Is putting up a paywall wrong to bands and followers??? What is your opinion on this matter?

@@FYMPRODUCTIONSMEDIA Amen to that, I don’t need some popular RUclipsr to help me get views and followers. I will find my own way to do that and help others along the way

I see nothing wrong in this man's logic. Bands paid for album reaction? Bam thats the compensation you get. Its entitled to hold a reaction from the public and bands just because you are worried about a few cents from YT ad revenue. You react, you edit maybe an intro, outro or text notes, and you get paid to listen to new music, there isn't any reason to put paywalls and monetize it further.

    You go, POSS!!!! 🤘
Ripping off bands so the Reactor can get "rich" off the bands talent & not doing what they should be doing ~ "A FULL Reaction" Is disgusting!!!
Leave the shorts for the band themselves to post.
Only exception is if the creator explains what they will be putting up on YT, that should be the bands option, to pay for it accordingly.
My opinion ( everyone has one) This is mine.
    ✌️Peace ✌️

Jesus here we go again with another pity/moan at the scene because you're not performing as good as other channels or don't agree with what they're doing... and I don't know why I'm typing this because it'll fall on deaf ears or get deleted. At the end of the day it's their channel and that's how they choose to run it, and bands are more than welcome to not donate - they're not being forced to. Just like you run your channel how you want, despite multiple attempts from people reaching out giving you advice to improve the performance of your channel.
A band donating $5 or so for exposure during a livestream is entirely different from what you're describing. That donation is for them to get the streamer to play their song/album during that stream in front of the current audience, and bands choose to do this as a cheaper way to market their band, hoping for a viral moment for them to take off. No where does the streamer promise they'll be made into full videos on RUclips at any point during the donation process. So for this the streamer can do as they wish.
On the other hand, if it was a dedicated video, that was pre-agreed with the artist/label in question, with a contract, upload timeline and compensation payment and the streamer hid this behind a paywall, then that is wrong. Which is where the difference lies - you're applying the logic of the latter situation, to the former situation.
It's like giving your mate $5 and asking for him to mow your lawn vs paying a contractor to do it for $100. The $5 situation doesn't cover if the work wasn't up to par, or stipulate a completion rate whereas the contractor will have to complete the work, and guarantee a certain level of satisfaction for the service they provide. Therein lies the difference.

@@ptbempire and this is why you're not taken seriously bro. You post an 18 minute long video complaining about the scene, and your pinned comment asks "what is your opinion on this matter?"... yet won't read and take on board criticisms and opinions people share unless they align with your own and stroke your own ego. This is why you average 7 views per video across your last 9 uploads, compared to significantly smaller channels doing reviews and getting 100x more views.
