That was my original recipe ingredient but I changed it since I wasn't able to find them in the store. But they would certainly add yummy flavor.

Chicken in a biscuit crackers would be really good on top and the french fry onions mixed inside would be awesome. That’s how I’m gonna do it.
I think crunchy french onions you use in green bean casserole would be good on the top.

Love your casseroles. My daughter and her family come over and mow, etc.our yard and won't take money so I fix them a casserole to take home since they all work. She and granddaughter love chicken casserole and even take them to work for lunch the next day. I know I can always get good chicken ideas from you. God Bless You and your family!!!

I usually use Ritz crackers on top of my broccoli casserole I've never tried club crackers, but I think they would be wonderful on this chicken casserole. This looks easy and quick and so delicious thank you for this great recipe Catherine. Believe me I am trying all of the recipes and I am loving them my son gives you a big thumbs-up!👍👍😋

Cream of celery has always been my favorite of the cream soups.
Love this so I'm making it tonight for hubby, so far he loves everything you make, This is a great meal if you're on a budget too. I love anything that's one pan, makes it so easy to clean up and I love that I can make it ahead. TFS

this recipe is very good!! I followed along with your video as I was preparing it
The only mistake I made was I used peas and fresh carrots for veggies, I sliced the carrots up thin however I should have pre cooked them

I boiled chicken breast in some water with chicken bullion cubes. And I cooked the noodles in the water my chicken cooked in.. And I added sour cream in the mixture. Yes I use cream of celry. And cream of bacon is good too..

@@CatherinesPlates I didn't know about Cream of bacon either until last year. I bought a few cans to try it. I try to keep at least a case of asserted cream soups in my pantry. I love the flavor cream soups add to so many dishes and casseroles. And Sometimes I eat cream soups heated up with a lil milk.. Oh it tastes so good!!! Catherine. Im loving your recipes!!! This along with all of your recipes makes my mouth water... looks so good! Many years back I went to the store to buy Cream of Chicken soup only to discover they were totally out... and I ended up with Cream of Asparagus soup... it was delish and now I use it all the time for cooking, too! So odd.. I NEVER would have tried that.. and we LOVE asparagus in this family.. but. Cream of Asparagus soup? nahh lol. You never know until you try it, huh? I love this casserole! I have always added a little Kraft Mayo and sour cream to make it even creamier. Thanks for sharing all your yummy recipes. I have gotten so many great ideas from your channel.

Tried this and loved it, but wasn't crazy about the crackers. Lately, we have been using StoveTop on certain casseroles. Making it tomorrow. All you do is put StoveTop in a large bowl then mix in 1/2 cup if melted butter. Stir well. Otherwise follow your recipe. You may need to return to the oven for 10 minutes, rather than5. Makes a very tasty and crunchy topping! If should be so good because your recipe is wonderful!!! Thank you so much!!

I’d be partial to using a generous bit of freshly ground pepper mixed into the cream soups first...in fact, all the spices could go in there! 👍. And, don’t skimp on the garlic powder!

Don’t know who’s standing there begging for a bite more, hubby or the dog! Your husband has the advantage, he’s y’all enough to sneak a bite, poor puppy has to wait till some one drops or shares some. LOL Ours are very vocal when they want a bite, especially the little Beagle. Yum, one dish meal, got everything you need in it, now all we need is one of your Desserts! 👍🏻👏🏼😊
Our Beagle is vocal only on certain foods. The rest of the time she is like a ninja.

Like your shirt Catherine. Sou Chef got caught snacking on the job lol. I have made chicken casserole for years, one of my family's favorites but I use cream of chicken and cream of mushroom and ritz crackers but I don't mix the crackers in I add them on top of the casserole and it adds a crunch. Some have made my casserole with broccolli in it but I have never done that. This is versitile you can add any veggies or not add them and any crackers. I don't add cheese to mine either I add sour cream.
