Hi, i just started to felt. I wonder which wool is good for base first? because i find merino wool for base is too soft

Normally I use merino from beginning to end to the end, don’t use any other wool or thing for base. If merino is too soft to you, another option is choosing fiber diameters above 27. For example, Romney, Corridale,etc. :)
