you are an artist! that is really amazing how you take the materials and organize and manipulate them into something with a real purpose. I can tell you take alot of pride in this.
Awesome creation Mak!!! I’ve tied something similar and have been absolutely crushing the bluegills and crappies as an ice fly this winter. A couple tied on drop shot loops above the tungsten jig is the ticket 😃😃. Will definitely try this pattern and variations on the fly rod this spring. Thanks again. More please 😃🎣🎣🐟🐟
Thank you Jack I am glad that you had a great success my friend, well done on tying some thing similar, like I always says you can tie your own style or colours, whatever suits you, once again thank you & keep it up Regards,, Mak :)))
I try to watch all your videos Max. I have learned so much from what you have demonstrated. Thanks so much for what you do. Years ago in the early 1990's I had a class from Eric Leiser and he showed me a few things and in no time I was tying the Chuck Caddis. A few years later he wrote the Forward in Paul Schmookler and Ingrid V. sils book. Rare and Unusual Fly Tying Materials. I was very lucky to get a copy autographed by both authors plus Eric Leiser as well. Eric has passed on now but he contributed much to Fly Fishing. He was a real fine gentleman, like you. Thanks again Max. Fred DeFelice
@@Makflies you've got me addicted to tying these bead cord shrimp!! Got the bead cord in various colours and thickness now, found them on amazon!!!. Thankyou!!
Heh, last winter I stole your green gammarus concept, and ended up tying a bunch of different versions based on the idea. This pink one was one of them, and it ended up catching me a nice handful of seatrouts during the spring season, so I owe you a thank you for the idea, Mak.
