A lot of pro players are struggling with this game right now. The fact that tymier is logging on and whooping top players and pros like it’s nothing is beyond me. 0:20 THATS A PRO NAMED DAVIS LIKE HELLO?
I went on his stream yesterday and my god you guys should watch. Tymier is ahead of his time right now. He played the BEST lebron yesterday and tymier was trolling while the lebron was trying his ass off and tymier still was washing him (His name is MintyHippo)
And laughing with his chat.
This man showed us loops in this video, combos, death combos, kill combos, reads, bomb plays, and box plays. Only 2 days after the game Tymier is STILL looking dangerous.
I understand being good at the game but being more than a professional day 1 is beyond me. Then backing that up with money matches on stream and working top players while trolling is just crazy. Tymier is ahead of his time right now

Not saying he's not good but saying he's this good day 1 isn't at all true. Harley was left completely unchanged except Jack in the box. They even made Harley better honestly. So she still does the same combos but better.

This is why people typically want ranked, pro players doing all of this makes the more casual players not want to play and uninstall the game. being very fair we didnt see the guy during his first training mode session so very well couldve had some trouble adjusting we didnt see but even then very impressive
personally hardest thing is doing a grounded sair and NOT following up with a stilt
the mistakes become way rarer for me now that ive just went at it in training mode for a bit but fuck it still pops up

I don't know if you read your comments but are you are of this instant arial cancel tech? the input for it is Upfoward dodge and it allows you to be in a brief arial status so you can include arial attack in your combos. Don't roast me too harshly as I'm still a novice to any smash-like games but I wanted to share because I found it cool. Maybe seeing you use it can get some nasty combos, I guess.
I love questions. I think what you’re referring to is short hoping that’s not in the game anymore :(. But you can make up for it but doing d tilt - uptilt, into sair. Gives a true combo that’s really good

The disparity between characters like Harley and Taz is proof they didn't learn anything about balance

After a combo, reposition and set up with bombs.

Don’t see why half of this characters attacks have insane hit boxes but then you have characters like lebron whose hand can be going through people and it doesn’t hit
Harley is only good due to the stupid easy combo string that’s going to be patched in the future. Didn’t see any optimal play, just zoning and spam hoping to get into the string 🤡 This is why game died, the zoning and spam wasn’t punishable enough

How do you keep them so close to chain your moves into combos. I try to read doges with Harley but sometimes my moves complete whiff. Or a lot of times they just spam air dodge and are back on the ground.
So outside of dodge reads some follow ups are just true like for example you can jump or dodge jump into up special after dash attack or up tilt and unless you miss that is always gonna hit and kill at high percents

Here’s my guide to play harley.
Platforms are very basic.
1. Learn true combos ( a combo ur opponent cant dodge out of )
2. Learn dodge reads (when they do dodge learn a max punish)
3. Learn kill combos (true combos that kill)
4. Find a character that fits you
5. Go crazy
