Relays have always confused me for no reason. I like these videos for reference when working on my cars, keep them coming!

Glad to help! There are plenty more to cover... almost too many lol

So the output of Emu Black for Main relay function is a Low Side (or ground signal)? But when you check the box "invert output" it switch to 12v?

Would love to see a water methanol table based on map and RPM (Alpha-N with Map). Currently using the nitrous fuel scale and a virtual output to trigger my fuel cut and lamba table switch. Using a PWM 1 table and output driving a solid-state relay to control water methanol pressure. Would also be great to see an additional pressure for W/M currently using AC pressure with my 0-5v sensor since all other pressure inputs are being used.
    Great product.

In the diagram there is 2 12v supplies are both from the battery? 86 and 30? Or is 86 from from something else?

Well needed video, very useful info.
I wired my entire project car down to engine harness & body harness. When I finished I had all my relay triggers as + triggers not realizing that all the auxiliaries on the emu black was - triggers referencing ground. Luckily before even testing it out a colleague of mine pointed that out to me which I then just had to cut all my grounds swap the pins and feed the + triggers to a fused 12v source. Swapping the pins meant that I didn’t have to cut any wires that was already run to the emu connector for fuel pump/fans, I labeled everything and left only the main relay in my custom box as a + trigger whilst all others are now - triggered.
Great and useful video esp for those doing their own wiring as when you check out relay wiring diagrams online it tends to show that you can wire it both + or - trigger and both ways are accepted based on intended purpose.
    Useful video, keep them coming
    Side note:
My current dilemma is that I now have fuel and spark and synchronized during cranking and adjusted timing with a light but still she wants to start up but just won’t start with the base map. 🥹😩. I am using all WHP fuel Pressure and temp sensors & adjusted my fuel rail to 3bar which is roughly 43.5psi. All my injector data for my ID1050x are in from the wizard and I’m also using the coils without igniter so the emu drives them and tested everything works and is numbered to match each coil & injector.
Almost ready to pull my hair out 😂

0:40 you can see where the battery post has been touching and trying to weld itself to the compliance plate

For an older Nissan that uses grounds to trigger the relay do I wire up a relay for the factory relay?

Since we are also triggering the ground (low side) we will trigger them the same way.

Is it possible to hook up more than just one Device (Bluetooth Module) at the serial port? (Second device an arduino maybe?)
Sorry for offtopic :D liked and watched of course :D

Isn't 85 suppose to be ground? So emu is sending a ground? I thought it was 5v

    • @ECUMasterUSA
      @ECUMasterUSA  2 года назад

Yes we are using a pull to ground from the EMU, so in this case 85 goes to the EMU.
