Thanks Kay. I needed some way to store my hoops and I am new to quilting too. I love this project and how detailed you are in your description. You make it look easy and I’m definitely going to give this one a go .
Kay, I am thankful you show this tutorial. I have this and want to make it. I don't know if it will be large enough for all my hoops, but maybe it will work. I think it will be an added decor for the sewing/embroidery room. :) I like to see you stitch them out and then I feel more confident that I can do it. Maybe one day I will be to the point that I won't need anyone to show me.
Hi Virginia, this one held my 8"x12" hoop but if you want to make it wider cut all you pieces wider. Say you wanted an extra 1.5" rather than 13.5 wide cut to 15" instead you can always cut your 2 larges backing panel fabric taller for extra long hoops too. I hope this helps. Happy stitching.
Hi Francine, OK it will hold an 8x12 as I have made it but it could be enlarged by adding wider sashing and adapting it to work for your giant hoop. I hope this helps.
Thank you for this awesome video! Do you think it would be beneficial to interface the fabrics to give this more stability when holding hoops? It just seems to me like cotton alone might not hold everything nice and steady.

Another great tutorial. I love your voice, pace and clarity. It always makes it so much easier for me. Also love your ambidexterity.

I would like to make this hoop holder! Where do I find the size for the back and top fabric? Can anyone give me the size please!
All the fabric dimensions are given in the instructions Sandra.
Hi! I just came across your pattern and I am wondering if this pattern, when completed, will hold a hoop that is 10"x6" in size.

I didnt bother on mine and it was fine, but you can if you prefer. Happy stitching and happy New Year.
I love this idea and like to do it. But when do I use the small and when the large patterns?
I used the small ones on mine. If you use a bigger hoop you can use the bigger ones in that. Use what fits.
Thank you! I've wanted a way to store my hoops. How do we make it wider for larger hoops?

How do I get the free PDF or list of the sizes of the materials to use.
Hi It is in with the downloaded files.
