6 months for me and no actual problems still (only dropped once maybe twice since owning and otherwise stored in case when not in use). I use it regularly both on pc and ps5, the BIG thing I would tell people is this doesn't replace the dualsense imo. It's really just an extra controller for certain use cases, the ps5 features (rumble, adaptive triggers and the trackpad itself) are not there so that does limit my use of it, however for fps games, fighting games and games that don't take advantage of the dualsense it's great.
I'm on the opposite end. My edge is a year old. The cable won't stay connected. The clip that comes with it breaks inside and allows the cable to move making the controller hard to use while charging. I do love the feel of the edge.
The battery lifetime for the edge are awful, overtime the grip will peel off and still have stick drift (you can increase the deadzone but it should not be a problem)

I sadly wouldn’t recommend this controller. I’ve had it since the start of January and it worked like a dream… until I tried to update the software. Trying to update the wireless dongle made it stop working completely and the controller update never finished despite waiting for nearly an hour. Costumer service was hella slow and I’m not even sure it’s worth the effort to get a new wireless dongle. The stick drift has become unbearable in certain games. It also has a tendency to stop working completely in the middle of games which has caused many frustrating and avoidable deaths. When you change the sensitivity of the triggers, it also tends to shut the controller down, leaving me to unplug and plug it back in again. The back buttons are a bit too cramped for my liking and placed in a way that depending on the game, makes them hurt to use over time. Overall: Good at the start, terrible any other time. Not worth. :/ P.S. The case was nice :)
I really enjoy using mine. The 'Fightpad" button feature has really improved my game in 2D beat em ups like Street Fighter series. People say it feels "cheap", but the controller seems robust enough to me at the moment.
I currently use this controller and love it. I had the dualsense edge before and it came new with stick drift. The only thing i didnt like is how small the actual grips on the sticks are. I ended up gluing controll freaks on because both the ps and xbox control freaks were too big. Now I have large hands so the small grip on the sticks may not be a problem for everyone. I would give this controller a 9.5/10!

As a ps4 and ps5 owner, I wish Sony would get rid of that goofy touchpad. And turn it into a button. Not a single time have I ever needed it for anything other than it being the option menu in some games which only requires a button functionality. If someone wants to play games that require a touchpad, that would be a peripheral accessory or alternate controller, but the touchpad is just an unnecessary accidental button press, since the touchpad is 3 times the size as the tv that your playing on.

Don't make the mistake of calling it "edge killer"
Sony might end up removing the support of third party controller
It's not an edge killer though.
its far of from killing any decent controller. sony doesnt give a shit about as bad of a product as the vitrix is
The stupidity of the fighter pad buttons being sooo low is painful
I hate the way this controller feels in my hands
Controller is fire but doesn’t vibrate but I still use it. And imagine it does😅😅 but it’s still a great buy
Seriously garbage if you ask me. Stick with scuf fps or the edge.
If this wasn’t so expensive and had vibration I’d cop so fast. Dual sense is nice but the Xbox controller fit so nice in my hands I miss it
xbox version does
@@draco2xx for me the whole point of getting this controller would be to play ps5 with an Xbox style controller cause I loved the Xbox controller so much before I switched to PlayStation
This definitely on the wish list. I got 3 controllers one pro controller But I’m the only one really playin lol
Those triggers are super sensitive man a light breeze from the wind sets them off its insane
They should make a module that has track pads similar to the steam deck.
Carrying case starting price “3000$”
I’m so exited for this controller
Love the controller. But the trigger adjustment dosent detect presses when at the shallowest setting
Reminds me of the xbox series x2 controller but even better
The only bad thing about this controller is the belt quality, and the overall feel, this controller feels so cheap that its like if the regular dual sense costed $30 instead of 70
Stick drift?
For some reason the charger it comes with stopped working for me very quickly even thought I took good care of it
I had it for a while and i hated the back buttons because i would press them on accident because the controller is chunky af, sold it after 3 months and bought the Ps5 Edge and it's so much better but i hate the small rubber part on it because it will get dirty over time other than that so far it's awesome
I bought the scuf 456+$ trigger stop broke and drift shift…… have to pay to get it send in and repair…… edge is 200$ and the trigger is way!!! Better and good with it own software!
Sweet. I have not seen anything like this since the PS2
dont buy it read the comments more
@@keybae23It’s just like Hunt Down The Refund all over again. FUN!
What cos it takes an extra 2-3 business days to just use the normal trigger
Loving mine, matches my z
I personally think the DualSense edge is better, solely because you can remap every single button the controller, and not just the paddles.
I wonder how thumbsticks at the top instead of bottom feels like
I bought this, had it for a month and returned it because the battery completely died out… did not get a new one
If they can get this controller to put xbox slots in that would be the next step. Having them work on both platforms would be the step after that.
I HAD one of these it was good but feels kinda cheap until it randomly started smoking and burst into flames.
I wish the dual sense had this level of trigger pull but other than that it’s better
If only it had hall sensors. I would order it today...
depends on how much the controller is
You can't change the stick modules in those when you get stick drift so it doesn't kill the edge
I got the edge controller and have no regrets
We have the same keyboard 😁
accidentally steps on my lego controller
That’s so awesome but how much is it
180
tbh I play fps games by only using the left half of my controller and the other half with a mouse it’s great for fps games
Can you flip the right module like you did with the left one
As a ps4 and ps5 owner, I wish Sony would get rid of that goofy touchpad. And turn it into a button. Not a single time have I ever needed it for anything other than it being the option menu in some games which only requires a button functionality. If someone wants to play games that require a touchpad, that would be a peripheral accessory or alternate controller, but the touchpad is just an unnecessary accidental button press, since the touchpad is 3 times the size as the tv that your playing on.
I just wish it was a bit smaller I accidentally swipe it a lot
You can't even buy the swappable modules to replace them if they break. I'm sorry ill keep my edge. I've had bad luck with PDP I had the gambit for my pc went through 3 of them all warranty and I shelved it when it broke a 4th time.
Are you copypasta this every review on the victus?
@Rolkey I think it's copy paste... never heard of this copy pasta before is it good?

Most of these features existed on the Xbox elite controller series 2 years before this controller came out 😂😂😂
Spent all of 2020-2023 using RB LB just to get enough money to buy a crontroller that has adjustable triggers 😭
If the battery lasts longer than 2 hours, I'd say that's a massive W for this controller over the DualSense Edge
It last 20 hours
Vitrix Pro BFG
You have to use it with the cord!
My only problem I have with the normal controllers is that I always get stick drift. Question: how easy could I replace the stick module on this controller?
if it used material like the actual controller and not cheap plastic I would buy it plus it looks like a box controller
This is literally the Astro controller with a different name. The Edge is far superior.
Wish there was an Xbox one
One of the bad things about this controller is the fact that if it gets stick drift then you can't buy new joysticks unlike the dulesence edge controller
Nice
Behold the ps6 controller
Now that's the DualSense edge buster 😂😂😂😂
My cousin has this and I asked him how much was it, I looked it up and sow it at Walmart it was like 100 bucks
