One of the sweetest kindest meetings between young and old that I have ever seen. Mr. Knowles is a real gentleman, happy with his lot, and the two youngsters are well spoken, well mannered and unspoiled. They will go far in life and will cherish this moment for years to come.
Hi guys, I'm working on a video on Peter and this video has formed part of my research. Want to say great job to the two kids involved, and also fair play to Peter. Clearly a very nice man, holds no resentment towards football and doesn't mind being asked about it as he knows where it got him. I am an atheist myself but it's plain to see Peter has gained happiness out of what he has done, and many may question whether what he did was right, but at the end of the day he doesn't regret it and has said he is happy, which is all that really matters!
How lovely. I never got to see Peter play but everyone I speak too who has along with former players say he was a class act. Looks like after all these years he still is 🐺🐺🐺
I admire Peter how he has kept himself in good shape. I’m 67 playing with some lads tonight I loved to slim down a tad. Great interview lads, hopefully they had a pint afterwards!
Peter Knowles: a humble man. Whether I believe it was a good decision for him to quit football for his religion, I respect the fact he felt happier for doing it.
all for something that is almost certainly not true.........if in the unlikely event there was a god its certainly not his god.....christianity is the most investigated and the easiest to debunk...
Hello Peter. Long time no see. Hope you and Jean are ok. Say hello to Stan and Diane. Stay strong in the faith brother. From: Peter & Jane McKee, Saratoga Springs, NY USA
