tis the season to get cleaning. as an amateur I just use any leaf blower to dry paint, for everything else like wheels and panel gaps I bought the metro vac sidekick blaster you feature in your videos. btw i also picked up a McCulloch steamer recently. I got the MC1375 instead of the MC1385. about $30 cheaper but has the same PSI, steam temp, hose length, and cord length but a smaller water tank (according to the specs at least that's my conclusion).
I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.
I ended up purchasing one and on coated vehicles it makes good work! I modified the tube and shorten it and then added a rubber guard to the front because I have knocked up against my car once. Never again!
I got the 530 cfm one! Semi-pro tip: Put painters tape around the end of the blower. One day you’re gonna bump somebody’s car with it and painters tape is a lot more forgiving than the hard plastic
Love the approach you have on your videos as far as recommendations and the fact that you don't 'NEED" all this gear to get the job done. Thank you for keeping it real.
Another alternative blower is the green works blower , remember the more cfm a blower has the better air flow or pushes air out! don’t fall into the mph. 🙌🏽
Two hands for sure while using the Ego blower. The back end of it is the heaviest so it will kick when using boost because the power is coming out from the front and is also the lightest part too. Basically the back hand is to carry the weight and the front hand is to control the direction of where the blower is going
Your videos have really stepped up in the past few weeks and months, good work man! Your channel as well as Wilson Auto Detailing have been big helps in starting my business.
How I do it an how we did it at jaguar was just using the air gun with the compressor as I'm going along with drying towel get it done in like 5-8 min an its perfect plus it's great for door jams, that's what I'd recommend if people don't want to spend the money on the blower plus it's more precise
Awesome video. A few months back I was in the market for a blower for yard work. I landed on this EGO 650 and was able to justify the price because it doubled to dry vehicles during details. Totally worth the price and it is great for both uses.
I'll look but have you guys done a video about what to do when you're in the rainy seasons like we are in Cali right now? Last year I took a big hit when it was raining for about a month straight
I’m new to this channel but not detailing . Always like compressed air not always an option so the DeWalt 20 v brushless blower is what I use . Gets the job done quick and efficiently.

You can buy a Ego backpack link, sell your smaller batteries and get bigger battery if you want to get longer worry free use out of your unit and it also transfer the battery weight to your back which makes it lighter and easier to control. All for convenience. Bigger batteries tend to give more power and juice such as ( 1 ) 5ah is probably better than ( 2 ) 2.5ah . Get a 10ah and you can even clean your client's entire backyard for them. 😆

The master blaster is definitely better but the ego 650 is close behind 2nd place cordless is better but master blaster gets into the tight cracks better I find that the leaf blower can leave behind water in some cracks but can still be good tool I returned the 580 for 650 cfm the gyeon silk dryer works good best drying towel 👍🏾
What kind of air tool are you using to dry vehicles?
I let the wind dry my vehicle.

I force air through my car at about 75-80 mph on the way home from washing my car
Stihl gas blower. Noisy but it works.
Can you make a video on how you deal with clients belongings what you do and how to speed up the removal process of there items please

Secret time: I convinced the wife last year that we needed this to clean up the obscene amount of leaves we get in the fall... little did she know🤫

Hey bro, does this blower work good on vehicles that are NOT coated? A lot of blowers take too long to blow off non coated cars.

Do you recommend using one of these over a car specific air dryer/ cannon? Is it bad if there’s no filtered air like in the leaf blowers
Watch my latest video on "2 things you can upgrade". I go over some points on this
How does it do when doing multiple cars per day? Do you charge the battery after each car?
You will be able to order a stubby attachment for this one from Obsessed Garage in a couple of months
Ayooooo
Hi RayNLA - did Matt announce this? How do you know this is in the works?

Why not just use a air gun with compressor? Can use it for way more than just drying
@@dbj4259
Compressors aren’t battery operated, cordless, and blow leaves into a pile.
Does blower drying work for uncoated cars? Or just use a towel to be faster?
What drying towel do you use? Also does it leave lint behind ??
I use a Dewalt blower because I have multiple batteries because I have majority of their tools. 💯
An honest review, I am curious though how long it honestly takes to touch less dry a sedan like BMW 5 or a Merc E Class?

I use the blower function of our rigid shop vac
That can work too, but just annoying having to keep switching
Can I use a small leaf blower for the car without damaging the paint
Get a makita mini blower they work great compact but powerful
Ryobi cordless blower the whisper awesome blower for cars yard work anything practically
Great video !
What drying towels do you use?
I can't figure out why you say not to blow dry the whole car and just the places where water collects. Thanks
Unless the car is coated or protected in some way, it's going to take too long to blow dry the whole vehicle with just a blower.
Been looking into battery blowers, just sold my master blaster
Why did you sell?
How do I get more customers
It may be pricy but the money will.be recovered when you have cars to detail
What do you think about using a Cordless Backpack Blower?
I’ve never used one, so not sure. Seems cumbersome and overkill, though.
i love ear muffins
Stihl bs blower 👌
Bro but why would you use such a big and heavy blower ?? Yes it’s cordless but it’s too big n heavy

WHAT DO YOU RECOMEND FOR CLEANING GLASS IN THE SUN ?sometimes the water dries fast if you don’t clean that first
Use wax then wipe off when it has dried.
I use a silicone blade to wipe it down as fast as possible, then follow up with glass towel+glass cleaner
