Frickin awesome! Thank you!! I think that hole is the one that the factory uses to keep the rotors on while it’s being assembled. Because, the wheels go on at the end. 👌🏽
Thx you sir!!! My brother and I thank you for the tip. Working 2005 Scion xb. Never did brakes on it. All original. My brother use to be a mechanic. So he knows more than I. I salute you. Peace from Chicago.
If your rotor does not have these threaded holes you can rest a hammer between the studs and smack the hammer with another hammer to make it almost impossible to accidentally damage studs while still knocking the rotor loose.
That's even easier than my technique! I would start the car, put a rod between the frame and the rotor and use the hydraulics of power steering. Thanks
I just did my front rotors and brakes on my 2nd gen Titan and I dont recall seeing a threaded hole on the rotor.. Mine came off no problem but I did bring out the dead blow hammer in case it needed persuasion. Just looked at my rotor and it does not have that threaded hole on the rotor.

You got the best advice for Infiniti maintenance thank you
He has, on many occasions, saved me from myself lol
Great idea. After numerous attempts, this worked like a charm on a 2015 Toyota Highlander. I feel like I owe you a beer!🎉
All rotors need this, to be honest. It should come standard on every single one.

Thank you so much.
Nice and easy !! Great info
You are sofa king smart. That was such a good idea. It works on 2015 Mazda CX 9s as well. I just used an eyebolt and my tire iron. Thank you.

Thank you, I like yours too. One day I might not be able to use this bolt technique so it would be nice to have another option.
thank you edbwoy you have saved the day
Nice work!
Much appreciated!
Was it REALLY stuck tho? Seemed pretty easy to pop off lol
God bless to You Man
It’s an old Indian truck! That’s what some old timer told me once told me.
Nissan smart way for the customer
Do cadillacs have that?

Some do some don't. My 2018 Camry has it but my 2016 dodge don't have this hole
What are the measurements of that screw?
8x1.25
@@YodaWiddaPipe M8?
Grease the damn threads, because some rotors you encounter will actually put up a fight.
I did that on some Chevy rotors and the threads stripped out on the rotor 😩🙄😂
That one wasn’t actually stuck…. Try doing that with a rusted on NE rotor…
Dumb. Not every rotor has that. That's not removing a stuck rotor.. that's using the option Nissan gave you.
Try to remove an actual stuck rotor.
That's what its there for, he wrote the vehicle manufacturer
It clearly says this is for Nissan and Infiniti vehicles 🤦
Not all cars have this.... A nice wack with a sledge always helps
