Why is Leonardo not seeking to use funds from a special fund of the British government to support Ukraine. Poland has 25 Mi-8 helicopters second-hand machines that can be transferred to Ukraine overhauled and modified in Poland. In return for these 25 helicopters, Leonardo would be able to produce new AW-101 helicopters for Poland, the 12-10 AW-101 would be a fantastic deal for all three countries. Ukraine will get 25 combat-ready helicopters. Poland will replace 25 used helicopters with 12-10 new ones. Great Britain will spend the money from its support fund on the real support of Ukraine, and the money will go to the British economy.
