Reminds me of a beautiful girlfriend I had..we had to go our separate ways because she was truly a SMARTY PANTS...loved to party too much...wow...
I own a 7” 45 copy but this is my first hearing of the long version. The bass runs on this side are incredible. Now I must find a copy of this version
"I Would Love A Copy Of This Album"...😇
I can relate to this song, being one that doesn't take no shorts, likening to it real. 😲👌
Just a great tune yet another credit to 70s music 🤩🎶

Este tremendo balanço de 73 com as meninas do First Choice tem cara de ter sido tocado na saudosa Difusora Jet Music AM.
I never heard this song before but I like it I don't know when it came out I'm sure before my time I'm 42. I like older music this sounds awesome
It came out 1973
On Philly Groove Nickle Shoe records dist. By Bell Records.
NOTE: Song starts at :22. Love the instrumental segments added to this version of "Smarty Pants" - it really adds to the beauty of the jam. Would have loved to see Rochelle Fleming of First Choice and Barbara Roy from Ecstasy, Passion & Pain battle it out back in the day, because they sure battled it out on the charts with some funky jams!
those to would blow these chicks out the water today beyonce could hang with none of these women and they were young women when they sang this
@@tracydavis5253 right! (you meant "those two", right? ;-)
I didn't know a long version of "Smarty Pants" exists....wow!

such a gorgeous track....BUT... no one said anything about that buzzing?! what happened?!
someone's playing a dentist drill along with that bassline...
or tattoo gun?
i'm listening on studio monitors...so maybe it's not audible on regular speakers? It's wild that they left that in. What the heck happened? anybody know?
