Hi Sara. I was just told about your RUclips channel as a place to get advice for armature building. I was just watching your video from 4 years ago on how you build armatures using the Digitwidget. The video is just what I needed! I need to build skeleton hands. What wire thickness do you use? In the video, the wire is so flexible, it almost looks like stiff thread! Obviously the wire I'm using (18 gauge) is waaay too stiff for building details like hands. Would really appreciate some guidance if you could spare a minute. Thanks.
i think she was using flower wire for the hands? that wire is typically much more bendable, and cheaper! but i wouldnt recommend using it for the whole body.
do you have any written tutorials i would really like to try doing a dragon but your video was way too fast for me. or some basic skeletal drawings would be great. thanks

I was really hoping for the dragon to not require wet felting. I just cannot physically do the wet felting.
Have you tried a handheld sander instead for agitation? Might be a good option!
