I'm so impatient, so I wasn't going to watch the video. I just couldn't wait to make my Santa. BUT, I watched it and I'm thrilled that I did. You give such wonderful & thorough instructions. Thanks so very much for this!!!! Off to my machine I go...... :D
Thank you Kay for yet another awesome tutorial. I wish we had the option for "LOVE" rather than "LIKE"'. Your videos always make me want to rush out to purchase the perfect fabric to get started on the project at hand. Thank you so much once again xxx
Thank you Kay for another excellent video, I’ve just been and bought Santa and a few other lovely files. I am new to machine embroidery but after watching you tutorials, feel confident in tackling just about anything 😁
Love watching your videos. Have learnt so much! I’ve managed to get the smaller squizzors but would love to have your link to the larger size. Would you be able to post this please? Thank you!
Hi Sunita pleased you enjoy my vids thanks for watching and for your feedback. The spring action precision aquarium scissors I have are our of stock at the moment but I have found these ones are the same size and very similar. www.amazon.fr/FZONE-Stainless-Aquarium-Scissors-Aquatic/dp/B08G1Y58HJ/ref=sr_1_9?__mk_fr_FR=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&dchild=1&keywords=aquarium+scissors&qid=1606149624&sr=8-9
Love your video. I dont think my machine would handle the thickness though. Just got over some issues with machine so I wont even attempt it but this is a great video.
Thank you and thanks for watching. If your machine has a setting for raising the foot you would be fine, if it doesnt then probably no. You would be OK making it single sided though or without long faux fur maybe use a fleece instead, it is only the faux fur that makes it thick.

HI. Love the tutorial! Can you tell me where you got the spatula type tool you use to hold down the fabric? I've searched online but can't find one anywhere. Many thanks.
Hi Barbara I think it might have been a bone in a back brace at sometime in it's previous life. I honestly cant remember for sure. An old Bic pen with the cap on does the job just as well.
Hi , i enjoy your videos 🥰 you mentioned raising pressure foot can you tell me please what number u recommend raising it to . i bought this design and don’t want to get it wrong , thank u Sue
Hi Sue, it depends on the thickness of your fabric. It wouldn't be wise to rely on my settings for the fabric I am using for the fabric you are using on your machine as they will likely be totally different. You just want to raise it high enough for the foot not to tough or scrap on the solvy topper covering your fabric. You can always stop your machine and raise or lower it during stitching if you think your need too, dont be frightened to try different settings. Thanks for watching I'm pleased you enjoy my videos. Happy stitching.
