First thing to say is, temperature of the water coming out of the boiler is different from the temperature of the water at which the coffee boiler is kept.
E.g. to dispense from the group at 90°C, you have to set the coffee boiler at a higher temperature.
This difference (offset) is managed by the LCC within the technical menu at the value EC
This value is factory set to 10°C: this means that at 90°C the boiler will heat up to/aim to 100°C.
There are cases (especially in winter) for which it is necessary to select a higher value on the display, e.g. 95°C, in order to deliver coffee at 90°C.
This means that to dispense 90°C you’ll need to heat the coffee boiler to 105°C.
This is because EC 10 already raises the temperature by 10°C.
In this case, if you want to bring the temperature seen on the display closer to the brew temperature, simply increase the EC value
Selecting EC 15 will align the extraction temperature with the value shown on the display.
If you want to make this modification, we recommend setting:
KPc 0.2
KDc 0.2
EC 15
These settings are intended to make the PID work below the target with a limit on the attainment, explaining why it is long.
""BREW TEMPERATURE"" modifies the temperature in the coffee boiler during extraction.
In order to get a significant difference during the extraction, you’ll need to set a higher value, +10 or -10.
The difference during the extraction is maximum 1°C, this is enough to taste a difference.
The longer the extraction, the more taste difference you will notice!
We suggest trying to set +10 and use the machine for 2 days. After this time, try -10 and use the machine for 2 days.
With thermofilters, unlike real extractions with coffee in the filterholder, the flow rate of water is constant, so it is difficult to notice this difference: we recommend trying this whole procedure with coffee and then let us know.

@@lelitinsider2977 Thank's for reply, I think your thermometer is not accurate because I'm running Ec 10 on my machine at the same altitude and same 20 degrees celsius and I read 1 degree celsius less than the temperture I set the machine
