    Hey everybody! I'm back with another Full Body Science Applied video! This was filmed just before the quarantine hit but I decided to delay the upload until some gyms started re-opening so more people could actually run the workout. You can watch the first 3 full body workouts of the series here: ruclips.net/video/nxisr1AalNc/видео.html And you can check out my complete 10 week Full Body Program here: jeffnippard.com/product/high-frequency-full-body-program/ Hope you all enjoy the video! Just wanted to say that I’ve been a fitness professional for a long time, and have trained many pro athletes and some celebrities as well, and I absolutely hate what I’ve been seeing the past few years with the rise of the “fitness influencer” essentially destroying the fitness industry (and the perception of it & even what many people think “fitness” really is).
      With that said, you continue to be a rare shining star in this space providing real science and value broken down in a way that makes it very easy for most people to understand, even if they have very little experience in the gym.
      Thank you for all that you do, and for the positive value you bring to this currently broken industry. You’re definitely an inspiration to me as a young fitness RUclips channel, and I always look forward to checking my ego at the door & seeing if I can learn something new from you.
      Have a great day Jeff, and hope you and your family are staying safe & healthy in these crazy times.

    Currently running your full body high frequency. And loving it. Getting some nice results. At week 5 now. I have been adding in a few more isolations esp of the tricep long head and biceps. And also feel it needs a little more lat work for me. So have been adding in some more, and normally unilateral lat pulls.

    Hi Jeff. I find your videos fascinating but I feel they are geared more towards young lifters in their 20s or 30s. Can you please do a program for intermediate lifters in their 40s?
    What's the best way to train in this age to avoid injury, reduce fat and increase muscle mass most importantly continue training in 50s, 60s and 70s

    • @ashmaypt
      @ashmaypt 4 года назад +1

      Hey man, I honestly don't believe that his videos are geared to younger lifters, the information applies to everbody.
      Regardless of your age, the way you build muscle, burn fat, and stay injury free is the same, you need to train hard with good technique and good programming, while listening to when your body needs rest.
      So everything he says applies, it may just be that due to your age, you need to do a few less sets to feel recovered, or more frequently Deload, just ensure you're managing recovery to allow yourself to safely progress.
      Hope that helps!

    Hello Jeff.
    I have a difficult question for you, lets begin.
    Considering 10-30% struggle with hypermobility in joints, do you belive that the increased range of motion can affect musclegain? also do you belive that the increase in ROM can affect the amount of contraction inside the muscle fibers, and because of this give the person larger chances of getting cramps?
    Personally ive been wondering, and the most common reasons for cramping ive heard are the following: Waterlevels, vitamins, warmups and rest. yet i cant help but think that there might be a corralation between the quadriceps contraction from the increased ROM and its affect on the calves. these muscles work well together ive learned through my studies, yet cant put all this together to understand why i cramp up so much during legpresses and leg extension excersises, and recently my hamstring has also started cramping during heavy squats. i follow a quite nice warmup with 5-10 minutes on a bike, 5-10 minutes dynamic excersises and 2-3 warmup sets before my working sets.
    Apologies for the poor grammar and english. :)

    • @ashmaypt
      @ashmaypt 4 года назад +1

      Hey man, the best option is the one that you feel in your lateral delt the most, some will feel one way best and others will prefer the other.
      Just ensure that you're not just choosing the one you can do the most weight on, ignore weight and go for the way you feel the best contraction, burn, and pump.
      Hope that helps!

    Hey Jeff! Could you maybe show us some research and give your thoughts on distributing calories between workout days and rest days? Is it advisable to consume roughly the same amount of calories (or macros) everyday while making sure that the numbers even out by the end of the week, be it a surplus, deficit or a maintenance level? Is there any research that supports this approach, or we should stick to the more straight-forward way of doing it, which is eating more on workout days and less when our body "does not need that much"? Would love to hear your opinion as well!

    When is the last episode dropping? Gyms are opening! I’m on day 3 tomo so would be amazing to get day 5 soon - I’ll probably just guess the reps for now

    Make a video on the order of the exercises. For example, doing 4 exercises for back followed by 3 exercises for shoulders is exactly the same then doing 1 back than 1 shoulder than 1 back than 1 shoulder, etc.. ?

    Hey Jeff, I’m running this program right now. Really appreciate the work put into the videos! I wanted to ask you about the leg extension, and if you think it’s a good idea if you have a history of knee problems. Is it worth it?

    I noticed you're only doing 10lbs on the Egyptian lateral raise. Is that for demonstration purposes or is that a normal weight for you?

    You are an amazing dude and short like I am. I competed at 150-153 being only 5'6" but have drastically overbulked to 180. With the gyms still closed in the DC area and Maryland, leg workouts are hard to come by, and cardio consists of 6-mile walks on the trails. Do you have access to a gym yet?

    Hey, Jeff. Do you find it was easier to gain strength in the gym when you first started lifting, or is it easier to gain strength as the most advanced lifter of all time?

    Hey jeff is normal to have knee pain during sumo? I tried different foot angles and also different stance widths but after couple sets I get knee pain like a knife in my knee but this has never happened to me in other exercises like squat leg ext pistol squat and lunges

      Hey, this definitely isn't normal, you shouldn't get pain like that from any exercise.
      It sounds like the knee pain could be caused through a lack of hip mobility, as sumo requires more range at the hips.
      I would suggest working on improving your hip mobility and then going back to try again.
      Hope that helps!
