You are a life saver! Both water & steam outlet were blocked due limescale. The trick with the compressor worked for both! Steam & water outlet runs smooth as brand new. I’m going to use the water tap more frequently to prevent next time
remove the water from the tank and turn off the machine when you return, fill a canister and rinse a full can of water intermittently from the brew group and water wand
Great channel! I have the opposite problem. My hot water wand keeps dripping and I can’t stop it. Is it something, I can fix my self? I imagine there is a seal somewhere near the knob, that doesn’t work
If I have a similar problem but on the steam wand, the steam quality is less steam but a lot of dry air. Can I use this same technique to clean the steam wand?
Hello, I just bought the MaraX v2. The water wand mostly just puts out steam. If the water wand pipe comes off the bottom of the boiler, why is there steam?
@@lelitinsider2977 Yes there is some water, but there is a lot a steam, which makes quite a mess. Do you have a video of the water wand in use so that I can compare it?
Yep it did - descaling is a much simpler and also safer solution since the blockade simply dissolves due to the descaling solution and does not risk damaging any other internal component after you remove it with the air pressure like this video suggests.
@@chachomask to avoid this problem, it is advisable to use a water softener, once a year, consult your dealer and assess whether there is a need for a discal
@@lelitinsider2977 thanks... I'm going to try some kind of air push device I have at home and see if I can dislodge the obstruction. If I have to open the machine what would I do?

worked fine for me and my Bianca. Didnt use Air compressor, but a compressed air can. Thanks for the hint! :)
Life saver. Happened to my Bianca. Did this and woah lah. The water flow is so smooth now.
Hi, what do you advise when going on a long holiday (2 months). Can i just leave the marax like that or do i need to perform some actions?
remove the water from the tank and turn off the machine
when you return, fill a canister and rinse a full can of water intermittently from the brew group and water wand

It worked for me. Be aware to also open up the water outlet 1:53 So the air pressure can leave through the warm water tap
0:23 Hi, is it normal for the hot water wand to not hold its position? Mine does exactly what this does and it’s very annoying.
yes, it is normal,
unfortunately, the wand is heavy and we cannot stiffen the ball tightness, as we would ruin the sealing orifice too much
Ciao! I have the same problem with my Lelit Bianca, can I follow the same instruction to fix the issue?
yes, is the same procedure

Does boiling water come out with steam?
this is because steam is faster than water, so they come out together

will an ordinary descaling procedure also solve the issue?

What if you don’t have an air compressor at home?
in this case it you have to open the machine,....or you can look for someone with an air compressor
