Too bad only 12GB is available for the end user.
$799 OnePlus 12 with 512GB UFS 4.0 (vs. much slower 3.0 that Pixel has) and 16GB Ram that IS available and no ai gimmickry. Choose wisely.
And last time I checked, 128GB is more than 12 or 16 GB LOL.
Macbook Pro has same amount of RAM that the Pixel has storage if you want to look at it that way.

I have the Pixel 6 currently, before that Samsung and before that HTC. I have never noticed lag, nor ever felt like my phone was slow. I certainly don't need a Snapdragon Gen 8 speed.. Really, the only use case that would be beneficial is if you game on your phone, and i feel like that is a very niche market. I'd rather my money go towards features that are useful day to day, and a fantastic camera, rather than needless Processor speeds.

The video inadequately compares the S24 Ultra and Pixel 9 Pro, overlooking their distinct design philosophies. The Pixel 9 Pro, with its Gemini AI and Graviton 4 NPU, focuses on a seamless AI experience, while the S24 Ultra, despite adopting Gemini, primarily emphasizes hardware capabilities.
Although Samsung incorporates Gemini AI, it doesn't inherently make the S24 Ultra AI-centric. The Pixel 9 Pro's dedicated AI hardware arguably delivers a more comprehensive AI experience.

Talking about the 2 years S22 Ultra charging speed. It will charge up to 39W for the first 20% from 1%. Then, once it hits 20%, it will reduce the charging speed to 36W from 20% to 70%. Once it hits 70%, it reduces the charging speed again to 26W until it hits 90%. Once it reaches 90%, it will consistently reduce charging speed 18W until 3W from 90% until fully charged. It takes at least 1 hour to fully charge without touching the phone. The charging speed might be the same as the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

By examining the similarities between Samsung Galaxy AI and Apple's AI, it becomes apparent that Google's AI serves as the catalyst for these technologies. After I then read the pixel 8 pro reviews on Amazon y decided to cancel my order for the pixel XL 9.
The prices of 1300 is near iPhone 16 pro Max 512 GB territory.
I don't know if I can justify this price tag. I believe 899 would been the right price point.
This phones are overpriced by 300 to 500 dollars. They just not on iPhone levels and certainly not on s24 ultra levels and the ultra cost me with trade in 700. If I payed for it fully I would got it for the same price as the pixel XL 9.

Hi Sal I am a long time subscriber to your channel and always watch your videos. I have an S23 ultra and a Galaxy A9 2018 with 128gb of storage. Many times on different videos if you click on more it takes you straight to the comments keyboard instead of showing the balance of the comment. But it won't clear. If you try and make a comment its frozen up and you can't type. Some times it will clear if you type in 2 heart emojis then use the back button to clear them and you can type normally. Some times it freezes completely and you have to use the App change key. The App clears but leaves the frozen keyboard in place over the different App. The only way to clear the keyboard off the screen is to open the different App underneath it and that usually clears the keyboard. If you go back into the YT video and access the comment section and then it seems to have cleared whatever was causing the keyboard to freeze and it will then allow full use of the keyboard again. All of the software and Apps are up to date. The phone is still on the same battery despite 6 years of excessive use. Occasionally when it is charging it gets to 20 % charge the phone shuts down and switches itself off.
Apart from this the phone performs perfectly. Do you think that the phone needs a software refresh or which Cache needs to be cleared. Any advice on how to solve this would be greatly appreciated.

For example today (Aug 16th) a multi core score of 5262 was recorded on geekbench's website, which is quite the improvement over the 4800 seen in this video. It could be that Google is still adjusting clock speeds to find that sweet spot they're looking for since this benchmark had a 2.02 GHz Base Frequency over the 1.95 that we're used to seeing.

Google is marking big mistake by using tensor chips which is collaboration with Samsung. But luckly ffrom 2025 that would not happen and they are going to make Tensor G5 chips with TSMC. Which would be that game changer.

most apple fan shaming samsung and pixel because they only focus on social media which apple are good at ( because the apps was optimized for ios) .
they dont find spen and samsung security is useful since theyre mostly on social media, not business.
iphone build an image where people use iphone is considered rich. in twitter / x , people always making fun of " from android" . hence people wouldnt mind using iphone 6 instead of s24 ultra, just because of "from iphone" screenshot from ios interface , imessage , facetime.

After changing many smartphones, the one thing that matters to me the most, is NO extra UIs. I want pure Android, with no extra apps and shit, that companies put inside and the worst of all they won't let you remove them. From what i know, Google only have pure Android in their phones, so it's a no brainer for me.

One thing that keeps me from trying out the Pixel other than preference is the fact that at this point I'm too far into the Samsung ecosystem and there's still plenty of gaps in Google's to where it isn't even comparable.

I personally wouldn't mind trying out the pixel XL but unfortunately we don't get the phones where I live it has to be a special import making it way to expensive.

The one thing I don't like about Samsung Ultra is the phone design. It has an amazing screen display but I'm not a fan of the square look. It's like a mini tablet. I love the design of the pixel 9 pro design. I'm choosing pixel 9 pro just for that and their camera.

Samsung easily for me. It does everything the pixel can do plus much more. The only category pixel wins is a slightly better camera

If you're using a Samsung phone, you feel like you're better than Apple and Google in terms of quality of camera, display, speaker, mic ,AI and performance. If you don't trust me go to Samsung stores.

If more parts of the OS are delegated to LLMs, it should eventually prove to be more future proof.

Google releases updates faster with new features only models that are current. For phones that are only a year old, you don't get any new features. Sometimes it happens that with a long delay, new functions arrive, but it seems as they are reduced and do not work so well. Samsung supports 3-year-old phones with new features.
