Battery will show up as always charging because the adapter is connected to the console, you'll need to pay attention to the battery life yourself but in use, I typically charge once a week and mainly have been playing madden. Throw it on while the console sleeps and I have a few sessions without issue, I haven't had it die and they claim somewhere around 20 hours so for me on a heavy console week that is more than one week of Madden. Will change when CFB '25 launches

Not a fan of back buttons but really like the Xbox layout and want that for my ps5, are the back buttons annoying or could you just ignore them and use those perfect off set sticks 👍🏼

You shoud be good, I can't give you input on how it holds up. So far so good though, I don't play COD that much because that's usually when everything falls apart and starts drifting. I'll be playing CFB '25 A LOT though so I will likely rack up an additional 100 hours on it by August.
