys and tensioners lol but I’m going to try tightening the tensioner while it’s running until it stops squealing

Yes! I didn’t install any lights on the sunroof and the wires don’t interfere with it opening and closing. You just have to make sure the wires aren’t crazy loose and you’ll be fine 😇

So 400+ hp is a lot for this cars they do wake up big time even after 300hp so if your not looking for all that I would recommend just get a tune on how your car sits now just to wake er and believe me you’ll be in for a shock

What type of paint did you use for the roof and how long did it take
I used duplicolor fabric vinyl paint from autozone. Took me a day for the headliner and 3 days max for the entire interior 🙏🏼

just installed resonated test pipes along with my tomei and its way too loud now 😬. starts to drone at 2800 rpms
I’m trying to get either a greddy or I think the hks. I love the deep rumple and they aren’t too loud 😁
@@vqbella_ yea i went with Tomei because its the loudest one and singl exit looked cool. only installed test pipes because my CATS were gone bad

She’s actually not lol the smaller tire profile makes it look that way because I had a bigger tire profile before and sat at a perfect height.
Use a stick of deodorant on the belt, it may take the squeal out.
I’ve tried lol but that’s only temporary and worked for like an hour 😁
What is a good percent tint for the sides and windshield
I currently have 75 on the windshield and 20 all around. It’s a good middle point if you want to get away with it from the cops lol
