I recently came across your videos and was genuinely impressed by the outstanding content on your relatively smaller channel. What stood out to me, in particular, was the exceptional use of high-quality images throughout your videos. Greeting form the land of poets and thinkers!
Thankyou for your excellent work, and explanation of this truly momentous occasion. I hope this opportunity will allow many people to experience the great presentation and discussion. A world tour for all to admire. From Australia 🦘
Tank for your excellent work which caught the attention of world wide historions. I,one of history lovers have submitted on Facebook that Naga, (cobra) one of human tribes engaged in trade in ancent India and Srilanka were not mythical but Egyptian marine traders with clear evidence.
Good content, Buddhism was already in existence, when greeks entered into persia, is that correct?then Afghanistan, and it was greeks who actually made the very first bust of Buddha. The Damma wheel was a Buddhist symbol before the first statue. Thanks, I learned some new facts 😊😊❤
Yes. Buddhism is born somewhere between 550 and 450 (BCE/BC). Alexander arrives in ca 330, but up until then Buddha is not pictured in human form - that first takes place in the meeting between Indian and Greek culture. The Dahrma wheel has its oldest roots even longer back in time, somewhere about 2500 before 0 and gets picked up by buddhism along the way. Thank you for watching!
@@ancient_history Always wondered about Tibetan Buddhist clothing ,and their high crested hats resemblance to Phrygian and Corinthian helmets, also the Nepalese kukris looking just like a kopis sword. Any thoughts?
@@claudiaxander Unfortunately I can't offer any insight on that. It is beyond my knowledge. It could of course be a coincidence (or not), after all the world is full of similarities without any apparent relation.

Ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ για την εμπεριστατωμένη παρουσίαση - όπως πάντα- για μια άγνωστη πτυχή της αρχαίας ιστορίας. 🇬🇷💖🍉
I will have to answer in English, but thank you for your kind remarks!
Thank you for this interesting presentation. I always learn something new from you. 🎉

Awesome, thanks for the update. Better than reading Archeo magazine
Thank you, I am glad you liked it!

Thank you!
Ashoka sent 30,000 buddhist monks to Greece Egypt and Palistine,

Some would say that Hinduism… So to speak, and Hellenism have similar, if not identical god, just with different names
DAMN INTERESTING
Thank you!
"in Roman times"😁 but, as always, very interesting story👍 and too bad they didn't build a Budist temple in Rome or Athens!!
Sometimes it's hard :) Anyhow, thank you for watching!
Buddhist remnants are clearly apparent in Catholic rituals, theology, and practices.

"mythical Ashoka"? Ashoka is a historical figure.
You are absolutley right. That was a bit careless statement on my part. Yet, I treat him as a real king in the story! But yes, sorry.
Thanks for pointing out .. I don’t know why Indian real history and philosophy is always sidelined with mainstream
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Fascinating, thankyou so much!
Thank you for watching, I am pleased that you appreciated it!
