Thanks for the videos, they are informative and helpful. One suggestion would be to place the link to any follow up or previous video in the description. I see that you added links to the kit and other tools, perhaps you can also include the wiring and or tuning video links for whichever accessory you are demonstrating. Thanks. Keep up the nice work. I have an EMU Black with the PnP harness on the way for my 89 Supra 7MGTE. I've watched a few of your other videos for the sensors (IAT and the likes) where you terminated the wires and eventually placed the pins into the plugs. I was wondering much the wiring/pin slots would differ since a PnP harness is being used?

never updated this video zach need the wiring

There's a separate video on how to terminate shielded wire, and sensor pinouts are in the help menus and manual. One wire to knock input, one wire to sensor ground, shield gets grounded at one end.

Is it possible that the ECU can cause an engine knocking mostly from a cold start, then taper off while it’s warming up ?
Or if there is a knocking it will be there the whole time while the engine is running?
Is it possible that just a portion of the programming could be off ?

I know on the EMU Black pins 3 & 16 are for the knock sensor inputs, the other pin/connection from the knock sensor just run to sensor ground correct. Can you also run the shielded wire ground there are well or should it be separated to it’s own ground. Hopefully I didn’t say that too terribly

The best answer would be to email support@ecumasterusa.com and they can provide a detailed answer to help you out.

Knock sensor signal to emu, knock sensor ground to sensor ground and one side of the shielding to chassis

@@MikevanEschone end of each shielded knock sensor goes to chassy ground correct? So I'll have 2 shieled ground leads off the knock sensor onto the engine block also?

@@damnitdang Always connect only one side of the shielding to either the chassis or engine block (chassis preferred). DON'T connect it on both sides

Absolutely! A fuel system that is properly sized for ethanol combined with a flex fuel sensor can produce excellent results with a good tune!
