    * WOOPEEEE ~ Needle Felting.. You are taking me down the garden path.. I don't have room for all your wonderful ideas.. I live in a Senior Independent Living building & they have FITS about my Dining room being a Craft Room... Management Not Happy!!! Will have to sneak supplies in & Buy a new Shelving Unit.... ( don't tell them ~ I don't Care about their Idea of Dining Rooms... LOL )

Wow love it...always wanted to try this ....I probably will once I get settled in my new apartment great job Yvonne!!!!!! Yes my boyfriend is renovating our apartment where we will be moving so he made me a crafting area right by a huge picture window, what a suprise I was so thrilled and happy he went and done that, with wall shelves and all, now he is making me a crafting table too...some boyfriends huh??? Love your work, enjoy your videos so much!!!!

Wow... I have to try needle felting! Up to now, I've only used roving in making shields (a shield is like a dreamcatcher, but it doesn't have a web.) I put pictures or beadwork in the center of the hoop where the web would be, and wrap the hoop with roving. Then I make the fringe with more roving.
That leaf you did turned out really beautiful! Once again, you have inspired me to learn new skills!

I purchased a couple kits, I am thoroughly enjoying felting. My husband said my rabbit looks like the gremlin.

I love felting, but I had to get a finger protector. (Too many wounds. lol) a thimble would probably work as well. Love to make lil critters (bunnies & a koala.). Love watching. You are so very talented and creative, can't wait to see what you do next. 😉

Great tutorial, if you don't have finger guard you can take a small piece of cardboard and fold it in half and put the leaf in between.

I spent a week in Peters Valley New York learning how to do this. By the end of the week I was able to create things that looked like they were hand painted.

Oops Peter's Valley is in New Jersey not New York. It is an amazing place. It is actually an artist community. They run classes during the summer. It was wonderful to be surrounded by so much incredible talent for a week.

I saw some felting videos and it really does look like fun. Maybe for Christmas Santa will hook me up with what I need to get started.

Autumn is my favourite season and the colours are gorgeous. Not sure I have the patience for needle felting but it was very relaxing to watch haha! Much love x

Great video. I'm an impatient beginner. That edge technique is the best. Thank you.

Needle felting is super fun even though I usually stab my fingers a ton when I do it haha. I've made a panda and a replica of my friend's dog. Gotta try some nature pieces!

It will go faster if you wet felt a small sheet. Create finer layers of criss crossed roving. Sponge on very hot water. Sandwich between small bubble wrap. Roll with rolling pin or similar item you can hit it beat it and roll over it. Oops I forgot to mention rub olive oil soap (or similar). More hot water and soap. Until you have a nice dense and stable felted fabric. Then you can cut it into shapes or use as a canvas to paint with roving (instead of paint). Very therapeutic although a little messy.

You are doing well, but to get a smooth transition from color to color, try mixing a tiny bit in your hand of say the gold and green and start putting a spread out piece over or under the veins. To mix just put both colors, or more, on your hand and pull apart turn put together and pull apart turn put together repeat until smoothly blended. Make different shades as needed... You do not need to pull it out into a pencil roving to use it, you can spread it flat like you did to begin with. So hard to use words in text. Have fun.

Hehe, I like the fluff, I wear it poofy for a few days before putting my dreads back in. Randy loves brushing my hair so it's our compromise. He's happy, and I look like ive been zapped :p
