A little criticism though - I was wondering if maybe some time you could edit out the sped up voice in your videos though? I always end up having to turn the volume right down because of it ;;
Agreed on that last part! A lot of people actually like to watch needle felting videos to see; and especially hear the process being done. The crunching sound of the needle felting the wool has an ASMR effect on some people. So if anything, the sped up editing isn't needed at all.
Thanks for the feedback! I will cut the sound on any sped up bits in future 🙂 ...I just sped up rather than cut footage otherwise the stabbing of wool can go on and on lol
Cute video but I find the wool very course. What kind is it. And I would have made a leg joint in the front also rather than those stick legs. But good beginner tutorial I guess
Could I get some help? I recently purchased some felting wool that seems a little too tough for the needles I have, do you have any recommendations for 'heavy duty(?)' felting needles?
Hi there, I use a 36 gauge steel needle...you can buy them on eBay but I found those ones are made from nickel and not only rust but are not very good quality. Unfortunately felting needles do have a tendency to snap no matter where you get them from. When I started out I used winghamwool for their needles ..very good quality! A 32 gauge is good for certain projects and might suit the wool you have better x
