I don’t even think I’ve ever looked at the difficulties, I’m a Batman main and never even know his difficulty just picked him cause that’s batgoat. And I’m definitely better at multiversus than I am at tekken
I would put shaggy in braindead tbh. He's the only character you don't really need to lab to find success. If you ever played a fighter then you already know how to play shaggy lol.
As a Reindog main the main pitfall to the character is not understanding he has to alternate between two modes throughout the match: having crystal up and not having it up. Not having crystal up means you play defensively, install it charged as long as possible when given space (not charged means it gets destroyed quicker). With crystal up you're supporting your ally in battle. Not helping your ally by just pooping out 1 projectile every few seconds is atrocious and will lose you so many games. Not installing means you lose the most powerful install in the game. Getting used to the attack ranges and when to use things like Meteor is one thing, but the above is the absolute most fundamental concept Reindog players need to understand. You play around your gem.
As a Jason main, I would put him in the "DEPENDS" tier. On a surface level he's pretty simple to play,yes. But, his attacks are slower than the majority of the cast (if not everyone) which makes him very matchup dependant in 1v1s. Against characters like Bugs,Harley,Marvin, TnJ etc, I have to pray the players aren't that good with these characters or make mistakes, so I have a chance to fight back.
Agreed. I like to play him (alongside T&J), and even tho he has a pretty simple moveset, his slow speed makes him quite sluggish and some of his matchups are just pure struggle.
Hottest take was definitely stripe I feel like his kit relies so heavily on his razors and gun that managing the cooldowns and knowing when and when not to use them puts him in atleast easy or medium tier for me. Plus his stick of dynamite can actually be a stripes downfall if they aren’t using it properly.
As a iron giant main i think the main struggle is timing. His movement is slow but so are his moves haha, it takes some effort to land a single hit on your opponent sometimes lmao(and yes, hes very fun to play!)
I really can't see how Joker and Harley are in different tiers, they're both all about short hop fast falling aerials. Dair confirms into utilt/upair / baiting airdodges into traps. For aggression Harley has dash dance dtilt, joker has side special etc. But they're both just jugglers that rely on dash dance and shffling.
I’ve played a few matches with Marvin, and he has a bunch of weird and good projectiles. Let me say, he’s not easy, but he is super underrated right now. He dies quickly but he has a super strong up air kinda like Mega man’s in smash bros. And his combo game is wild, so I’d say that your placement is valid. If you’re reading this, PLAY HIM NOW
Marvin is currently the real sleeper character. He will see play in pro tourneys if we ever get any. He has the ability to dictate the entire pace of the match.
As a stripe main my brain has became brain dead all I do is jab into up into down aerial and repeat and if oppent at high enough I up attack or side special and shoot if there alive

As a Stripe main, i'd put him in Easy (but very close to Braindead) rather than Braindead ONLY because his buzzsaw requires some timing or people will just dodge it and then it's on cooldown, his skateboard if used improperly is VERY punishable, and his chainsaw is hard to hit with and easy to dodge. But i'm not mad at the Braindead placement. He is insane.
with arya 19:00 you can actually choose which way you land on the opponent with dagger if you side special to the right you go to their right same for left try it out.
I know you can for most people who play her, they not going to get it because it use to easily connect into up special, now you gotta pick the direction then do (which for me is not a big deal)

Tbh for garnet her fundamentals aren’t too hard to understand it just comes down to muscle memory. Her buff just takes a lot of time to get and you don’t have much opportunity to use it at all unfortunately.
T&J/Marvin main. Morty/Shaggy Secondary. I would say this is accurate. Morty is almost depends for me thought cause of how his grenades work now... Knowing when to det them when the opponent is getting close is difficult, but Honestly spamming ground side B and being a great nuisance in 2s by always applying weakness works really well and doesn't require to much brainpower. I would say knowing how to play with grenades now is what makes him difficult.
garnet player here, she is easier to play than you think, she has some pretty simple combos that arent super hard to execute/hit and kill people pretty decently, i dont think she belongs at hard

You gotta either get them to 140 or something stupid or you need to pull off some kind of Albert Einstein move to kill them early. As of now his 2 go to kill moves are dash attack and up aerial, and even those are inconsistent. His only other move that can kill is the snakes that shoot vertically from the ray gun after a while but you need crazy spacing and luck to hit that. I've been playing Morty and he's been fun but dang bro you gotta WORK bro

I think Giant is fairly easy once you get used to the general slow and clunky movement and attacks. Especially in duos sometimes you can just throw shit out and it will catch people off guard. Also because he can fly I think he has some of the best vertical kill potential in the game. I’ve gotten a fair amount of early kills off the top with his up air after my teammate was combining somebody and sending them upward. But all that being said I rarely see him online so that slow clunkiness along with how big and easily combo’d he is might just be enough to deter a lot of players.
