Thanks for this video. I will go to TS and see if they have these in stock. I have 2 in pipe and I hope it will attach to round pipe for both sides of the latch
That's it Punxsy, just keep showing them horses how easy the latch works on the gate. Next thing you know they will be heading off to town without you! Great set up though, looks like real good quality.
You forgot the through bolt on the second one!! They'er gonna escape!! LOL! Very nice latches, I could use one on my gate behind the house, thanks for posting.
Yeh I need to get on that right away. Dog gone post shifted on me and that thing is barely catching. Just another thing that needs fixed, you know how that goes Brother. Stay sharp Jason.
Found you looking for a latch that can hold my DIY Murphy bed up at the ceiling without risking squashing anyone. I figure if one of these can hold a single-minded horse, one at each corner should hold the weight of the bed!
Exactly what I was looking for. I will be at Tractor Supply later today getting one of these. Thanks very much, appreciate it. God bless.
You're quite welcome. Stay sharp. WWG1WGA
That is a great latch. It looks way more dependable than the rope we used when I was a kid.
They work for me mainly because I can open and close them with one hand. My other one usually has something in it. (beer bottle) haha, just kidding.

This looks like one handed operation, unlike the two-way latch which requires both hands.
+Paul Van Velzer Yes it is, very handy. Thanks for watching and stay sharp.

Nah, they ain't got the thumbs for it, haha. They are real good quality, don't know how they wound up at Tractor Supply, haha. Stay sharp.

Do you think it would work with overlapping gates?
To be honest, I'm not sure. I would have to see your gates to see what you mean. Thanks and stay sharp
